I just thought I'd share this with the boards, some of you will most likely want to try it! Sunday night in a bar in Belfast saw a few of us attempting this fuckin vicious, vicious drink, and of the 4 people who drank them, 2 ended up boking their rings up, and I couldn't walk or speak properly. Mind you this was after 3 of the things, on top of 3 pints. THE IRISH CARBOMB For anyone who wishes to try one of these things, if the bar staff haven't heard of them, here's the order: - Half a pint of Guinness in a pint glass - 1x shot of Jameson whiskey and 1x shot of Bailey's Irish Cream together in another glass. Bring said drinks to the table. Pour the whiskey/Bailey's into the pint glass and drink the whole thing at once quickly, don't hesitate or it curdles. Repeat as desired. You will have a splendid evening, that's assured, but you will wake up the next morning and your mouth will taste like the sole of Ghandi's flipflop. Be warned. Finland had one of those songs that are just too good for Eurovision, just like Rock 'n' Roll Kids did. It's not my sort of music but I can see why everyone wanted it to win. Well done for breaking the point record Finland, that was great, I believe it was held by the Brits with Katrina & The Waves until now (that was a great song too). So Ireland now has 3rd place in the the point record lol you bastards We'll be back next year when RTÉ churn out another shite song. Oh how I wish we could find those Rock 'n' Roll days again.

Rock 'n' Roll Kids is my favourite song ever, it was always too good for a Eurovision entry. Well at least we won with it and really overly destroyed every other country that year - 1994 I believe

Who's your favourite? Who do you think will come out tops? Obviously Ireland is my favourite but I don't think Brian can save us from the drought we've suffered. It's not a bad song, but the likes of Sweden and Finland are more likely to score higher. Ah well, always next year. The good thing about being Irish but technically in the UK, is we can vote for ourselves - ever wondered why the UK gives so many votes to Ireland?? It's all the Paddys voting from the north, I'm sure of it! Have to say, I don't rate the UK entry this year, not one of your better songs!

I'd predict that GameCube games on Wii will look and play no different than they would on a GameCube, even if you're using a component cable.

Gamespot's the one to go for - $2.95 for a month, high def/high res downloads and a 700k stream exclusive to subscribers. I watched the conference last year on IGN's insider stream and the quality was great, so I expect no less from Gamespot.

A HD video of anything would be great...I hope HD videos of game footage are released so I can put my $2.95 to good use Metroid Prime 3 in 720p anyone?

Sony tomorrow, Nintendo and Microsoft on Tuesday. I don't think other developers or publishers hold conferences...do they??

If it's possible I'll post the 700k stream link from Gamespot on the boards when the times comes. I dunno if it'll work but it'll be worth the try anyway!

Gamespot E3 Live are providing free 100k and 300k live streams for everyone, which will most likely be clogged up to the hilt with half the globe watching, and a free low-res download of the conference afterwards. If you subscribe (for about £1.60 a month) you get 300k and 700k streams of the conference and high-res downloads of everything on offer, but to be honest I'm hard pressed to differentiate between 300k and 700k, even at fullscreen. 700k will probably be more stable I suppose.

Done - I subscribed to Gamespot+! For £1.56 (according to xe.com ) that's not fuckin bad for all the HD and exclusive trailers to be downloaded this E3, not even including the 700k conference stream

The only thing is, you can nearly be guaranteed that all those free streams will be badly clogged up with traffic, even moreso than other years in the past - this is the big one for Nintendo. I might subscribe to IGN or GameSpot for front row seats.

Oh Jesus that screenshot looks fuckin pish! At least Red Steel looked good in scans, this looks like something the GameCube could be pushed to do!

Sorry if this has been discussed or confirmed before, but where is everyone watching the Nintendo conference this Tuesday night? Are any of the IGN insiders prepared to post the streaming video link?
