  1. 2 was brilliant. I cant really decide which I disliked more though, 1 or 3. Probably liked 3 the least I guess.
  2. I think I still prefer the original Persona 4 intro myself
  3. As im back I figured id let you guys know where I currently am with comics. At the moment im pretty much burnt out on both Marvel and DC. I havent really enjoyed much from either since their two big relaunches. Probably the only comics from them I still read and enjoy are Ultimate Spider-Man, New X-Men and Smallville. Maybe Batgirl as well.
  4. Started my New Game+ on this the other day. One of my favourite ever games I'd say. Im looking forward to finally getting Persona 4 Arena in May and carrying on the story.
  5. Quick message just to say that I'll be back posting on the forums. I dont really regret leaving for a while as the attitude and my own general feelings towards NE were getting very negative but I still have friends here that I'd like to talk to more so I figured I would come back and see how it went. That and of course its hard to worm yourselves into other communities. I also post on the Giant Bomb forums and I doubt many of them would remember who I am a few seconds after reading my posts.
  6. I cant really be arsed anymore anyway. I'll admit, I dont really like you Jay, I think you talk down to people on here way too often and I think you have been doing it to me in this thread for absolutely no reason. As for NE, I think im done. As Goafer said its just not a nice place to be and while this is going to seem like a stupid thing to leave over, its not really this, I just dont like NE anymore and its simple stuff like this thats proving it to me. Most of the people I enjoy talking to I can do elsewhere so I dont see the point in coming back to a forum that time and time again just gets me wound up reading posts instead of enjoying them. Others who I dont just add me on twitter or Steam or something if you wanna talk.
  7. Ah right thanks, I wont bother bringing them up on the map anyway, more fun this way. Dont know about anyone else but thats something ive found with this gens open world games, I dont learn the cities like I did with GTAIII and Vice City (less so with San Andreas). Thats probably mostly down to the GPS but with Sleeping Dogs im recognising more areas just thanks to driving around looking for the collectables.
  8. I think I had just mostly forgotten how it was like that. I started off with singles but soon move to exclusively buying trades to save room. Now that ive switched over to digital comics im back on singles and remembering just how bad things were back then. I dont think I can be bothered either to get copies of all the tie ins so I'll just have to live with it. Still, it is nice to be reading the X-Men during their blue and gold era costumes, especially Cyclops, this was my favourite costume for him.
  9. You meet 4 girls while playing through the story and if you ring them up after and take them out the reward will be the lock boxes showing up in their specific part of the map. Thats only the minimap though so when you are close to one it will show up but you cant see them when you bring up the full map. I quite like it that way, means you arent looking around forever but also you cant just drive straight from box to box.
  10. I just dont really know how to reply to that post. Im not asking for the thanks button to be removed, im not blaming it for all the problems the forum has. It was simply a thought I had that I thought I would post and the only reason I carried on with defending it was that people came out with some odd (to me anyway with regards to keeping conversations going) replies.
  11. Got around to updating my Backloggery account again, I need to try and keep it going this time.
  12. If the thanks was not there, the conversation may have been furthered, it may not. All I was saying is that it could just be an easier alternative to replying which may not be a good thing and I do think in a way you can blame the "effort-relieving tools" for just that.
  13. Visitor message wouldnt exactly help with conversation and having others join in and yes tagging him would help, its still not exactly brilliant. The double posting rule being as long as it is doesnt help either. I understand needing to stop spam but anything over an hour seems overkill to me. All I am saying is that I dont think they help keep conversations going in certain situations, im not asking for them to be removed or anything.
  14. Which means I would have to wait 12 hours or whatever the time is to be able to add a new post to that thread.
  15. Ok then, another example from the same thread and same person. I made a post which had 2 or 3 separate points made in it about different comics. ReZ thanked it, I didnt know which thing he was thanking or agreeing with.
  16. Well my example at the moment would be from the comics thread. I posted about something I was reading and got a thanks from ReZ and while its nice to get your post acknowledged thats not really why I post. Yes it works well in the Funny thread but that doesnt mean it works well everywhere else.
  17. Does anyone else think that the "Thanks" button could be a contributing factor to less activity? Ive noticed that sometimes i'll post something, it'll get a thanks but no proper reply so while someone has acknowledged the post you dont really get a chance to start up a conversation through it. I know weve had the Thanks button for quite a while now so its obviously not the main reason but personally im starting to think that it doesnt help the matter.
  18. I had forgotten just how often X-Men comics in the 90s crossed over with each other, as I said before I'm reading Uncanny #300ish onwards and it feels like every other issue is supposed to continue on in another book. I know it still happens now but its at least mostly relegated to X-Men events. It would be nice to know why Wolverine went all feral or how Cyclops survived falling into a massive hole lol.
  19. Thats good then if I can get it for Vita. I never played 999 but I always heard good things about it.
  20. Thats Nintendo only isnt it? If so then no, I dont have any Nintendo stuff anymore.
  21. Yeah unless we get an announcement before November for the EU release then I'm planning on importing it. The only bonus I've seen so far for the US release is the same Vita covers that Japan got. Will hopefully get Persona 4 Arena next month as well.
  22. Just completed the main story, think it took me about just under 14 hours overall but I still have side missions to mess about with and just the fun of driving around the city. Plus with the social leaderboards it gives me a bit more incentive to keep playing to beat other peoples high speed/clean driving etc records. I thought they did a great job with the city, felt much more interesting having it set somewhere other than the US. The story overall was good but I think in the end it could have used just a bit more direction when it came to motivations and villains.
  23. Well Star Wars tends to be classed as Science Fantasy anyway doesnt it. Doctor Who probably leans more towards that end Id say.
