  1. I figured it might have been something to do with the graphics card being too powerfull or something at first and so I put my old one back in and the same thing happens so I've ruled that out of the equation, I've also tried rstarting it many a time but the same thing happens - it just restarts on it's own every second or two!
  2. I seriously need some help with my computer - it won't switch on! About a week and a half ago I went to turn my computer on, however it never got going and just kept restarting every second or two! At first I thought it might have been to do with the power supply and so I bought a new one slapped it in but the same thing keeps happening! I'm hoping that one of you guys may have some sort of idea as to what may be causing the never-ending restarts and that it'll be a simple case of replacing something (dunno, maybe the hd's corrupted or something?!) as I really can't afford to buy a new computer since I don't have a job, and spent £150 odd on a new graphics card just before Christmas! Any help will be greatly appreciated!
  3. You obviously haven't seen Syriana then! Saw a bit of it on itv last night, wasn't too bad, a dvd is lying around the house somewhere so I may watch it all the way through tomorrow, dunno if I'll see the sequel or not.
  4. I know this is opinions and all that but how can you possibly rate Syriana over King Kong (like I said earlier I can't rate it over any other film I've ever seen let alone King Kong which is probably my 2nd fav of all time)! Some people say King Kong was too long (about 3 hours if I remember correctly), but at least something happend during that time, unlike the 2 hours I wasted seeing Syriana! Oh well, I guess you and me are sewn from two very different seeds! EDIT: Spose I should chuck a couple more films I've seen recently on here rather then just attacking your opinion Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (Extended Version) Watched all 4 hours of this on Sunday with my surround sound turned up to +5 volume (don't be fooled, it's usually on -25 so +5 is actually very loud) and loved every minute of it! As I mentioned above King Kong is my second favourite movie and this is the one that beats it! Kept me entertained for the whole duration and seeing as it's four hours long thats a great achievement (Syriana couldn't even do it for half that time, and no I don't plan on stopping my Syriana bashing any time soon - infact I'll probably mention it in every post I make in this topic ) 10/10 Walking Tall Starring The Rock and Johnny Knoxville this film is actually better than I thought it would be. Quite simply a nice enjoyable popcorn film, good fight scenes, especially at the end when they're in the forest. 8/10
  5. Got a few films to add, with very contrasting opinions! Ocean's 12 - Not as good as the first one and could be a little confusing for some, but generally a good film. 7/10 Syriana - Quite possibly, neigh definately, the WORST film I have ever seen, I was told by my friend who I went with (as well as some others) that it was a political 'thriller', well it wasn't AT ALL thrilling, infact it was so boring that I found myslef constantly looking at my watch thinking about 30 - 45 mins had gone by only to find it was more like 5! In the end I got fed up of having to constantly get up and read the subtitles (there was a lot of foreign speak), seeing as I had got comfy in a position whereby the bottom of the screen was cut off so couldn't see them, and with about half an hour left I, as well as another friend next to me, fell asleep! Trust me this film is complete bollocks, nothing of any remote interest happened (well a couple of cars blew up, but they weren't even that impressive) and as far as I can tell the meaning behind the film is that big American corporations will do anything to line their own pockets - well I knew that already and so wasted 2 hours of my life being told this in the most boring and tedious way possible. 0/10 (yes thats right it gets a big fat ZERO)! Anchorman - Saw this the day after Syriana and although they are completely different genres I am still comparing them... This is how a film should be, by that I mean something actually happens! Great performance from Will Ferel and the rest of the news team (especially Brick Tamblin [sp?]) and funny throughout, infact I've seen it three times since Wednesday! 9/10 To sum things up, see Anchorman, give Oceans 12 a go and for the love of god, avoid Syriana like the plague!
  6. You see, it isn't there!
  7. The one I'm using is called Foton, pretty sure I got it from deviantart, the background was also off deviantart, but i can't remember what its called! (if you want it then I can upload it into imageshack) As for Tony's... well I wanna know what he's using as welL!
  8. This has probably been asked before, I surely can't be the first to have noticed it, but why doesn't the "Revolution Discussion" forum have the main sites header like all the other ones do? It kinda seems a little empty!
  9. What theme are you using there? I like the look of it! EDIT: Spose I should post mine as well... There ya go!
  10. Exactly the same with my Graphics lessons! Did hardly anything in the actual lesson and did my whole coursework in three days just getting it done for the deadline, still got an A as well!
  11. Last night I had a wonderful home-made spaghetti bolognase, was delicious and earns a 9.5/10 (the only thing that can beat it is home made sheperds pie!
  12. If it's ANY Disney film then it has to be Pirates of the Caribbean, very funny film, Johnny Depp is superb in it and of course Keira Knightly aint looking too bad But if you were thinking more along the cartoon side (classic Disney) then I would have to agreee with you on the Lion King front, saw it when it first came out whilst I was on holiday in America (before it came out over here I believe) and loved every second of it, quality!
  13. Well why don't you start one up? Although Neighbours is clearly the greatest soap in existence!
  14. That was probably a couple of weeks ago now, just after the crash when they thought Dillon was dead. Stingray found out where Roo was hiding so him and Sky went up there, he was out so when they heard him coming back in they hid behind the door and smacked him round the head with a plank of wood, only it was Stu and not Roo.
  15. Whatever happened to that dog and duck program on citv, that was awesome, as are those adverts!
  16. Surely not a miscarriage though? After all the trouble with trying to get pregnant, then the adoption thing, I would have thought this one would actually make it! Or are the dreams about Drew a symbol of death, what with him being in the ground and all!?
  17. Could it lead to an end for Steph and Max? What would happen to the baby?!
  18. Lucy Number Slevin Saw it at the cinema on Friday and have to say I enjoyed it quite a lot. A nice few twists and turns with the story all coming to a fold right near the end, overall I would say very good gangster flick - 8/10
  19. Agree with you on the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter ad there Rokhed! And while we're are on the subject is there anyone who CAN'T tell the difference between I Can't Believe and real butter? I mean they taste totally different, which is why I have the former - tastes much nicer!
  20. Just finished a rather nice toad in the hole, with home made chips and some quality heinz baked beans, can't quite decide wether it was as nice as last nights roast or not and so i'm gonna give this a 9/10 as well!
  21. But what if we had spam for dinner?! Anyway, last night I had a lovely roast chicken with roast potatos, peas, stuffing and gravy. Chicken was mst excellent as were it's fellow food stuffs, as a result I give it 9/10!
  22. I would do this myself but it takes way too much effort, and I'm just lazy! Nice choice, love that song, and part 2!
  23. Just hope it looks good on me! I reckon it will go well with the watch I ordered as well!
  24. Cheers for the Asos.com link Ashley, found some nice stuff on there, including two of the items you linked directly too! I just ordered the following... Nice watch for £35, really like the wide denim strap! Simple shirt, which has a nice design on the back for £30 (although this might be sent back depending on what the logo looks like on the white shirt [only has the picture in black on the site] and if it fits the way I like - ordered medium instead of small)! One of the tees Ash linked too for £15, like the simple style with the little logo in the corner. Another of Ash's linkages for £12, nice simple design, enough said (although like with the shirt its medium so might be sent back - but probably won't)! All this for £96 including next day delivery, pretty good if you ask me, although the fact that I wont have a job after my night shift tonight and haven't yet found another one means that its probably not the best time to be spending money!
  25. Thats a pretty cool game, only played it twice, got to the first speed up (where it turns green and black) so not as far as you! However it still doesn't beat the helicoptor pilot game that Pit-Jr posted... Yeah baby, I'd like to see someone beat that score!
