I agree about the Sugar Rush setting. I thought they could have had more of a variety of settings in the film, made it a bit more interesting, but i suppose that's something else for the sequel? Otherwise i thought it was a great film - a bit slow to get going, but it gathered pace nicely, and finished badassly. 8/10 is a score i would give it. The Dreamworks trailers did fall a bit flat (although the Croods did look.......ok.....apart from dat name), although i don't think aaaaall Dreamworks films are bad. Megamind is one of my all-time favourite animated films, and How to Train Your Dragon is good (and Shrek obviously).

So the algorithm doesn't (or didn't) take into account the number of times the links are actually clicked, they just note how many links linked to a site? I see how that could be abused. So do you actually ban these SEO people, or are they technically not doing anything wrong (other than abusing the laws of grammar)?

My girlfriend and I donate the money that we would have spent on Valentines day to charity, and then stay at home and watch a David Attenborough documentary. However, i notice that she's started looking longingly at all the Valentines Day stuff and mentioning things we could have done instead - but can't say anything because she'd be essentially stealing form charity if she did...:p I bought her some chocolates as a surprise this year to keep her happy.

I think it probably was an accident. Seems unlikely that they would be having a row at 4am in the morning. At first i wondered if be might be being set up and that he didn't do it - but with all the evidence pointing towards him.... ...looks like he might not have a leg to stand on.

Seriously thought, what is the point of them? I don't understand how this generates any business for them at all - if that's what they're trying to do?

I ventured onto a forum one day, It was themed very much in a Nintendo way. Filled, it was, with people galore, About whom, i wanted to learn more. Then i met a guy called Meranda, Intriguing, articulate, glad he's not blander. He was glad to be here, interested in games, Much like a lot of us, (naming no names). I thought perhaps we could be friends, My boring life, he could well cleanse. Then, as I though of nicknames I could choose, He brought up shitty, motherfucking shoes.

Ha! No, it is Torre Argentina, as in, it is the whole square. There is a large area of old Roman ruins in the centre of the square, and the hundreds of cats roam around on them, and get fed by tourists. You shouldn't have trouble finding them! I think there is a building which houses the actual sanctuary, where you can go in and make a donation, but it was closed when we went.

Was he talking to me?

I could not hear your friends (apart from i think i heard Claire (?) through your mic, but she was too quiet to hear. I think it is a setting that you have to turn on - i.e do you want to be able to hear everyone, or only friends. I tried turning mine on, but it didn't do anything. Perhaps they had to as well, or you had to restart after changing it..... Anyway good game, good game, as Brucie would no doubt say.

Yeah villa borghese is on a hill, so you get some awesome views out over Rome. Not really sure about food, I was always after the cheapest available so I can't comment. There were a lot of places to eat around a couple of public squares though. When i'm not on my phone i'll look them up for you. Edit: Piazza Navona is one, and i think Campo De Fiori is another. Both have lots of restaurants and cafes. Also, if you like cats (who doesn't) there's a bizarre cat sanctuary in the middle of Rome, where hundreds of cats just wander around this square - it's in Torre Argentina.

Rome is awesome. If you're looking to meet people, find one of the random walking tours that does a loop of the central touristy things (look for someone with an umberella/toy tied to a stick etc) and i'm sure you'll meet some people there! Pro tip: Try going to the big park (i think it's called Villa Borghese) to the north. It's a nice place to wander around and see some pretty views. PLus in the summer they had bikes/golf carts/segways to rent which was awesome. Not sure if they'll have them in Feb though....

Happy Birthday Monsieuer. May you get a card covered in crude penis drawings.

@Rummy I was confused because i didn't have a headset, and so could barely hear you. I was further confused because you could somehow hear me. Then i realised it was the Kinect microphone! Anywho, without a headset you are very quiet. I shall have to see if i can find my headset for next time.

Xpert 11 Season 26: Space to move, Space to breath, Space to win
bob replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Ha! What's the record for biggest win margin? Could we maybe put the list of teams and their respective forum managers in the first post like last season? I can't possibly be expected to remember them all. -
My dad came up with what he thinks is a 'genius' idea where all players are forced to wear 'slippy' silky gloves that prevent them being able to hold onto each others shirts. I don't imagine FIFA will ever agree to that...

I don't think Tesco Value Bolognase has ever been accused of being 'delicious'....

Oh that's what the 'N' in N-Europe stands for! I did wonder. It makes no difference to me since i only view the forum by 'new posts' and therefore miss what subforums they're posted in.

I'd say mustard rather than marmite. But there are benefits to having a car that colour (which probably don't balance the downside of it having crappy resale value), my mum had a VW Passat in that colour, and it was always really easy to find it in a busy carpark!

A friend told me there's a version of that case that actually travels along a small section of track on your desk. Worth it surely?

The Great Thread About Walking on Stairs: One Step Downwards, Two Steps Up.
bob replied to bob's topic in General Chit Chat
I'm not sure about this threadrip....it makes me look like some sort of stairs lunatic. Anyway, back to interesting stairs stories. The other day i was wearing some new shoes and took the stairs (obviously!) but these new shoes had a slightly different heel to my old pair, and therefore i found myself tumbling forward after having tripped by not quite clearing one of the stairs. Luckily there was no-one else around, and i was able to quickly scurry up the rest of the flight and bundle to safety. I read somewhere that an individual step only has to be a fraction of an inch higher than it's fellow step brethren to trip people up. -
I understand that there is a line that has to be drawn, in order to differentiate between legal and illegal tackles, but i think the line has been drawn on the wrong side of 'contact'. If the contact isn't enough to make you fall over, it isn't a foul.
