Yeah me too, I'm a rusher, and I hate campers (especially the "good" ones, who anticipate you wanting revenge and sneak to the corner on the other side to get you again when you come looking for him). But I'm not going to complain about it, it's a valid tactic. I never used stopping power before, but I now have it on the FAL, because eventhough I think it's a cool weapon and I wanted to get better with it, one shot often still wasn't enough in HC, and since my aim isn't exactly the best, I'd like to only need one shot, so I've been using stopping power with it. My most used load out is: The M16A.. Whatever (the 3-burst rifle) usually with the holographic sight. I prefer silencers, but it does seem I aim better with the sight than using the iron sight alone, especially for this gun. I still have the silencer version for search & destroy. The raffica as my sidegun, with silencer. C4, stungrenades.. And pretty much always Marathon, coldblooded and ninja as perks. Painkiller as my deathstreak award. And since I wanted to try getting a nuke, I've been doing the harriers - chopper gunner - nuke thing, and I finally managed that just before I clocked the 400 hours. Before that, I was doing the easy & team supportive combination of UAV - care package - predator missile, and I may change back to it one day, if I give up attempting to get some more nukes .

Haha, well I'm in the same boat as Mike then (liking / loving both MW2 and the "other" Matrix films). That said, I guess I'm pretty lucky. In 400+ hours of the multiplayer game, I've never entered a hacked server, and I'm not good at spotting cheaters, however, i don't think I've encountered them very often. Of the 400 hours, far most of them were enjoyable. It must also help I'm pretty relaxed, I don't get annoyed by a lot of stuff. If I get snipeds constantly, yeah, ok, annoying, but it's in the game, so I just keep playing. No big deal. The same goes for noobtubes, martyr grenades, killstreak awards, and all the other stuff people seem to find annoying (which is almost everything). The matchmaking system, stuff like that.. That's a valid complaint. Grenadelaunchers and the like.. Is not. Go play something different without complaining about it, or change your own tactics / playstyle / loadout. And what's this silly complaint about stopping power? Go play HC (says someone who is mediocre at best).

<phew> Sorry guys, wasn't in the mood to turn on my computer yesterday at all, it seems I missed quite a discussion. Fortunately I can still add to it: I'd like to say I'm personally pretty sure ReZ is not mafia. So I'm not hopping on that bandwagon. I request the rest to follow suit.

Since I always leave last-minute, I find myself in that situation on numerous occasions . Except, I never actually crash into closing doors. I either jump in, or I give up.

Hated it. Went to see it because of the name (Burton, though only produced by him), and because it's a 3D animation that's something different than a bunch of idiotic animals or some green troll. There are some great character designs and setpieces, and there were some good actions scenes. Visually, there's nothing wrong with the film. Post-apocalyptic stories always interest me, so did this one. But. The script.. The dialog. I found it so appalling, I left the cinema angry.. It was a huge disappointment to me, purely because of the idiotic dialogues. This is not an animation I'll ever watch again.

From what I understand, TV's are optimised for viewing at a further distance, say a few meters at least. Monitors are optimised for viewing up close. I believe the pixel density (or what ever) has mainly to do with it. I'd personally never would use a TV as a monitor (and vice versa, although that would be less problematic I think). Oh, and.. Hmm. I was going to say I would be up for a new attempt at a game next week seem day same time, however.. The festival. I don't know what my plans are.

Hmm, that's a bunch of interesting movies . Unfortunately, there's only 1 () mentioned above I've actually seen (Martyrs), although there are a few on my list to watch (someday). If you don't mind thrillers, perhaps you can add Tzameti.

Absolutely nothing, unless you're doing professional grapfhical editing or coding, then you have a use for the extra space. Otherwise it's just for your e-penis . Edit: Plus it will only tax your videocard more. Dyson, maybe we should try again next week?

It would probably go down as one of the more memorable mafia failures in N-E history yes, but I reckon it wouldn't do any good to the game itself .

Yeah, or an old enemy :p. PS3 players will miss that for the mopst part. I have skimmed those videos, so I can't remember what else is there except for the main missions, but I do believe they have a few side characters. But that won't be the same. Unless of course you wouldn't have played the side missions anyway.

I wouldn't envy them too much. I saw the videos of the interactive comic to summarize the events of the first game. That's some boring shit.

The modern warfares are the only CoD's I own. Regarding the single player, I loved them both, although I did think the story was getting a bit too fantastical in the second. Never experienced the multiplayer of the first in its golden days, but wasted a lot of time on the second one. The 3rd will be a must-buy, even if it's just to see the conclusion of the story (for some reason I'm thinking it's a trilogy), but I hope the multiplayer will bring me as much joy as the second one has. I've skipped Black Ops, so by the time this will get released, I may need to have my CoD fix again. The fact they bring in 2 other studios to finish it is a little worrying, but to be expected. And I have s soft spot for Ravensoft, so I'm not going to automatically write this one of yet.

Haha, then all you need is Crysis and Crysis 2 . I have no idea how your card will perform. Even my computer can't handle it at max. Although I should try it out probably, just for fun . But to be honest, I can't really think of any PC exclusives that haven't already been mentioned. From the ones I mentioned, Crysis, but that's already on your wishlist, The witcher, hmm the guildwars games, oh and I forgot Star Craft, but that's also already on your wishlist too.

Perhaps someone should open up a thread. Not me, I'm not the expert. Daft: what kinf of games do you play / want? Apart from the FPS games I see? If you want to get some multiplayer FPS, perhaps you should consider recent hits as CoD: Black Ops, Medal of honour, or Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Or the 2 CoD: Modern warfares if you haven't gotten into those yet. For strategy, I'm a C&C man myself, but Supreme Commander is good too. And I personally have Sins of a solar empire and Civ 5 on my wishlist too. RPG: The witcher and Dragon age. Mass Effect if you haven't played it on X-Box. If you want to go MMO, I have Guild Wars on my wishlist. Games I'm personally looking forward too: Deus Ex 3, The witcher 2, Mass Effect 3, Crysis 2, Homefront, Portal 2, Guild Wars 2, and the Secret World..
