  1. K, let me find something. How 'bout this? You like?
  2. Actually, googling it, I actually have that [Vanity Fair] somewhere, and the Marie Clair I think. Edit: And yeah, I'm interested in that book as well.
  3. I Tina Fey! I've posted this somewhere else, but.. She's hot. And obviously [she's funny]. I actually saw Mean Girls in the cinema, almost solely because of her. And I did enjoy it. I should also have 1 or 2 magazines with her on the cover (an Esquire and a Vogue I think), but alhtough she's hot, I haven't seen many good (well, great) magazine covers of her, often they "funny it up".
  4. I must admit I honestly wasn't aware of the fact there's actually no dash in Xbox! Logically it seems wrong, but aesthetically it does look better. Anyway, it seems Xbox left even less of an impression than I though .
  5. I'd say picking a "best" moment in SMB 3 is futile. That episode is completely redundant. Go pick best moments for games that aren't great in general, for example, do a feature on the first mission of the Mission: Impossible game. Or the first level of Star Fox: assault.
  6. Surely picking eggs up from the floor is easier than going to the supermarket and paying for them / stealing them?
  7. Are they supposed to be humourous or serious? Or can it go either way? I've also yet to see Dancer in the dark (eventhough it's been on on TV plenty times I think.. But I don't think I'm a Dogma kind of guy), so I also don't know what to do with it.. It doesn't seem like a film that should have a sequel, but again, I haven't seen it. Perhaps this thread benefits from doing away with the contest style a lá captions thread, and just make it a free for all where people can re-imagine posters from existing films or make posts for hypothetical sequels (and either humourous or serious), kind of like a thread I believe ReZ created in the General forum, but about imaginary films. Just a suggestion. As a contest, it requires more effort from its participants than say the captions thread, resulting in less participants (but Gimp is up to the task Paj).
  8. I actually targeted Fierce as well (for the second time), as he asked for protection, although didn't specify against what.. As I don't protect against kills, in hindsight Dohnut would have been a more logical choice, but, alas. And yeah, I got punched.
  9. After his wife left him, Jake had trouble preparing dinner himself.
  10. Haha, you two. You're both right.
  11. I agree with Dannyboy. The vigilante in my game was "good". I don't mind you not remembering it, ReZ wasn't exactly tactful about it . He himself had plenty of vigilantes in his games too. I think at least Chair was one in one of the Pokémafias.
  12. Also, I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a new Nintendo console coming, one that can easily handle a new CoD. As far as I know it's slated for release end of the year, and it wouldn't surprise me if CoD is coming for that.
  13. I don't have either an X-Box or PS3, but if PC is no option, I'd be inclined to go with the PS3. PS3 has more exclusives I like, and you get a blu-ray player. Like you say, PS network has.. Problems, and X-Box live isn't free. All things that are better on PC, plus better controls and a cheaper game, and better looking. PC is the better investment, and you don't even need an overly expensive one for CoD. But again, if it's no option.. Personally I'd go with the PS3. The PS network problems should likely be sorted by then, and since you'll make a new account, you're not affected by any stolen account information and such (at least, not from this incident). Overall the PS3 is a better machine, but you have to look at which other exclusives you find interesting on both machines, and you yourself only knows which controller you prefer. From what I've heard, multiplatform games tend to be better on X-Box unfortunately, despite the PS3 being better.

  16. That's a funny thing to realise actually. I actually [didn't have anything against the cast], except for that Daniel dude.. But he's not a main character (But I oh so despised him, in all of Star Trek, he's the guy I hated most, and that usually takes some effort..). I'd love to see Archer in a new film as well though. I wouldn't know what the excuse would be, but it doesn't matter, can't get enough of time-travel stuff .
  17. And that's the thing I don't get, people keep buying this stuff. Eventhough there seems to be many complaints from people about the changes, and demands to release the original trilogy properly. These people just don't know how to vote with their wallet. http://www.timetoast.com/timelines/77142
  18. Well it's true Lucas at least puts some effort in its releases (except for that damn original release). It's still milking. Releasing them on HD-DVD would just have been a bad business decision. And I can't help but think that, after the 3D releases, he's still not done.
  19. I'm not an expert, but you're forgetting the laserdiscs (which apparently are the best versions out there), and there is the relatively recent "original" trilogy release on DVD. There are multiple releases on VHS I believe, I recall my brother being upset by something, but I'd have to check. Edit: And the fact they're making changes doesn't change it's milking the franchise. Especially for people who don't appreciate the changes in the first place. Again, they're preparing for the third theatrical release. I can't recall any other films being released in cinema so many times on such a wide scale.
  20. I just may have to avoid the thread from now on.. Pics look awesome though. I especially love the dude on the right in the second pic .
  21. What do you mean? There may be a few that come close, but surely Star Wars takes the cake. I mean, they're preparing for their third theatrical release right now, well in case of the original trilogy. It's ok if a film gets rereleased on a new and better format, but he keeps making (unneeded) additions to his old films, and rerelease them again. It just won't go away.
  22. I didn't say I agree with it. That said.. If anyone can make post-production 3D look (relatively) good, it will be George Lucas. But it won't be for me.
  23. They're not done milking yet. In a few years you can expect the 3D blu-ray boxset.
  24. Perhaps I'll get that book one day. I'm not much of a book reader, but I'd love to know more about their Hailsham days. Fortunately the novel is in English apparently, so I can get the original version without the fear of translation changes (since the writer is Japanese).
  25. Previous versions of remote controlled seniors were criticised for the impractical placement of their antennas.
