Never had a fire when I was at school but I just got back from playing squash at the leisure centre that my old school uses (they're right next to each other) and just as we were finishing a fire engine pulled up and a load of firemen entered the building, one of which tols us we had to leave right away! We hung around for a bit but couldn't see any smoke or anything, really wanna know what was going on, all I do know is that it was a code 4 situation, but seeing as I'm not staff I have no idea what code 4 means!

Its sorted now anyway! I stole the floppy drive from the family computer and thankfully the mobo cd lets you copy the drivers onto a disk which I then used for the installation! Cheers for your help though!

Ah this auto merging diuble posts is annoying! I have a topic in the tech thread after help for installing a new hard drive, someone posted a reply so I replied to that saying I would try it out. I still have a problem with it but when I try to ask another question the posts just move, and due to this the topic doesn't move to the top of the board! This means that no-one will realise another question is there!? Any way to get around this or can someone bump it for me or something?

Ah right, you would've thought that it would mention that in the motherboard manuel! Cheers for the help, I'll see if I can get it working now! Update... Ok, I've managed to get the computer to recognise the new drive but obviously thats only with windows installed on the original. The trouble is since I want to get rid of the 80gb one I need to install the drivers when I do the windows installation. The thing is the drivers I need are only on a cd and you need to use a floppy during the setup, the other problem being the fact that my computer doesn't actually have a floppy drive! Is there any way I can use the cd during the setup process or is my only option to get a copy of the drivers on a floppy disk and then install a floppy drive in my computer?!

Ok guys, I need your help! I just bought a new hard drive (this one) but am having trouble getting it to work. I have plugged it all in ok but for some reason it isn't being recognised properly. When I turn the computer on it quickly displays... ...before it continues to boot up (I still have my old drive installed, but eventually it will be removed). So I press the tab key and it brings up the Raid bios thing, at this point I have no idea what is going on! On the raid bios screen I am told "the number of disks is not adequate to create a RAID, it also tells me information about the drive (name, mode, size and status). Basically I have no idea what creating a raid is or even if I want to do it and why the drive isn't being recognised by Windows. It also shows up on the normal bios in the hard drive section!? Cheers in advance for any help.

I saw the title and read it as Reading the place, got very confused for a second I'm not actually reading anything at the moment, nor have I done for god knows how long, but I keep meaning to pick up something up by Stephen King, the last book I read (or started to read - same word different pronounciation (sp), our language is fucked up) was by Stephen King and I really enjoyed it, dunno why I stopped now!?

Anybody know how long he has left on his contract? Surely Bayern know that if he really wants to move to England, which he clearly does, then they'll just end up losing him for nothing when his contract ends. Afterall if they treat him like shit then they don't have a chance of getting him to sign a new contract, especially now that he knows clubs like Man United are after him!

Know exactly how you feel, at least Topman do XS though, most places don't! I found a really nice t-shirt in there sale, XS was out of stock but there were some S's left, came back a few days later when I had money and they were gone as well! Do you know any other online shops that do XS?
