the main reason nintendo have not been fond of demo's before is that their consoles games were played throught carts and that alone increased the game prices for the N64, so back then demo's would of been out of the question, as the GC was released alot of magazines were releasing DVD's of fottage and some demos around, and this time around they could just give us coupons for download content from Nintendo, im pretty sure nintendo will let that happen for a share of the profit :P

and youve seen Nintys E3 conference, Iwata / Shiggy / Reggie / Winner of AOL Compo - they were having so much fun playing it and i wished i was up there playing it with them, tiring or not, it will defo be worth it

looking at games such as Red Steel and Pokemon, that is the satisfactory level of gfx in my eyes, i mean, you can only add more Shaders / Textures / Shadows to make them better, this next gen is a more Shiney approach on gfx which is why i think alot of games are looking taccy recently and when are trying to be realistc, are just not pulling it off

Itunes i think was the innotive thing about Ipod, being able to buy tracks online and ahve them on the go, good idea, and a defo moneymaker, now with the Ipod Video, they are selling television series and stuff, so ipod also helped the UMD to flop, and the fact UMD wasnt advertised that much was possibly another reason, but yea sony are copycats, i mnean look, there acting like nintendo in the N64 era, arrogent and cockey with high dev costs
