Happenstance

Ive only really recently even noticed these games, I think I always saw the title and associated it with Winning Eleven instead for some reason. Anyway, would it be best to go back and play the first two before getting 3 or should I just jump straight into the 3DS one? Preferably I would want to get the 1-3 collection obviously but I couldnt find any info on a Western release and I was thinking about playing on of these at Extra Life.

Rummy ended up convincing me and Ville to do the Wall of Flesh early so we're now in hard mode. I think all of us would like to do it a couple of times though to get more loot and we've got more than enough Voodoo dolls so we can still do it again tonight if you want.

In this weird fictitious world we are creating I would kind of like this split to occur. PS4/Xbox One/PC still going for their market but then maybe Indie developers and other nostalgic devs starting to make games for the SNES 2 and Mega Drive 2 (or Mega Drive 4 I guess?).

Ive just finished doing a bit more upgrading and finally found a shadow key for the chests in hell. When the server is back up I'll make a chest specifically for all the weapons I found today so if anyone needs to upgrade then just take what you want. I'll also put my old shadow armour in the armour chest.

I do want to get it now but having just paid for my PS4 I cant really afford it so I think it will either be a Christmas present or I'll buy it next year.

@Daft's comment in another thread about Nintendo not really having left the 90s got me thinking about this. First of all this is merely a hypothetical thread so we dont need any arguments about the Wii U as its not a factor. I just want to know what people think would happen if Nintendo just said "fuck it" and decided to go back to 2D and launched a kind of SNES 2. Would there be a market for this kind of thing beyond Nintendo fans and others nostalgic for that age in gaming?

Im in hell at the moment in my single player trying to get as much hellstone as i can and also killing voodoo demons as they drop the demon scythe magic book which is apparently really good for the wall of flesh Never did manage to find a Demon Scythe but I do now have full Molten armour along with a Molten Fury Sword, Phoenix Blaster gun and a Thorn Chakram as backup so I think im ready for the Wall of Flesh now.

I think rocketboots and grapple are pretty important along with a strong ranged weapon. Im ready whenever everyone else is to give it a try. I didnt do too badly last time, only dying because I got crushed instead of too much damage.

I was just always waiting for an HD remake of 8 to come to the PSN, its the only one I really wanted to play again.

The one thing that I think we could still use is some of the more powerful guns that you can get before hard mode. They can be really helpful when taking on the wall of flesh. Something like the Phoenix Blaster.

I have the triple hook and the blade of grass after my own jungle adventures over the weekend, also donated some jungle seeds for the cause.

Its been a while since I played Nintendo Land so forgive me if Im wrong here but didnt some of the games have just LOOK AT GAMEPAD on the tv during entire sequences? It seemed like more work should have been put into those ones to show off any potential this new system would have. I think the egg minecart one did it much better, having the zoomed out view on the TV to see the whole scope of the level. Of course though I have seen the complaints that use of the TV and the tablet splits your focus too much, having to go from one to the other too often and I think that can be a valid complaint.

Are we any closer to attempting the wall of flesh again yet? Last thing I did was covering the lava to the right of our hole so we have a good distance to run.

I think it'll be best if we kick out those guys and force them to create their own NE 3rd and 1st year teams.

For me the building in Terraria isnt what I play for at all, Im just always in search of my next bit of loot. Minecraft is the game I play to build stuff.

There is no first and third ones, dont be a smart arse :P Sleeping Dogs isnt True Crime anymore.
