Hello Everyone. It's come to my attention that I could acquire some savings that I didn't think I could acquire yet. It's not such a large sum that it would make much impact on a house deposit, but it would make my life a lot easier and happier if I had a more capable, faster and quieter computer. I've done a lot of Googling, and find myself in a confused situation. When searching for "video editing PC" theres a lot of help, but not many actual...buy places. HP Z1 G2 (or whatever it's called) looks incredible but it's too expensive. I'm looking in the £800 - £1,300 kind of price range. Obviously, I know building one will be a lot cheaper. However I don't know HOW much cheaper. Also, I am overwhelmingly in too deep when it comes to considering building my own PC....I literally wouldn't know where to start when it comes to putting it together. It's such a large amount of money, I don't want to fuck it up. Is it easy to fuck up? I'd rather by built (but still open to the idea of building myself...just need re-assurance, tips and advice), but yeah built would be easier. I know I need a lot of RAM. I don't know what the next most important thing is....I read a lot of things about what I need, but I don't ACTUALLY know what they are. When things are listed as being "z80090 ghz" I have not idea what that stuff is. I've been told before that video editing is more intensive than gaming and that's cool. There are a lot of gaming systems to choose from it seems....would these kinds of machines still be suitable for video editing, provided the RAM is high enough? I would appreciate any and all help! Whut shud I d0?

Whaaay, I'm tellin' you guys, Saturday morning is the place to be on Destiny. You can easily find a group on LFGs and I seem to have consistently picked a group of chilled high Americans. Did a couple of runs this morning and hit the jackpot - Boots for Titan. Boots for Hunter. Swordbreaker. That means I can reach 32 on all characters and I think I have all normal mode weapons now. <3 <3 Just need....Scout Rifle, Necrobantz and Hand Cannon?

Hnnnnggggg. Is that helmet a Hunter one? Incredible. I think that means I can get all characters to 32. I think. Maybe not. Who knows. I should.

Man, I knew/thought/hoped this show would be good, but it's getting better and better. Clever, funny, dramatic and well written, often beautifully shot. Just like BB really.

The main thing for me has been and always will be the PVP. The Raids and weapons system is a (fantastic) added bonus. When I play games online, I usually do it for the competitiveness, that's where I get my main thrill. I played Halo 3 for about 18 months, then I moved onto Uncharted 2 for two years then Uncharted 3 for a similar time, and now I've been on this one. Yeah, that VOG hard mode we did last week was weird. It's not a difficult level, I can only think that the reason we struggled were the mongoloids we were with. At one point I looked around at one and he was just sitting down. Crota's End hard mode....I just...I don't think I find it fun. On Saturday morning, I went on, searched LFG and I played a Normal mode run with an American group and I fucking loved it. It was pretty funny, they wrote on LFG "Send a message if you're not a dick", so I messaged saying "I'm not a dick, invite me" and they did and then they said "This guy specifically said he's not a dick" and I said "Ah....yeah....about that" and it brought the house down. Major lulz. And the run itself was an absolute cake walk, but more importantly very, very fun. OH. I totally forgot....this happened.
