Couple of good PS4 deals on Amazon today. Ace Combat 7 for £11 and Hitman 2 for £8.

It’s on YouTube split into multiple videos if you want to watch it. I don’t think it was ever released for purchase.

Oh yeah the soundtrack is incredible. Watched this today with my good headphones on so I got all the umph. I expect I’ll get ET at some point but as I’ve seen it so many times over the years it’s not as high on my list. I am really in a sci-fi movie mood now though. Youve probably never seen it (not many have as it was just a TV movie) but have you heard of Alien Abduction: The McPherson Tape (or “Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County” depending on the country)? It’s based on the same alien story Spielberg based the kids abduction in Close Encounters on and Signs is based on. It’s surprisingly creepy given its low budget. It was one of the first “found footage” movies and there were rumours for years that it was real. One that @Goafer and I always enjoy.

Just got finished watching it. Looked great in 4k with the HDR making the various lights in that movie really pop. I'd love to see a remake of that movie with the exact same events but from the aliens perspective. We'd get to see them worrying about explaining all the kidnappings, the gangly alien moaning that they still hadn't widened the ship's entrance for him and the alien inside the ship rocking out on their keyboard as they attempt to communicate 😂

I wonder what they’ll move onto next.

Carried on with the 4K collection. 3 for £30 in Zoom’s sale and then Blade Runner was discounted on Amazon.

So annoying hearing about changes at work that are being planned which will cost loads to re-cable rooms etc and while I know it’s not directly connected I still can’t help but sit here feeling annoyed that I and others have been furloughed for months not getting our full pay yet they still make all these stupid choices that are basically being funded by the money they saved not paying us.

The creator has confirmed that it’s just an issue with the age rating on the store and he’s currently working with Sony to get it back up.

Was looking at my Yakuza collection earlier and how much it’s worth these days. Yakuza 2 on PS2 used to sell for around £70 but these days people don’t seem to be biting at £35. The remakes and remasters really dented the values. Thankfully I wasn’t planning on selling them so there isn’t an issue but still....poor Yakuza 2.

Been years since I last watched it so I’m looking forward to seeing it again.

Yeah I watched Kingsglaive when it came out. I think I enjoyed it at the time but I don’t remember a lot about it.

Thought that was a massive dud of a stream. Nothing I really want to play.

Completing FFVIIR really put me in the mood to watch Advent Children again. I’ve got it on dvd but never did watch the complete edition that got released on blu ray so figured I would upgrade. Through in Close Encounters as it’s on sale and for some reason I’ve never actually owned it.

I loved all of it

Finally got around to completing the game. I absolutely loved it! I need the next one now! Currently sitting watching the credits and listening to the music. Makes me even sadder that the concert got postponed this year.

Day 23 - Licensed Video Game I'll have to go the same as @Cube here and say Star Trek Bridge Commander. I spent hours playing that game when I was younger, mostly just in the skirmish mode battling different ships. As Cube mentioned the modding scene for it was great as well, my favourite being the Stargate packs. We desperately need more Star Trek games like this.
