Apparently there was a 30 minute stream late last night, around 6-8 hours ago, on the Pixel Remasters. Video seems to have been made private on YouTube since, but the biggest takeaway is that the first of the Pixel Remasters arrives in July. Also, more screens from each of the games: And a better look at some of the sprites: Still not a massive fan of the lighter coloured sprites but definitely looks better on Final Fantasy V than it does VI. I know people will point at how they looked on CRT's, and how this is closer to the true intent of the originals, but having played the SNES version of VI last year, it looks great as is and really doesn't need this done. It's your biggest IP, S-E. Give us some options to swap between this and the original colour palette and sprite work, and then bring them to consoles, you monsters. But to be clear, I'm not hoping for that, just bring this to consoles damn it.

Was finally able to catch up on the latest episode of The Bad Batch earlier today after a very hectic weekend.
-
Yeah, I wasn't confident at all that Mbappé would put his away. Just something in the air about it. A great penalty shootout. Brilliant night of football. France just didn't kill the game off, and their concentration lapsed in that final 10 minutes. But don't get me wrong: Switzerland deserved to go through just as much.
-
Penalties it is then. Cracking game. I know Benzema had to come off to protect him against potential injury, but Deschamps will be ruing taking Griezmann off, as he's been their usual penalty taker before this tournament. Really hope these penalties deliver some more excitement
-
Deschamps will be happy he held onto those subs. This France side seems to be struggling to see this 120 minutes through.
-
Crossbar from Coman after wonderful feet from Sissoko in the corner. Being a neutral is the best naturally this means tomorrow will be a boring 1-0 win for Germany against us
-
WHAT HAS TONIGHT BEEN?! This might be one of the single most enthralling nights in international football history. Another last minute equaliser. Can see Deschamps regretting bringing off Griezmann...
-
Oh my goodness, game on again. How many times is that today? Great day of football! France definitely took their foot off the pedal a bit there.

Bought the second Fighters Pass over the weekend as I had my brother over, had some good fun playing around with Sephiroth and Pyra/Mythra in particular. Look forward to digging into Kazuya with him next time I have him over As for the final fighter...am I the only one who wants to see the chaos that ensues when we find out that the final character is a sword-wielding, anime-styled Goomba?
-
Beautiful from Pogba. Shame he ruined it with the celebration but whatever
-
Well, never mind then. Not even two minutes later, France really turning it on, and now they're ahead. Great build-up play, that back heel from Mbappé was a beaut

The hoops I've had to jump through to catch the rest of this game...I'm currently having to watch it through a free trial to ITV Hub+ on Prime Video. Such a pain. But great timing, great goal by Benzema. Mind taking this to extra time please guys? I've missed the rest of it
-
Well, that's not a scoreline I imagine most of us expected to see tonight with Switzerland taking the lead. EDIT: funny thing is I had to tune in on my phone and just caught it as it loaded that match. ITV Hub app has been frozen in the corner in the 4th minute for a good 20 minutes or so now...

Insane match of football, great stuff. Hope Luis Enrique has learned his lesson tonight, for Spain's sake -- those substitutions towards the end of the second half very nearly cost them the game.
-
Of course it was Morata. Thunderous strike, absolutely deserved based on the rest of his game today!
-
Oh wow. Momentum was definitely swinging Croatia's way, but I wasn't expecting them to capitalise on it. Luis Enrique will be kicking his teeth right now with his substitutions, they're missing their strength. Koke is one hell of a fighter in midfield, Ferran Torres has been lethal up front, and Sarabia has perhaps been their best player in the tournament for them so far.
-
First impression was definitely that Spain somehow managed to keep that out, but that replay showed it was clearly well over. Thank goodness for goal line technology, extremely underrated piece of tech since it's come in. Will always think that they should effectively have a (much more) dynamic version of that with chipped boots to help figure out offsides and track player's feet specifically. Considering fingertips, elbows, a dip in the grass -- I really think it's just taking the wording of the rules too far.
-
What an absolutely beauty of a pass to pick out Ferran Torres!
-
Watching Rebić be subbed off and slow down as he walked along the byline before coming to a stop just next to the goal to cheer his team on for a moment was very funny
-
Spain deserved that. Crazy that's Azpi's first international goal (until you remember he barely played because of Carvajal at least). Pedri completely running the show so far in this second half. Very mature in his composure and awareness for 18, think he'll end up being an absolute steal for Barça in the years to come.
-
Game on! Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, he's a professional footballer and should be able to sort his feet out in time before it gets to him. I just think he lost his concentration and wasn't ready for the speed, curve, or bounce of it. Passing back is always dangerous, but if you're going to do it, you should put as little pressure on your 'keeper as possible -- it shouldn't have enough pace on it to make the net move! Completely agree, I don't think it should've been a penalty either, and I'm surprised it was given: it was clear to me that the defender had no idea where Koke had got to. If I'm remembering right it wasn't even a tackle, the defender knew he was under pressure and was winding up to boot it out, but Koke was crafty and, like you said, jumped in front of it.
-
Absolute howler from Simón that, but way too much fizz on it for a backpass, just took an unlucky bounce. Croatia ahead and they'd done nothing to this point to warrant it. Spain were very much on top before, tough to not have something like that not knock your confidence.

E3 2021: Digital Edition, TGA's 2021 & other 2021 events

Quick roundup of the Mana anniversary stream: • Legend of Mana anime is on the way, subtitled The Teardrop Crystal. It is being adapted by Warner Bros. Japan. • a free-to-play mobile game called Record of Mana is on the way, launching worldwide in 2022. • there is a new Mana / Seiken Densetsu game on the way...but it's too early in development for them to show anything. No screens, no title, no systems announced, not even an edgy title on fire, or any talk about it being darker and for adults. Are we sure this is still a Square Enix property? -
I need to vent because it does my head in: I find ITV's football coverage to be absolutely insufferable. Lee Dixon in particular. Spent more time sounding miserable and unenthusiastic, talking about knowing Ian Wright, and both him and Ian talking about how Ronaldo's free kick scoring record isn't what people would believe, than he did talking about what was happening on the pitch. I'm probably jaded by his awful commentary in FIFA (actually, I know I am), but seriously, I'd rather watch the game without commentary when it comes to ITV, and especially Lee Dixon.

Belgium really had to ride their luck tonight to get by. Then again, Thorgan's goal was a more than worthy winner. Awesome second half, end-to-end for the last 30 minutes and stoppage time, Portugal extremely unlucky to not have the luck of a bounce or bobble go their way and find themselves scoring. Those changes worked, just couldn't get it in the back of the net. Ronaldo kept waiting for the international goalscoring record then, and to think -- there might only be one more major international tournament for him with the World Cup.
