  1. I think I have this m_fergy character on my wii or did once but let's be honest, he's insignificant. It's not a personal slur though, I fail to see how anybody could have any sort of spectacular significance next to the almighty Coolness_Bears! One of the most delightful forum members ever, and for the brief moments I spoke to him IRL OMG pretty cool too. Don't ever stop posting man, you rock! Hope you have the bestest of birthdays
  2. I restored to 3.2E(I could freeloader boot Brawl, which was nice) as I said obviously, then curiously found that the original bannerbomb then would not work, so I used Stack Smash to get into the installer, uninstall HBC and DVDx, then updated to 4.2(strangely my shop channel didn't say it needed updating, it just sort of loaded up with just the background) then I used the latest bannerbomb install for 4.2, everything seems sort of OK now though Gecko seems to confuse itself about whether it's current under the HBB. Even so, I was really just more curious about restoring wiis, possible pitfalls etcetc, but I've found some interesting stuff knocking around on a few sites now
  3. Ah shit yeah, there IS one at the top of the stone tower, and that's a pretty annoying place to have to scale more than twice. I'm most considering the Epona thing, as it's the only thing I can think of that transforms the B button(plus the bird stealing the sword, but I'm in two minds about that and it might steal something else instead), so it might fix it depending on how it works/is coded, though I'm just guessing really. You playing on GC or N64 or VC? I'm starting to get intrigued by this!
  4. I don't to be honest, I did say earlier, so I obviously have nothing to judge it against in that vein. However, I watched it last night but didn't before and most likely won't be doing so too often again, of which I'm sure there's lots of other people in the same boat, so we'll all judge with this skewed view of it.
  5. Things seem to be moving a bit slow, is it still waiting with Marcamillian?
  6. It's not about the audience being against the BNP, it's about the way in which they went about it, do you argue against the BNP like danny would, or like jayseven would? Why one over the other? People are reacting too emotionally! That can detract from the point they'd like to make because they just look too vested in things. I'd be more inclined to say Britain largely hates the BNP, rather than saying Britian is largely against the BNP.
  7. I think this is a most excellent post, but people are getting too caught up in the BNP themselves, and warranting them a bit too much attention to just their views, it only does the BNP favours because they get the exposure. I think you might be giving a bit too much faith to all of the great british public. There's enough people out there to have voted for them already anyway, and apparently there was 8 million people who watched the programme last night. That's not even counting people who are gonna see it at a later time. I watched half of it, and I *never* watch question time. I think if there really was numbers that big, it's very possible some people might have changed their opinion on Nick Griffin/BNP(especially if they know little about them, and only hate them again due to ignorance, and everyone else just talking about how bad the BNP are, then they see him on TV and think 'oh, he's not SO bad, plus it seems like everyone else is sort of just...picking on him'). That is going to get him some support, even a tiny invisible bit of doubt in some people's heads, it's going to do something that might help them at a later date. Just watched the thing Alan Davies was talking about, pretty smart actually(go check it out; 'This Week' on BBC iPlayer). He brings up some true points though, and a reason why I think the BNP are getting support in areas. Britain IS getting a massive influx of immigration, I've seen it happen to my own town with my own eyes, we were once one of those minority families! I'm not against immigration, I'm against it if it takes from the country, though, as it can't be making Britain any stronger. I'll be honest though, politics, immigration, all this I talk of, I know little of the facts and figures, simply because I hear so much shit I can't be arsed to try and keep up, so I apologise if I say something stupid in my ignorance. Anyway, The BNP, albeit very extremely, attempt to address these 'issues' of a dilution or a weakening of Britain due to immigration, for some people that is enough. I think this is a byproduct of the classic 'Political Correctness Gone MAD!!', it is hard for anyone in the public eye, especially politicians, to mention anything which would look discriminatory against immigrants or races or look to preserve 'british' values and culture. When they do? They get vilified by people and the press for being racists! Rarely do people address the issue publicly because of political correctness, but the BNP do, and for some people, they're the only ones serious about handling an issue that does matter to them.
  8. Now now, I'd never ignore a joke-in fact, I tend to take my jokes very seriously! I don't think I ever said to just ignore them anyway, I'd never advocate ignoring them. In fact, it's ignorance which largely feeds their growth. I saw some of the thing Alan Davies was saying, but then I stopped paying attention cos I started posting here. It sounded interesting though I wasn't actually sure what he was saying. It's late so this post is staying short, but I'll post something tomorrow that just struck me about one of the reasons I think they're gaining power, political correctness. Funnily enough, I flicked throught channels after, ended up on Sky3 watching 'BNP Wives', halfheartedly, but one bit with them reminded me of Scientologists when they were canvassing, and the dude said to the camera that some woman who objected on the street was 'a left wing operative' when she was...just a woman who was rightly offended with them. Sadly, I think I have to agree, sort of what I was trying to get at with my first post. I definitely think it does 'us'(as I keep saying, us and them, I refer to 'us' as those opposed to the BNP) any favours in fighting them.
  9. I never watch question time. I barely did, I tried out that new Russell Howard thing instead(bit shit as it happens) then switched over when it finished half hour later. The fact that we're trying to censor him from appearing is what makes him successful. Nobody likes a hypocrite, and we're doing it, as has been pointed out already, how can we complain about his fascist views whilst acting just as bad by trying to dictate he isn't subject to the same freedom of speech we all are? The fact that we FEAR him being on the TV will be enough to make some people consider taking him seriously. Now he's just been watched by a humungous(no quotable stats, im presuming, but I think it's not ill-informed) number of people, more than he ever would have been if there was no furore. He's probably just gained some supporters off that. There MUST be something in there worth fearing, and people will realise that, and be open to him because of it. We're slowly fucking ourselves over in our attempts to 'fight' him and his/his party's views. From what I saw of it though, he was better than I was expected. Seeing one dude talk on TV about some shit isn't enough to make me think I should consider politics anyhow. I don't judge labour just by Gordon Brown, I don't judge the Conservatives by David Cameron. No matter if Nick Griffin was the most entrancing enigmatic man ever, I wouldn't find myself liking the BNP. However, on the show and off it, rather alot of people are reacting emotionally to him, heatedly, that is not going to do us any favours in the long run, and it could be exactly the back door that might let them sneak them up to the top, for us all to realise it's happened after it's too late. I could go on about Nick Griffin and the BNP more, but essentially I find them highly contradictory in their reasoning, arguments, and examples they use to try and support their views. It's ridiculous yet frightening they're being taken so seriously, really. Why can't we all just laugh it off, like any other joke?
  10. Can you use C-items still then? I'd presume so if you're gonna get the great fairy sword? If you do let the bird 'steal' your sword and you see it fly off with your sword/your fairy says something about it taking your sword, then you play the song of time and it's still not fixed, try repeating but gather together a load of ruppees(or just use the bank dude over the road) and visit the curiousity shop that night or the next night, your sword should be in there for you to buy and that might fix it. He won't always steal your sword btw, it might be a bottle or your shield, and I think it can't steal more than one until you've recovered one, so try a few times until it actually steals your sword maybe. I had another idea btw, have you tried riding epona? If the B-button changes to arrows, see if it changes to sword when you get off again?
  11. Giving this a little bump because I'm in a bit of a pickle it seems, my wii started acting funny after I tried installing an cIOS(I think it's 249?) which, somewhat amusingly, I was installing to make an app called Savegame manager work, so I could do a speedy backup of all my wii saves. I think something happened that made stuff stop working, I couldn't get Gecko to boot(wanted to play brawl) and I panicked a bit and I up and went and did a BootMii restore of a backup I took during 3.2E(I was drunk and thinking stupid whilst entertaining). The amusing twist comes in that in the process I lost my Little King's save, but I've found I can't get to the HBC installation through the 3.2E method, as I wanted to get into the installer to uninstall everything before I went back up to 4.2. Essentially, this is alot of story, my main question is....does anybody know much about recovering troublesome wiis due to the HBC? I think I'm cool but I feel very unstable, and really I'm looking to get more informed on the matter!
  12. I broke my Wii and lost my LKS save, my face is sad :( On the plus side, I get to play it all over again!

  13. I was on at least once! But you came and left within 5 minutes! If I'm there shout my name and I'm more likely to respond, but I sit in about 6 different irc channels so I don't check everytime it starts flashing to tell me I have a message :x
  14. Happy Birthday to you all, especially to Little King Fused!
  15. If I made a new user would I have to reinstall things to make it all work? I'll try turning off the indexing, or just generally avoid going into that folder(I can skip straight to documents instead) but it's annoying having to kill explorer every time, tedious. -.-'
  16. Personally I prefer handrawn/mspaint/sometinartyity rather than the shops but I find them a slightly fresh break to things, so it' sort of cool a long as it doesn't catch on to everyone doing it, but then I also don't know what your drawings are like to judge by?
  17. No luck so far, tried updating to all the updates I can, I think I've sort of isolated the problem a bit closer to home though, it seems to happen pretty consistently whenever I go straight to Rummy from the start menu, I dunno if it's a bad file or something or what?
  18. Thanks for the suggestion of MBAM Ten10, seemed to clean it up better than anything else, and that is now the anti-spyware she shall have on her computer along with AVG instead of avast, seeing as the previous seemed to do shitall for her, though I'm still sticking with it personally. Anyhow, for now all is well, so thanks to everyone for their help.
  19. I had once heard whisperous rumours of this happening, I think a similar(but slightly more useful for something) glitch was in OoT too. That's pretty crazy though, try Sheikah's suggestions and let us know if it works, cos I'm intrigued!
  20. I love you so much.

  21. It's basically two games running concordantly, completely unrelated to each other, the point of which is that you get a chance to both caption and picture, hence you'll have one game which has a picture, and one that has a caption. Sometimes it looks like there's overlap, but there isn't sposed to be(I did worry that might happen). I'll get the new game up today or tomorrow, the order will be... 1. ReZourceman 2. Paj 3. Marcamillian 4. Dannyboy 5. Nintendohnut 6. Diageo 7. Cube 8. SPAMBOT4000 9. MoogleViper 10. jayseven 11. Jimbob 12. Dyson If anybody has decided they don't want to play anymore, post in the thread, if you get a PM as part of the game anyway, kindly forward it on to the next person or back to me and I'll forward it along. Faster than I thought, threw together a picture of some nature, so the game is now rolling! I'll give people 24-48 hours to respond, if there's no answer I'll pass it along to the next person in the chain, cos we're getting more people and we can't all wait forever for the games to finish(or you can, if you want, it's upto you, not me!). Btw Dannyboy and Paj, when you send your PM on, just post here, it lets everyone who's playing see that the game is moving along For anyone who cares, I've edited all the past games into the first post, and made them look a little prettier by centering them.
  22. Why yes, joinings are possible at any time, even during a running game(tho you go to the end in that event). I'll leave it a day or two to hope we get another one or two stragglers(go recruit!) then I'll do the list and start the games!
  23. I do believe that was ReZinald himself, I took names off the pics cos...it takes longer for me to label and put up, and we've got the list somewhere so people can refer back, I might edit it in though. I loved moogle's pic after I realised why he'd done it, lol. The hulk one was pretty awesome though, didn't expect such a turn of events!
  24. Yeah, but as the political correctness thread might show, there's only white and black and no in-betweens! That was the one I was talking about though, you certainly weren't super dark, but you looked darker enough than white.
  25. Seems there was some technical fault with Cube's line for a while there and we had to wait to get the engineers out, took them a while to fix. The problem has now been resolved and a backlog of calls recieved floodingly, please bear with us as we update our records. Order of play(for reference of pics and captions for if people want) was as follows; 0. Rummy 1. Dyson 2. Jimbob 3. ReZourceman 4. Marcamillian 5. Diageo 6. Cube 7. jayseven 8. MoogleViper 9. SPAMBOT4000 10. Nintendohnut Game A Inspired by some DnB rocking at the time... 'Tough guys don't dance' 'Music is not for the angry' HULK DRUM! The Drum Hulk Beat! Don't make cans angry, you wouldn't like them when they're angry. When a huge, huge man throws away and insults his coke can, the giant can gets ridiculously angry and goes on a house stomping rampage. Game B Inspired by someone suggesting me 'Fit as a Fiddle'... "The violin definitely had a strong sound." "Strong" Brand Amplifiers. The most suitable amplifier for Electric Band Camp. Band camp's good for hardcore rockin'! The zombies resorted to throwing capsites at the beatles to get a good night's creep. The sleep deprived Zombie chucked a whole load of WTF? over the giant-ladybird-fronted band that had started playing in his bedroom.
