Happenstance

I thought about getting a nice microphone for video calls, but then i realised that i wouldn't get the benefit of it, and that it's other people who need to buy one, not me. Lol, that’s a very good point. The only thing I can think is that if you work with clients etc then you come across as more professional. I on the other hand should see a lot from it when I start my new YouTube channel where I rap the alphabet to kids.

Final bits for my PC (other than maybe a new webcam but that can wait until prices and stock go back to normal). I was originally just gonna use my new headset for a microphone but I do think that businesses are going to start to shift more towards video calls going forward after seeing how well it's been working for people during the lockdown so I'd like to have a better setup now.

Interesting that the above post was my last on this. Found myself tempted to replay Zero again (I never did get around to it after that post) despite having 2-5 still waiting to be played. I think I’ll buy it again on Steam as it’s on sale. Apparently it looks really good on ultrawide monitors.

I mean Nintendo continued to put out underpowered consoles with extremely poor online services at a time where that was taking off and they suffered for it. It’s also been rumoured for a long time that Nintendo were hard to work with when it came to third parties after the SNES. Third parties just want to make money, they aren’t going to drop whole generations of consoles unless there are actual reasons, some of which people have already stated in this thread.

The Switch is basically an Animal Crossing machine for me at this point. I was very close to selling it last year.

You can plant up to a bag of 10,000. Click A on your funds and it will give you options on how much you want to split out into your inventory. Choose the 10,000 that bury that bag.

I’m still upset they limited the money trees to 10,000 (dunno what game they did that in. Putting the max amount of money in those in the original game was my main money maker.

So it looks like a dev build of Last of Us II was leaked onto Youtube overnight so if you are wanting to stay spoiler free maybe log off the internet for the next few months.

Finally signed up for the 7 day trial yesterday. The Xbox One app is terrible. Crashed on me 3 times and was pretty laggy. Rewatched some Mandalorian episodes but I dunno what else I would really get into that I haven't already seen. Doubt i'll carry on past the 7 days.
