The last voters hastily put their ballots in the box. After all the votes have been counted, a winner is declared. Then everyone runs off. "Wait! What about.. A ceremony?" the newly elected President asks confused. "Here" someone shouts, while throwing an object towards his head. "Ow!" he scratches his head. The object lies on the floor. "A crown?!" heroicjanitor has been elected President. He will remain in office untill at least 02-01-2011 00:00 CET (01-01-2010 23:00 UK) (turn 5 & 6). He picks up his crown, and just follows the crowd. It seems there are more important matters at hand. Inside the airlock a passionate woman is kept. "I'm beginning to see things differently. Please listen to my story! I've done you no harm so far.." the woman pleads. "You're evil, it's written on your face. Throw her out!" "I can be useful!" she finally says while the inner doors are closing. Then the outer doors open. A minute later, the airlock is empty. Caprica Six is deceased. She was evil , or was she??, and a rebel. She was played by Present On the intensive care, the dedicated woman was lying. She regained consciousness that day, but her vital signs are extremely weak. "At least, I got to tell my story. I served my purpose". The vital signs on the monitor flatline. The medical staff tries to save her, but ultimately, they fail. Laura Roslin is deceased. She was unfortunately the first victim good, and the initial President. She was played by Jonnas. Start of turn [4] - nightphase

Since tomorrow it's Christmas, and everyone will be opening presents, playing with presents, eating Christmas dinner, and watching Dr. Who, and generally be busy, I'd like to know if people want to make an exception, and extend the nightphase to 48 hours (covering Christmas day, and Boxing day (or simply "second Christmas day, as we like to call it here in the Netherlands ). If I get 2 more votes for heroicjanitor, I will end the dayphase tonight, but everyone is free to comment on this issue (and only this issue ) during the nightphase. If I think there's a demand for it, I will extend the nightphase.

Personally I start with which processor I want, then just go with a motherboard which is compatible. Making sure it has enough slots for anything I want to add. But the basic features are all the same on most of them, because of Intel's (or AMD's) specifications. So just make sure you have enough slots and other connections (sata connections for your HD's, and USB for everything you want to connect), than you can look at built-in features (onboard LAN, sound, but again, most of these are standard on most boards), brand, or even appearance. You can also look for new features as USB 3.0 or PCI 3.0, and SATA 3.0. Also, make sure your MB fits in your case. Probably just ATX. If you want to expand in the future by adding a second videocard (I've read an article that concluded 2x GTX 460 = best bang for buck), make sure you have 2 PCI-e x16 slots.

End of turn [3] - nightphase A dog walks the corridors of the Galactica.. The inquisitive woman knocks on a door, she has an appointment. "Come in", can be heard from behind the door. The inquisitive woman enters the office. "So you're here for the.." the nervous man begins his sentence while turning around, then pauses. The nervous man and the inquisitive woman look at eachother. The nervous man looks as if he suddenly remembered something. "Just do what you normally do" the inquisitive woman says to break the silence. The nervous man takes a blood sample, but his mind is elsewhere. "The results.. I.." he stutters. "Never mind the results, we'll talk later. The inquisitive woman leaves. Meanwhile, in his office, a loyal man has a conversation with the watchful woman and the shady man, who, as always, has brought his cat along. "I'm doing this on the side, but I think I'm getting better at it." the loyal man begins, feeling a bit more confident than the day before. "Someone has to do it" the shady man replies. "You're doing wonderful!" the watchful woman replies after him. "Tomorrow, I want both of you to do your best, for the good of the fleet!" the loyal man finishes. The shady man and watchful woman nod in agreement. The watchful woman and shady man leave the loyal man's office. The idealistic man stops the shady man before he walks off, and waits untill the watchful woman is out of sight. "I don't think it's a good idea. Just keep a low profile tomorrow, it's for your best interest" the idealistic man speaks softly. The shady man looks a bit surprised. The idealistic man leaves before the shady man has time to think of a response. The inquisitive woman, after taking some time to prepare, gets her crew and leaves in search for a passionate woman. They find her, and she gladly cooperates. A courageous woman is at her station, looking at various video fragments. She's looking for specific footage, but she won't be able to complete her work today. A serious man appears, he's looking for her. "I'm throwing you in the brig" the serious man says sternly. Suddenly a anxious woman comes rushing. "No! She has to come with me!" she shouts, while catching her breath at the same time. "But she'll be coming with me instead" the serious man anwsers. He grabs the couragous woman by her arm, and takes her away. The anxious woman is left behind. Eventually she leaves as well, to return to her quarters. On her way home, she feels a slight headache. But nothing she can't handle. The shady man, still a bit disturbed by his earlier talk, sets off to do his job. He's on his way to visit a doubtful woman. He knocks on her door, she lets him in. "Have a seat." she says. The shady man sits down on the couch, and puts his cat, inside the travel crate, on the floor. The cat looks at ease. The woman is frantically pacing up and down. "I have all this energy, but I don't know what to do with it today." she mentions. She seems too distracted to concentrate on a real conversation, so the shady man takes this opportunity, and swipes something lying on the table. "Why don't you have a drink to calm down, then you can get to sleep. Tomorrow is a new day." the shady man tries to reassure her. He takes his cat, and leaves. The serious man returns to his quarters, after arresting the couragous woman. When he enters, he encounters a mess. That's not how he left the place. From the corner of his eye, he sees a red blinking light. He doesn't get a chance to react. The Centurion shoots the serious man, and he falls to the floor. The Centurion makes a run for it, but the shots were loud and could be heard from outside. The alarm sounds.. Soldiers come rushing. They shoot the Centurion, it falls apart. After checking if the Centurion is completely disabled, they enter the serious man's quarters. They find him on the floor, he's not breathing. The soldiers realise they've just lost their commander. William Adama is deceased. He was finally active good, and he was the commander. He was played by MadDog. When news of William Adama's death reaches the loyal man's ears.. He starts crying. But he knows what he has to do. A grumpy man is in his office. He hears the alarm, and opens the door to find out what's happening. He sees soldiers running past his office, but they're to busy to inform him of the situation. A dog runs past him through the entrance. "I can't have dogs here!" He ignores the dog, and walks towards the dedicated woman instead. "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do for you now" he says with sorrow. The dog, feeling neglected, licks up some pills that are lying on the floor. He didn't quite enjoy them.. Well, technically I'm neither, since in this game you are either loyal to the Captain or not. And to be clear, I'm the former. Also, I don't know what the myth about Davy Jones is, when I googled him, all I saw were pictures from Pirates of the Caribbean, movies which I've been avoiding.

The current President remains President for another turn. An angry mob gathered in front of the pragmatic man's quarters. They didn't have real evidence, they acted on.. Animal instinct, if you will. Some noises could softly be heard from within, like someone was building something. They barge in.. The pragmatic man initially just gives them a blank stare. "Frak!" He pulls a gun.. A loud sound echoed across the corridors of the Galactica. The pragmatic man put the gun into his mouth, and shot himself. There he lies, in his own blood, between various Centurion components. Already dead, they threw him out of the airlock anyway. John Cavil is deceased. He was not Saul Tigh evil, and he was the Cylon leader. He was played by Dannyboy-the-Dane. Sorry, Nintendohnut, to be honest, I i[]do[/i] think it's the best lead we have so far. However, I can't vote anyway, otherwise I would've taken a chance on this hunch.

I got lazy, that's all . I targeted myself, as I have a useful ability myself. I wasn't sure if The Peeps would allow me, so my second choice was heroicjanitor, decided in the same manner as you on night 2. And the wooden leg thing, it's obvious that I'm not sure myself if I should act upon it, and I realise many pirates have wooden legs, but I don't know how The Peeps writes his write-ups. It is a description, and it's still possible it only belongs to one person.

Hey, although I'm interested, I'm not sure if I should sign up right away.. Being busy the pirate mafia and my own game. If your game doesn't start before the new Years eve, I'll think about it again around that time (if you still need people by then), depending of the status of both mentioned games.

Which is why, like I already said before, I didn't use it on night 1. It's better used trying to roleblock scumnags than protecting the loyals. I chose one randomly from the ones who didn't vote for MadDog on night 2, which turned out to be Nintendohnut. For night 3, I thought, protecting either Ellmeister or Nintendohnut (of which I'm still not sure by the way, 'm still wondering what's up with that wooden leg), would be too obvious since they both asked for it, plus I didn't want to inflict that side effect on them.

I was sighing each time I saw a reference to my character, from my perspective, out of context. I'm up here people! Not down below (yet)!

(took me a long time to get to this form..) Anyway, I was re-reading night 2. http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1253188&postcount=94 I targeted Nintendohnut, and I assume now he was the one shut from the rest of the ship, which makes him indeed the wooden legged pirate.. This should be enough, but I don't get why he appeared attempting to help Ellmeister on night 2, so I'll wait for a reaction.
