  1. Disregarding the Esequiel / Zell stuff for a moment, as I don't know yet what to think of it (I was thinking Esequiel still hasn't figured out his ability yet, but it seems cleared up now). I've been reading the stuff since my last post. From the top of my head: @ mr-paul: yeah, I think I've said enough for you to guess who I am, I'm a recurring character. You can look up the exact details of my ability in the thread of the previous game. @ Cube: I have some minions at my disposal. I'm not red and beige myself. Were you affected by the red & beige creature? If you're roleblocked, the red & beige creature isn't mine, as that is not what it does. You were not my intended target anyway, and unless you are Luigi, you're also not the target I ended up with. My target of night 3 has an ability I cannot place though. It's called "scavenge", which I can't associate with any moves from the game. If my Waddle Dee was scurrying outside your house ReZ, it must mean my target was targeting you or anyone else involved with you? Oh, one last thing, I don't think Luigi is a highlighter (mentioned last day I think, after I posted at least). Looking at the game, and the write-up, I'd say it's a roleblock, which can target 2 people, but has a chance of failing.
  2. I guess I'll start baking a cake then, for my potential visitors.
  3. I don't know about allegiance, I only know who it may be (2 possibilities). But I'll keep it to myself for now in that case.
  4. Requiem for a dream is great. I love feel-bad movies. I also find it funny that shot of the pier (apparently that's also the English word for it?) is very similar to the one in Dark City. I believe there's now a third film with a similar shot. Sorry Paj. Yeah, I am (was?) more of a Star Trek guy than Star Wars. As for the movies: (well, I've already posted this, I'm pretty sure, but here's my stance again on the Star Wars prequels) Star Wars 1: meh (didn't even see it in the cinema). Star Wars 2: Hmm, interesting, there's hope yet! Star Wars 3 must be amazing if they continue the trend! Star Wars 3: my visit to the cinema ended in a riot. Clone Wars was the only good thing to come out of the prequel stories. Star Trek TNG movies: since I'm a fan, I even put up with mediocre but.. Generations: nice bridge movie. First Contact: best Star Trek movie, just amazing. Insurrection: Meh, ok.. Probably not something for the big screen.. I also hated the transition from CGI + models to CGI only. They managed to make the beautiful Enterprise E look ugly with the CGI only and the stupid shuttle below the saucersection. Nemesis: my visit to the cinema ended in a riot. They had to rebuild it. I can't believe what they fucking did with it. Enterprise: I'm in 2 minds about this. On the one hand, Star Trek, to me, pretty much died with Nemesis (and the Voyager finale, and season 2 of the Enterprise series). Star Trek, as I once knew and loved, didn't exist anymore, and in that regard, the reboot movie just continued that trend and disregarded the continuity completely, having no respect for it. As such, it was a complete disappointment. But I fully realised the Star Trek I loved was gone.. So simply looking at its entertainment value, I say it was a succes. I had a few nitpicks with some things, but I can't remember what exactly. But the cast was amazing, and so was the action. I treat it as some sort of new franchise, and in that regard, I look forward to the next one. Anyway. Yesterday I had plans to go to Amsterdam to the Imagine film festival, but I wasn't exactly prepared. I should have ordered tickets online, but forgot all about it. I wanted to see Die Tür and Rubber, but fortunately both have blu-ray releases with English subtitles, so I'll just get those eventually. Another mention, since it's also a movie I was very interested in, and I saw someone here with a David Hyde Pierce avatar, in the public poll the movie The Perfect Host is the most popular movie of the festival. I hope it still gets a normal release here. Some movies I hope to see this week or not much later: Somewhere, Drei, Blue Valentine and Never let me go.
  5. Seeing the thread title, I expected a Jeri Ryan thread. I got disappointed. Then I saw it was about the last film (and reboot), so I expected some news of the next one. I got disappointed.
  6. I don't know. I see a few mentiones of Luigi.. Do we want to know who that is? As I may have some clues.
  7. Girls gone wild: farm adventures
  8. I've gone over all the last posts now. What do you mean, brushing it off as unimportant? I certainly think they're relevant somehow, which was why I openly posted my speculation about them. "My" words? <sigh> It's already out there, now you're just asking me to rearrange the info to the exact order as in my role PM.. I'm Claude Gallandeau. I'm from France, and looking for jobs here from noblemen who are in need of my.. Skillset. During my stay here, and as an observant thief, I have noticed the 5 locks on the door of Queen Olivia, but the rumours from people around me, concerning the events of the previous game, suggest that if I find any keys belonging to those locks, I should keep them safe. Each night I can choose to steal something from a player, or protect that player from things that affect their abilities. Think about it logically. If I was just a neutral with the win condition to get 5 keys, with an ability with just does that, finding keys, then the first 3 quarters of the game would be a complete borefest to me. Have you seen how many players there are? The odds would be against me.. 1 in 4 in the beginning to find one, 3 in 4 to get no result, and I certainly would have no reason to post. As it is not my win condition, I'm perfectly fine with spending my time protecting people. And feel free to investigate me.
  9. Had plans yesterday, so was offline for the rest of the day. Leaving in a minute as well, so I'll read the last posts tonight.
  10. That can't be coincidental.. However, my role PM doesn't mention any relation to you. There must be one in Jonnas' mind, but I'm not aware of it. I'm simply described as someone hailing from France, looking for noblemen to assist. No, my ability is to steal. Again, I don't have any items. I don't know what I'll be able to get or what I'm able to do with it. And ok, fine. I can also choose to assist people by protecting them from non-fatal stuff. As I don't feel like stealing anymore, I'll go do that.
  11. I'm not after anything in particular. I simply steal stuff. Or that was the plan. I don't know what I can / could steal.
  12. I'm good. Not neutral or mafia. If the keys really were what I was after, I wouldn't have mentioned them at all.
  13. You can keep your keys.
  14. It didn't mention "the mafia" specifically, just that they shouldn't fall into the wrong hands. Again, my steal ability, apart from the detail about the keys, just states that.. That I may steal stuff. I assume I may get some flavour as well, but well.. I wouldn't know. Perhaps it works the other way around, perhaps I can get them back from the mafia. I don't know, like I said, it's why I speculated about the keys in the first place. Perhaps it's the mafia's objective, or alternative objective.
  15. You just had to explain it, hadn't you?
  16. The movie or the bonus map? I haven't watched it :p.
  17. Which is a shame but I am most curious to find out what else there is to steal.
  18. There was. I'd rather not render everything I do useless, as I'll probably have to switch to my sidejob, as me getting any keys at all will most likely make me a target.
  19. I'm not watching anything for spoilers (for the movie or the game), but this looks pretty cool: http://uk.ign.com/videos/2011/04/20/spielbergs-super-8-meets-portal-2?objectid=14237322
  20. I don't know about any butlers. I steal stuff, but I have another ability on the side. I want to hear more about your butler.
  21. Haha, sorry dude, but that guy is dead and buried (or thrown in the moat or something). Claude Gallandeau
  22. Actually, I'm not personally after those keys specifically. My role PM just said I may find the keys belonging to those locks during my nightly adventures, and if I do, I should keep them out of the wrong hands. No other details are given, hence my speculation in the first place. Apart from that, I assume I'm a flavour cop, like the thief from the first game, which is why Dannyboy proved a major disappointment.. Apparently, he was to "enigmatic" to steal from.
  23. I don't know.. I'd like to know myself. They usually appear if you have blocks colliding on the border. See this example: http://earslap.com/projectslab/otomata/?q=060x0o0q3767827n (Too bad this one ends in an annoying loop, but it starts out nice..) I love X-files music :p.
  24. Actually, yeah, I thought it was common knowledge, but as a thief, I know there are 5 locks specifically on that door yes.
