    Made sure I went out for my ride just after 7am today to avoid the heat. I can barely function just sitting around in the heat doing nothing, there’s no way I could manage riding in 30°.

    Did 9.2 miles today which is just under my commute distance so I’m happy that I’ll be able to get to work when I finally go back. I’d forgotten just how steep the hill outside my village is though. Even on full assist from the motor I thought I was gonna have to walk the end (thankfully I didn’t let myself). Got around to stopping to take a photo of the bike as well this time:

    Well todays ride in the rain has definitely confirmed to me that I need mudguards!

    It tricks the sensors into believing they are in love which then means they cannot pay attention to their jobs because they are constantly humming love songs to themselves.

    First test ride on the e-bike finished. It’s pretty great! Definitely doesn’t do all the work for you, even on full power which is good. Might take it out again later once my legs have recovered 😆

    Ha yeah, made sure I checked the charger. The delivery driver said he had another 2 bikes to deliver today, both to the same woman so he’s wondering if it’s happened again. I did ask Halfords if they fancied letting me keep the second bike but they didn’t answer 😆

    Weird update to the bike story. A second bike was just delivered to my house! Halfords have agreed to let me steal the charger from this second bike and we are just trying to figure out how to return the bike itself.

    E-bike arrived earlier so I decided to take it out for a test ride without the battery round the village. I’m so knackered now 😆 It didn’t help though that I couldn’t figure out how to change the gears until I got home so I was stuck in 1st the entire way.

    PC Gaming Show is live in 5 minutes is interested in watching. Keeping my fingers crossed for my Persona announcements!

    Got my e-bike arriving next week. Probably been about 20 years since I last went for a ride so I'm quite looking forward to it. The plan at the moment is to mainly use the boost modes for the hills around here and for when I occasionally have no ride to work, otherwise I'll try to use the bike as usual and hopefully start to lose a bit of weight.
