When I was that young, not comprehending text didn't stop me from enjoying so many games of the SNES era. From Zelda to Final Fantasy to Castlevania I enjoyed them despite my ignorance. Mind you, it's a lot harder to play without knowing a whole lot but I could still get to end game.

Stupid me, you can manually adjust the volume of the voices and turn them off. They are much worse than Baten Kaitos which I actually found to be alright.

Waxing the nuts would have to be done by a doctor, so they could administer some anesthetic. And maybe some Morphine.

Cake is yum. For my last birthday I had delicious Dark Chocolate cake with Vanilla frosting...only because my mother wouldn't allow me to have Chocolate frosting (or get the Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownies. She's not a fan of Dark Chocolate...) My sister made a cake with Orange flavoring added to it, it tasted excellent.

Go through the map again to get rid of the ?????. I think they're drop percentages for the items found. Of course you can't find a Treasure map twice though so it having 100% threw me at first.

Shogum didn't give me as much trouble as I was expecting although he insta-killed my Gladiator (who was waaaay under powered for the fight) so I took him with Warrior Priest Thief.

I prefer normal priests... The Paladin is not a Glorified Priest at all. He's a tank through and through. The Priest easily out heals what the Paladin can do and has larger MP reserves. The Paladin however has a really high Defense, and learns Kabuff quite early (my Priest is almost lvl50 and still only knows Buff). As for the assumption about Shiren the Wanderer and Etrian Odyssey...if I could find the games, even used, I'd likely be fans. Alas I merely have a small DS collection of Pokemon and Dragon Quest.

I think LE's are often overpriced for the content they deliver. GTA IV had nice collectibles that are also functional. I've only been swayed by two Limited Editions, Fallout 3 (because I love Fallout) and Fallout New Vegas, because everything in that CE looks immensely awesome (A deck of cards! and Graphic Novel!). I haven't seen anything else to be worth it.

Well now I really want to finish the main quest off. I've been lolly gaggin about leveling other vocations and doing sidequests. What was your finish time for DQ IX? I'm up to 65-66 hours now. (The last RPG I put this kinda of time into was Pokemon Platinum and to date that's only a bit over 80 (I saved at 80 exactly just after catching Dalgia/Palkia)) As an aside, I realized today that all the DS games I own only have single save slots.

I find that hot water with some honey in it works wonders for sore throats. Earlier this year I lost my voice for about a week, except after drinking warm water I could talk for a bit then I'd lose it again. Currently I caught whatever my mom had/has and I'm getting stuffed up. Haven't started coughing yet, but I'm sure I will soon.
