Ah Yeti Sports, how it filled those long boring school days of yester year with joy And as for my request... well this one can be left open to a bit of interpretation but since it was my art A level question and a part of my name I shall go for TWILIGHT

I find that with cereal as well, and as a result don't really eat it that much. Although some which I will always love are golden nuggets (used to love the adverts as well but they seemed to have vanished), crunchy nut and coco pops, if ever my cereal cravings pick up again i'll always go for one of those three. Unfotunately it's usually just the same old shredies or oat crunchies to be found in the cupboards .

Fair enough, thats great news hes a fantastic defender! But I stand by my point that the Evra signing is a good move because now if something happens to Ferdinand or Vidic in the centre, Heinze could fill in there and Evra could cover in the middle and Mikael "can't concentrate for 90 seconds, let alone 90 minutes" Silvestre can sod off somewhere else!
-
The left back is called Evra, and I'm pretty sure Heinze wont be coming back in the next 2 months, I thought he was still a major doubt for the World Cup, let alone making any sort of United appearance in the remainder of this season! And personally, even with Heinze back a player like Evra will give good options and means we wont have to rely on Mikael "one mistake a game" Silvestre ever again!

Am not gonna be watching this but I like the idea of the non-celeb although shes apparently already cocked that up byt telling one person that her so called bands song got to number 47 and a different person that it got to number 53, I mean how retarded can you be? Pick a number then stick to it your idiot! In fact shes so retarded that I am now going to avoid watching it all costs so I don't have to see her fucking anything else up!

I was waiting for this kind of topic to arrive, now I can show everyone my very nearly complete setup! Well here goes... This is my 27" LCD TV which as you can see is mounted on the wall, with the cables actually running through the wall so they are not visible. As you can see I use this as my PC monitor (with this very topic being displayed!)... This is my wireless keyboard, mouse and media remote which I use for my PC, the remote is excellent because it means that I control music/dvd's whilst in bed (I have my PC hooked up to the surround sound as well as DVD, GC and FV, and whilst watching DVD's using the computer it looks SO much clearer, I was literally blown away when I put Episode 3 on!)... In this image you can see everything that is currently hooked up to my TV. On the little shelving unit from top to bottom there is a centre speaker from my surroind sound system, freeview box, amp/reciever (for surround sound), dvd recorder and finally my Gamecube. My PC is to the right of this shelving unit and then next to that is my sub... The final picture is just one I took to show the two front speakers of my surround sound system, simple as that. Well there ya go, my nice setup is there for all to see! The only thing I still need to do is get some small casing for the speaker cables so they're not visible anymore and maybe in the futrue a nicer PC case, becasue my current one isn't too great!

Top Five stupid questions i get while working
Eddage replied to DiemetriX's topic in General Chit Chat
I get asked stupoder questions than that! I work at a Welcome Break service station (yes that means free wifi Mario Kart on my breaks!) and we gt asked extremely stupid questions. Heres 3 I think of now... 1) Do you sell alcohol? 2) Where do you get the coffee from/pay? (take into account there is a massive sign saying 'coffee primo' where you get the coffee and another sign saying 'please pay here' where you pay!) 3) Where do you get the lids from? (about half the customers who are having take away drinks ask this question, despite everytime I serve someone I say "You'll find all the lids, milks and sugars in the centre of the restaurant" - just proves that no-one listens to you!) -
"IT'S CHRIIIIIISTMAS" How can it be anything but Slade's classic 'Merry Christmas Everybody', currently got it as my ring tone since I'm currently in the festive mood! Other songs I like are Wizard - I Wish it Could Be Chirstmas Everyday and Pogues ft. Kirsty McCall - Fairytail of New York... In fact I like virtually any up beat and not drearily slow Christmas song, gets in a great Christmassy mood!

So something like this could easily run Half Life 2 and could run newer games fairly well? If this is the case then I think I'll get myself one of these. -
Couldn't agree more! Experienced Neighbours to the full today after watching for the first time with the use of the surround sound system that I set up in my room a while back (dunno why I didn't use it before for normal TV, but meh) and the bit when Joe and Lyn were in the kitchen and then you heard Genelle and Janae arguing in the living room played from the left speakers then when it cut to them moved back to the centre speakers. It's amazing how something so simple can raise your enjoyment!

2005 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, vote b4 12
Eddage replied to uncle_buckman's topic in General Chit Chat
I don't understand why people don't want Flintoff to win it? He was inspirational in Englands Ashes victory and what else have British sportsmen/women won this year? Sure Murray has had a sensational year rising up the rankings (about 400 places i think?) but I don't think he deserves it when the England cricket team (who should also win the team of the year award) played so briliantly, especially Flintoff! -
The nine minutes of footage of the fight between Kong and the T-Rex actually took two whole years to make! Can't wait to see the films, seeing Narnia next Saturday (17th) and then probably Kong the week after, can't wait!

Yet Another "Recommend Me A Graphics Card" Thread!
Eddage replied to Eddage's topic in General Chit Chat
Tell ya what, I think I'm gonna rename this thread and just make it a "help me re-build my PC" thread... EDIT: Is there a way to change the thread title? I thought I had but that's just the bit above each individual post, if any mods read this then could they please change it!? -
Yet Another "Recommend Me A Graphics Card" Thread!
Eddage replied to Eddage's topic in General Chit Chat
Cheers for that ultra helpful comment there, obviously I had absolutely no idea that this would be some sort of a problem! ("Oh and incase you didn't get it I was being sarcastic") I realise that idealy I would want PCI, but that would mean getting a new motherboard (and once again I would want a reasonably good one), and subsequently a new graphics chip (mine isn't exactly great) and then the graphics card as well, and all this does add up. Okay then, lets say I had a mothorboard with a PCI slot, what sort of card would I be able to get within the price range, and whilst we're at it how much would a half decent PCI enabled mothorboard cost?! -
Ok this has all changed so if your confused by the first few replies then just ignore them... Quit simply I wanna make my PC bigger and better (well not so much bigger)! What I'm thinking is New Mothorboard, CPU, Graphics Card, and maybe some more memory. From what I've picked up around here the general conception seems to be that AMD CPU's are better than their Intel counterparts so I'll probably head in that direction, other than that the only thing that I really know is that I sould spend between £300-400 but that could go higher if needs be, oh and it doesn't have to be the 'greatest system ever' (not that I'm gonna get that with £400 though!). but something that could handle games such as Half Life 2 (loved the original) quite comfortably, but not necessarily on the highest setting. One last thing is that the graphics card needs DVI out so that I can connect it to my LCD television, although I doubt this will be much of a problem! Cheers for any help!

Haha, I haven't changed my team since about the second/third week, and really don't think I can be bothered! As long as I don't finish last I'll be happy.

Face recognition: what celeb face do you have?
Eddage replied to LukeLee's topic in General Chit Chat
My results are amazing! First up there is Russel Crowe with a 66% likeness This is followed by none other than Margaret Thatcher with 59% likeness! (How those two could ever come up next to each other I don't know!) Another one of interest is Orlando Bloom at 49% And finally right at the end we have Gunpei Yokoi with 46%, yes thats right the producer of Metroid and Kid Icarus! So with in the space of 20% there is a copule of Hollywood actors, one ex female prime minister who is god knows hoe old and some Japanese bloke! Interesting! -
Where the hell did you get that from? None of McFly were in Busted, and so far the only bands to come from the split of Busted are Fightstar (Charlie) and Son Of Dork (James), at least get the facts right before you start slagging them off! I personally don't mind McFly at all, heard them singing the Colin Murray re-write of I Wanna Hold You on Radio 1 on Friday and it was pretty good, and they're not mass produced, etc, and I would much rather listen to them than Iron Maiden! Oh and Ashley the other two are Harry and Dougie!

And whilst it doesn't actually mention it on that page for some reason the Family Guy DVD's are also buy one get one free... ...right here!
-
um............................. How do I go about removing those videos from existance? Seriously nobody should be put through such torment EVER again!
-
Bastards? I just ordered Futurama seasons 1-4 and Family Guy seasons 1-3 for just under £100 from those guys! Don't see that happening anywhere else!

it was terminated by mutual consent wasn't it? Doesn't that mean the there will be nothing to pay extra, I think it does if my Champioship/Football manager playing has served me well. Oh and as a United fan I'm kinda sad to see hime leave but he wasn't anywhere near the plaer he once was so I'm not too upset. Heres hoping for Ballack (although I'm getting my hopes up too high)!
