  1. Sounds like that guy who died because he didn't eat or drink. I think he was a korean gamer too. Quite a mad lifestyle they have over there, but if it makes them happy who are we to judge.
  2. Serenity I can see why this was given 'film of the year' by Jonathon Ross. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Surprisingly deep storyline, great humour and comical characters and great action sequences. Star wars/Matrix+Buffy = Serenity. The only thing I could quibble about is that some characters really could've been left out and had hardly any purpose or contribution to the film. Apart from that, bloody fantastic. 8/10
  3. It's not the sort of thing i'd make up, i'm not that bored
  4. That's one way to get out of all the shit he's been spouting over the past few months. Would've thought he'd come up with something better than that though. "Sorry I got 'fired' because I didn't realise talking about a Revolution game in depth was against the NDA"... c'mon now.
  5. I met Lenny Henry and helped him out at work when he was down in Cornwall. I also saw Dawn French at the same time waiting in a queue. I think I saw Les Dennis at one point too.
  6. Oh my god... THAT is what an Xmen film should be like.
  7. I'm expecting at least the final name. It needs to be known before E3. I can see how casual gamers would get the Revolution and the real name mixed up as two separate things. Perhaps showing off the controller shell would not be a bad idea either.
  8. I started playing this game today. I'm so far up to, I guess would be before the last temple, in Ikana Canyon. As I was browsing the landscape outside Ikana castle I notice some triangular object on one of the pillars, which can be seen atop the castle. It wasn't a bat, it wasn't an item. I jump over to it and it is in fact a paper aeroplane . If you're wondering what pillars I mean, one of the others has a heart piece on around the other side of the castle. Obviously this plane has no significance. Come to think of it I should've shot it with a fire arrow to see what would happen. Has anyone else seen it to at least confirm i'm not talking crap. I took a photo as proof
  9. A gun attachment for FPS, I miss the days of light gun arcade games. There's an opportunity to bring back that experience.
  10. Just watched Planet of the Apes on Ch4. Saw it in the cinema also. It's not a bad film, I can't compare it to the originals however as I haven't seen them, but in its own right it was fairly enjoyable. The special effects and casting was pretty good though I just felt like I was waiting for the end just for some answers and didn't care much about the human struggle sub-plot. The ending does annoy me as I still don't understand it. I'd probably give it 6/10
  11. Buy games/CDs/DVDs that I couldn't be arsed to spend my own money on.
  12. Unless you do an apprenticeship the course you take is never a good representation of whatever job or career you decide to go into. You may not find the work interesting but if you have an idea of what job you'd want to go into and think you'd enjoy it then just keep with it. I did an I.T diploma and by the second year I knew it wasn't what I wanted to do, especially a job involving it. Now i've applied for a music technology course so hopefully i'll get into that. I have no doubts it'll be rock hard and parts I probably won't enjoy but I reckon i'd enjoy a job in that part of the industry so i'm going to take the rough with the smooth.
  13. I think it's pretty funny in places, and damn genius in others.
  14. This is the best news i've had concerning the Revolution since online Smash Bros. Battalion Wars is a friggin excellent game, the only drawback I found was the lack of multiplayer.
  15. Merry christmas. I'm dissapointed Flinky didn't do a huaauuge marque.
  16. When I was younger I used to prefer winter, mainly because of the snow and xmas. Now I prefer the summer, I frickin hate the cold and I hate being forced to stay in because of it.
  17. Just had the standard few pancakes. Lemon and sugar is nice but vanilla ice cream with golden syrup all the way. I love the whole hot and cold thing that goes on.
  18. Why can't she just go home earlier? Sounds like a lot of hassle if it isn't majorly important.
  19. I second that. Red Alert 3 preferably. They can't say it doesn't suit the controls...
  20. Master of one liners "See you at da parrrdy Richter!"
  21. I don't think Sony would copy the new controller as they would be comparing themselves to Nintendo, an image they'd hardly want. I don't think there's much they can do this generation to simulate the experience you'll get on the Revolution.
  22. Well if the Rev is similar to develop for at least they're more familiar with what they're doing this time around. I wish them luck I quite enjoyed Geist in places, it was original and had a lot of potential.
  23. T3 was a different director, wasn't James Camerons vision, shouldn't have happened, and the female terminator couldn't act for shit. Now that's out the way I know exactly what you mean, if you look at the Star Wars prequels things like this are done numerous times. At several points Obi Wan or Anakin will say something and i'm like, wait... Han Solo said that in such and such. Thing is there's a balance, done too much and it becomes annoying and a desperate attempt to link two films. Done right and it can be done like the Terminators, where it's not noticeable but a nice addition.
  24. It'll probably be Pikmin Super Smash Bros Kart.
  25. Too true. I used to play it all the time during exam days with my mates. Many an exam we were late for because of that game.
