Bloody hell again? Ok let me address this "test" situation thing since it now seems to be growing legs even though Cube and Kav have put it behind them The original post was just a simple suggestion that a Nintendo game should be considered "Game of the Generation" rather than a Sony game which what was already being discussed. The post itself was not antagonising, but a mod (Cube) did delete it because he felt given who the poster was and knowing said person has had many arguments in the past with the people already discussing in that thread, Cube felt the post would become a starting point for another argument, not because of the post content but because or the people involved, which he wanted to prevent before it started. Sad situation yes but this is unfortunately the atmosphere we have now. Kav then reposted the same and it was left because he had not been involved in many arguments so Cube felt his post would be less of a "target" so to speak. Now the people involved have put that behind them I suggest everyone else do the same. As for this thread, honestly I just can't believe how we keep having this same mess repeat over and over. After an incident has finished I like hope we as a forum will then move on and learn from the past but everytime my hopes remain but hopes. I used to refer to this place as my "Online Home", I still do but it feels more like a Broken Home where siblings would rather stab each other than try work out differences now. All this continued bickering is just driving away potential new members, honestly if I wasn't a member here and was looking in considering joining I probably wouldn't. And it's driving some people away, we are losing members and shrinking as a community rather than growing. It isn't down to any one person or any one "side", it's both. I've seen terms like "Sony Defence Club" or whatever tossed around which might be an accurate assesment of some people but it does feel like there is a "Nintendo Defence Club" too, on either side if something negetive is said about one there are people who feel the need to defend their chosen brand and it is detroying this place. Remember this, this site is run by volunteers, the mods and admins on the forums, volunteers, the writing staff on the mainsite volunteers. The only money the site makes is used to pay for server costs and keeping this place online. No one single member of staff gains financially from this place not even Ashley who runs this place. We've had people leave staff because they just haven't been happy with the way the community has gone and ultimately I can see us losing more if it continues and wouldn't be surprised it caused the site to just shut down one day because the staff felt it wasn't worth taking time out of their own personal lives anymore trying to watch over this place because it just devolves into such mind numbing bickering. I'm fucking typing this shit while trying to feed my son his breakfast and get ready to bring my wife to the hospital for a checkup on our next baby due in a few weeks. I should be focusing on that but I feel I can't leave it till later cause who knows how many more pages of usless bickering will be here when I get back. I'm tempted to just lock the thread and leave it, but the original topic was a good one, it was a nice comparison and a nice flipping of a much wornout topic in an attempt to create some new discussion and maybe even get both "sides" a bit closer to being on the same page, yet once again it gets flipped over and we are back to the wornout crap again. Seriously what do people want from this place? Do the "Nintendo" fans want us to ban anyone who owns an "Other Console"? Do you want us to delete the Other Console boards and live ina bubble like only Nintendo make consoles? Do Sony/MS fans us to ban anyone who tries to be positive about Nintendo? Neither will happen. Everyone who is here originally joined because they were Nintendo fans EVERYONE. Just cause some have over the years gravitated more towards Sony or MS because they were not getting their full fill of gaming with just Nintendo does not mean they have any less right to be here. And yes Nintendo haven't been doing well so far with the Wii U, but do we really have to only focus on the negetive stuff? If there are positives to be found then lets talk about them. If someone enjoys playing their Wii U and doesn't want to own another console let them. There is no need to belittle anyones choice. Ultimately I know there are a few so called Sony fans who also own Wii U's too (maybe more than I'm aware of for all I know). Hell I know there is at least one person in the "Nintendo Camp" who has expressed interest in seeing Nintendo go 3rd Party after being disappointed initially with the Wii U. It all works both ways I don't know if this post makes any bloody sense as I'm just fed up right now, Christmas and a New Year are fast approaching, can we use this time to try and meet halfway on this bickering to try and keep threads on topic without digging up crap and devolving stuff so that we as a community can just move on and hopefully see a change in atmosphere that will help of grow again rather than shrink? This idea of battle lines and "Sides" is ridiculous and stupid, this whole notion of a "Console War" seems to be have been taken litterly and turned this forum into an episode of South Park. Ash made a post last week about what happened with the 3D World thread and posted some new guidelines, we've still been a bit cautious and giving some leeway but if people want mods to really start cracking down like police don't go moaning later when you think we are becoming too harsh. As has been said many times before being a member of this forum is a priveledge not a right and we need a lot more respect from EVEYONE for EVERYONE.

I don't think Nintendo would be too keen on the idea of having players kill Pokémon and carve them up for their body parts to be used as resources for making armour and weapons. Though I would like to see what a Pikachu Armour set would look like

Yeah Paul Schrier reprised the role of Bulk in PR: Samurai and PR: Super Samurai, always felt he was very forced in there as some fanservice and always seemed out of place given he had very little interaction with the ranger characters. Skull made a cameo in the very last ep of Super Samurai to pick up his son Spike who had been staying with "Uncle" Bulk... again that felt weird, Skull shows up in a Limo, appears to have made a fortune and just leave Bulks behind.

Am I the only one still watching this? Just finished the penultimate ep of the season, really enjoyed it. Nice bit of tension and some twists. Looking forward to next week to see how it ends. Was thinking though with the way the story has now gone and assuming the final ep goes how I hope it will, surely this would be the final episode with things coming full circle in a way. But I just spotted that it has indeed been renewed for a 4th season. Hard to see what could be done witha 4th season as all the main characters now seem to be coming to a decent end game scenario. Then again I thought the same at the penultimate ep of last season and they managed to come up with a hell of final twist to mix things up and give rise to this season which while it started poor has picked up a hell of alot from about ep 4 and been pretty good since

Had one on Wonderful101 (sans beep) but never on NintendoLand, WindWaker, Monster Hunter or Deus Ex ..... *touch wood*

Unfinished Marketing Teaser for Super Megaforce Don't know why they keep showing Megaforce merch though? Surely they should be showing the toyline for the Super Megaforce gear. Especially the Morpher. I assume they will milk the morpher for all it's worth and have all the different rangers keys sold seperately. Hopefully in packs based on shows. I got my son a Megaforce morpher for his Xmas gift this year.... he'll likely be getting the Super Megaforce one next Xmas, haha They're still showing clips of teh Dairangers suit in that promo also so it looking like they are gonna use them which is just weird. How will they explain it? I had a thought that maybe they'll say something like after Zordon made the White Ranger he was working on upgrading the powers of the other 5 Rangers, to bring them inline with the White Ranger but wasn't able to finish them before Master Vile destroyed the Power Coins which resulted in them turning to the Zeo Crystal for new and different powers. But somehow Gosei (the mentor for Megaforce who states he was a pupil of Zordon or something) was able to restore the power coins (explaining how Tommy can be Green Ranger) and also found the specs for the Dairanger upgrades?

Wow, my I got 2 groupings half right and and 1 grouping I got 3 out of 4 teams now that is unexpectidly AWESOME in my book :awesome: In my mock draw I had Portugal and USA in the same group (group A in my mock draw) And had Spain and Chile in the same group (Group G in my mock draw) Most impressive I the Real Group E I drew 3 out of 4 of the same teams for my Group C, I had Switzerland, Ecuador and Honduras all in the same group and they actual ended up in the same group, the difference being I drew out Russia to be with them but France ended up with them in teh real draw I'm pretty frakking cuffed with that, I'd call that a result, though at best I'd get one grouping half right but to get 2 half right grouping and 1 75% correct is way more than I expected. Anyway as for the real draw. I wasn't able to watch it live, does anyone know which European team was drawn out of Pot 4 and placed in Pot 2 at the start? The groups also look pretty hard to call, last World Cup I succesfully called 14 of the 16 teams to get out of the Groups (had an accumulator bet on all 16, so bloody close to winning like 250,000....gggrrrr) Will wait till closer the time and see what kind of form the teams are in when they start making their final preps. But going by Groups A Brazil should be one of the two but the other 3 are all very capable of making it too, that'll be a hard one for all involved and Brazil probably won't find it easy. Mexico I feel though could be teh weakest of teh 4. B Man I feel sorry for Australia, I'd really like to see them do well but this is a tough ask, Spain and Netherlands will prolly be favourites but I wouldn't discount Chile either. Would love to see the Socceroos pull off an upset though. C Possibly the most open group. Think all 4 teams have a good chance if they bring their A game. Columbia as seeds will prolly be favs to progress but I could see Japan and Ivory Coast possibly upsetting things, Greece is also a good chance of another dark horse tournament. D Could be a tough one for England I think. Italy underperformed at last World Cup (and were one of the 2 teams that cost me 250,000, bastards!) hard to imagine they would do the same two World Cups ina row and after having a great Euros two years ago they'll prolly be well up for this one. Uruguay should be the strongest but Costa Rica another potential dark horse, all first games will be crucial and could see Costa Rica pulling off a surprise draw vs Uruguay in their opening game. E Interesting group, Swiss are probably the seeded team everyone wanted and don't look the strongest in their group. On paper would seem France should get through but same happened in South Africa, I'm hoping same happens again F Argentina should should be one of the progessing teams, Bosnia&Herz will have a hard time, Nigeria on paper should be the 2nd team through but I'd like to Iran for some reason sqeeze in there. G This'll prolly be another tough one for all involved. Germany might seem the strongest but I wouldn't count out any of the other 3. Such a shame two of these four teams won't make the 2nd round H I would ike to see Korea and Algeria do well but at best I'd say only one of them will have a good chance of going through with one of the Europeans but Belgium and Russia might just be the two through. Looking forward to next summer

Just watched this video and thought it was pretty interesting. Nice theory that I've not heard before that the entire game is actually Link dealing with his own death. Narrator says that as you meet more NCPs and open new areas the NPCs manifest the 5 stages of the Kubler-Ross Model of Grief, could be a coincidence but given in Skyward Sword we;ve seen Nintendo make a whole temple (Ancient Cistern) follow some Buddhism story, it's possible they intentionally used this Model of Grief to build Majora's Mask (the idea of Link being dead for the whole thing may or may not have also been their intention. I really like the bit about the Elegry of Emptiness song towards the end and the bit bout the Hero's Shade So yeah just thought the vid was interesting and might be worth a discussion. Also really makes me want to play Majora's Mask again....damn wish Nintendo would hurry up and announce a remake for either Wii U or 3DS. Would slightly annoy me if I played it on my Wii VC (toos lazy to get my N64 from attic) and then they announced a remake after I finished it

I loved the 3D in this game, though yes it is playable just fine without it I thought the 3D effect gave it that extra bit of life, like the screen became a proper window into this world and I was a God looking down from on high

Is this happening to anyone else with Miiverse screens on a laptop... I wanted to post a screen here that I added to my Miiverse, normally I'd right-click then select Copy Image Location and work away. But noticed last night when right-clicking a screenshot in Miiverse now it doesn't give that option? Instead I had to view the page source and find in the html the url for the image I wanted
