Been having mounds of fun with my new position at work. The amount of bullshit some customers come out with is amazing. And it's usually the same thing. Finished reading: Today. Because it had been so long since I'd read the rest of the series, I went through them all. Seven books of decent length in little over a fortnight. Not a bad series in the end, but of a Matrix-esque ending though.

Surge and Sabrina felt the weight of my Mon Dong last night. It feels good to be back home in Kanto. I was tempted to replace my Noctowl due to its less than stellar performance against the Elite Four. But I'm giving it another chance.

Predictable too, you can tell you got your inspiration from those "FAST" stroke adverts. Fish Pie: I'm begging you Michael. Enough. Nein...: Everyone's opinion on these is well documented. Stiff: Old. CD's: You can do better than this. I think. Penis: Boring. What was with the accent? Scare Claire: You two aren't really together. It's impossible. FREEDOM! I've finally been able to pimpsmack Lance and enter the sexy land of Kanto. All thanks to Kingler and Sandshrew. Thinking of replacing Noctowl, it hasn't been living up to its potential. I'm torn between some other mon.

Slight bit of progress... After numerous failings I finally managed to get to Lance. But now I'm losing to him. Ampharos can take out his Gyarados, and Sandslash can take one Dragonite out... But it isn't working :'( The moment they start using Outrage/Dragon Rush I'm done for.

McD's having the sexy Monopoly back... If anyone has the Mayfair ticket, I have Park Lane, we'll combine our shizzle and go halves on the £500k. Plus I'm having my job changed [with an amazing 2 days notice] new hours/days and shit. Means I can visit the Pokémon TCG League again.

It's not yet known though whether the new titles will finally see us playing out an edgy, noir flashback to Professor Oak's youth as a trainer (that's Ashley's 'joke' - Ed). It was already shown in Pokémon 4Ever the man was a complete pussy.

I keep faltering at the Elite Four. It is most displeasing. Karen's Houndoom is too much for me. You need to do the EEVIL-Flip-Reverse strategy. Buy a new copy then take it back the next day, switching the merchandise. Either saying the Walker is faulty or something like you bought it for your lil bro and they got it already. Maybe the former just in case they check. I've been considering attaching TM's to some of my 'mon from D/P/Pl and trading them over since I'm too impatient to find them in Gold. Plus the fact that my Sandslash needs to learn some ground moves NOW.
