  1. Thank god my avatar is based on Wind Waker's King of Hyrule...that king looks like the campest thing to ever hit Hyrule. I'm sure he's into feasting alright.
  2. Revolution compilation clips, game demos, Zelda info, and of course Reggie's speech
  3. Personally my favourite to wear is Blue Jeans by Versace, ladies seem to really dig it. I've ordered Green Irish Tweed by Creed which is supposed to be a really unforgettable scent (in a good way I hope!) and I'm just waiting on it to arrive. Any thoughts?
  4. Typical Irish humour: This oul fella is sitting up at the bar, beating the Guinness into him all night. Closing time comes and he's still pinting away, and the barman says, "Right Mick, closin' time, out the fuck!" "Fack aaaff, another fuughckin' Guinness now..." "No way, I'll get you a taxi now and that's that." So the taxi arrives, and your man falls clean off his stool. The bar staff help him to the taxi and he stumbles into the back seat and mumbles his address to the driver. So they arrive at his house, opens the door, and he falls straight out of the taxi onto the ground, and crawls up to his front door. He attempts to straighten up and leans up against the door and puts the key in, with great difficulty. The door opens, and he falls clean on his face again, crawls up the stairs and into bed. The next morning he's woken up to the cursing and shouting of his wife, who's belting him over the head with the Irish News. "You were drinkin' again last night, weren't you, you bastard!" she roars. "What are you on about woman, I wasn't drinkin'!" "Yes you were, don't you lie to me!" as she whacks him again. "How would you know anyway?!" "The bar rang - you left your fuckin' wheelchair behind!"
  5. Hmm...maybe I should post my collection of Zelda stuff to make you drool lol it's actually an insane amount of stuff
  6. Here's a question for the DVD and HD experts - I have a HDRPTV and I'd like to use the high definition output to its full potential; if I buy a DVD player that upscales 480i content to 720p/1080i/1080p, will I be getting true HD output to the Tv, and will it look like it should?
  7. Lol I'd be here all night if I took photos of the stuff I've collected over the years - it's a serious amount...
  8. Wow...that is really freakishly relevant to this idea of displacement mapping etc
  9. Great stuff, this would completely reassure me about Rev's visuals.
  10. Looks good, but anyone skilled in Photoshop or animation could do that. I remember seeing a wallpaper of homemade models of the 4 different Morphball types, and the one in this pic looks very like the one I saw on the wallpaper. I'll post it if I find it, but I think it was on http://www.samus.co.uk
  11. Material encoded in Dolby Pro Logic II will sound fine in a Pro Logic amp, but it will only be monaural surround sound (ie., the rear speakers use the same signal). If you run a Pro Logic II signal through a DPII amp, you get the full stereo surround sound intended.
  12. I know the best way to get a good terrestrial picture on your TV is to use an aerial on your roof, but the two TVs downstairs in my house already uses that method. I was wondering if there were any effective ways of getting just as good a picture, by using one of those wireless radio transfer devices? I want to buy a Freeview set but I don't have a good enough aerial connection - try using one of those indoor loop aerials on a 42" TV So to use a Freeview box, I take it I have to have a physically stable signal through it?
  13. It's her hand, but it ain't an engagement ring! Jesus don't put me there already
  14. Lol Cube fairly got a bashing here. I'd love to go for a 42" LCD TV but they're BIG money. In saying that, for the price Cube spent on a 37" plasma, you could have bought an LCD for the same size, maybe bigger. I have a 42" RPTV but an LCD at that size would just blow you away in HD.
  15. Lol yeah that's my girlfriend in the pics, except the last one which is my mammoth Guinness slippers.
  16. Fudge was my idea but she loved it and called him it
  17. Purely to get you all awwwwwwing uncontrollably, I've posted a few pics of Fudge, the puppy I just bought my girlfriend for Christmas. PS - Those Guinness slippers are HUGE, they aren't really the size of my feet underneath lol
  18. I've always wondered what GCN games would look like on a PC monitor - I have a 42" RPTV and they look great in Progressive Scan but I'm sure they'd be even better on an LCD monitor.
  19. I've never had any other console but Nintendo's, but if anything I would consider a PS3 to sit alongside my Rev, but sorry, never an Xbox360. Just doesn't appeal to me.
  20. Northern Ireland my balls, it's Ireland or nothing.
  21. *Stands and applauds*
  22. Speaking of burn-in, the PCs in school are so badly burned-in you can clearly see the ghost of the logon screen all the time, and that's after weeks of staying on.
  23. Lol yeah but this problem applies to any big TV.
  24. That's only a precaution from videogame companies in case you banjax your TV. In other words, it's their way of saying "Don't say we didn't warn you." If you're careful with your TV nothing will go wrong. I've had this TV a year and constantly game on it, no problems at all.
