Played an hour or so of Trail in the Sky earlier. Slow start so far so I don't have much of an opinion but I did want to say that I love the environment art style. The characters themselves not so much but the rotating environments are really nice.

Crisis on Infinite Earths starts on Sunday in America. It's looking like it should be an amazing event but we've been screwed over here in the UK because nobody is airing Batwoman so part of the event will just be missing for us. There seem to be rumours going around that because it's a new show it wasnt shopped around to the UK straight away to avoid losing streaming rights once their service launches.

I do hope we go back to Bond movies being a bit more fun once Daniel Craig is gone. I haven't liked any of his movies.

Makes you hope that could indicate some kind of collection coming at some point but as we know with things like Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U, unfortunately that's not always the case. Looking into the series it looks like the unreleased ones have pretty good fan translations so I'm happy enough that I'll be able to work my way through all of them if I enjoy this first one.

I'll put this in here even though some of the series is current. Finally getting around to trying out the Legend of Heroes series. I'd always heard they were great RPGs and bought Trails in the Sky years ago on pc but never got around to playing it. Noticed the later ones on sale on the PSN today and thought they looked interesting so figured this was a good time to go back to that first one. Anyone else played them?

I tend to prefer shorter games these days but it completely depends on how invested in the world/game I am. Games like Persona 4 or (completely the opposite to you bob) The Witcher 3 kept me so interested that I was happy to keep playing. I don't necessarily have time to play the longer games anymore but if one really sucks me in then I'll tend to get lost in it for hours (a rarity for me these days).

I wonder if MS will try to include voice commands again. They were obviously interested in it with various Kinects and we've hit a point now where the technology is actually reliable with Alexa etc. Feels like they were just a few years early with their own tech.

The only games I'd want for it would be the old wrasslin games as thats basically all my N64 was used for back then and we know the rights for those will be a mess so theres no way I'd be getting the N64 mini I would want anyway.

Hmmm, I don't really see that as a reason not to release one. I can see them releasing one with 2 controllers and then make other controllers available to buy. These things sell so well that they'd know there would already be a shit load of controllers out there to bring round a friends house to play 4 player. It may never come out but I just don't think worry about not providing 4 player easily would be the reason why.
