Got to love the Daily Mail comments section. "They have them in the West Country and they work very well and are usually nice and clean." NEGATIVE 170

Xpert 11 Season 26: Space to move, Space to breath, Space to win
Zell replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Lilywhite is also out for the rest of the month. Not a happy chappy. Could have got the win against Battlestar today, but my finishing let me down. Still, a draw is a fantastic result. These are vital points for me in the fight for survival. -
The pope having AIDS would be beautifully ironic.

Xpert 11 Season 26: Space to move, Space to breath, Space to win

Just noticed that it is 1 year to the day since I joined Xpert Eleven. So today has been a very happy anniversary for the club. One more year and Yellow Sub will be the champions. -
Xpert 11 Season 26: Space to move, Space to breath, Space to win

Great start to the season. I was hoping for a draw at best, so I'm ecstatic to get all three points, especially away to a team like Silverdale. Another awesome performance by Lilywhite, he just never lets me down. You're next, Battlestar. -
It's this one. I managed to snag one brand new for £500. I do love having internet on my TV. Being able to use Iplayer is so convenient.

Excellent changes guys. Only thing I would say is that I think that Private Trades should be its own forum rather than a sub forum. The more visibility the better.

I'm in a bit of a quandary over what to do with my defence. Currently I have 4 youth defenders: 21-7 All round and training cone 21-6 Light bulb 18-4 Training cone 17-3 Stamina and speed I've had the 21s since pretty much the beginning. Last season my 21-6 (who was a 20-6) was injured for most of the games and unfortunately failed to make the jump to 7. Now I don't want to train 4 youths, so I need to ditch someone. Right now I'm thinking of getting rid of the 21-6, but I'm not sure. I've had him a long time and it might be worth it to give him more time. Thoughts/opinions?

Finally made the jump to 1080p.

I'd obviously love to see unique and innovative uses of the gamepad, but that doesn't mean that developers should shoehorn in touch screen stuff for the sake of it, like motion controls were seemingly shoehorned into the majority of Wii games. For multi-platform games where the gaming experience isn't fundamentally designed around the gamepad, I'd much rather have the option of off-tv play than have touch screen features slapped on that ultimately add no value.

Well Operation N-E Halo Night was a failure. I did have Rummy join for a while and we had a lot of fun playing grifball. One game was particularly epic, we came back from 4-1 down to win 5-4! I'm hoping there will be more of us on tonight?

Tuesday would probably be better for me, but I suggested Monday because I know that there's premier league on this Tuesday. I'm not fussed either way, we can do Tuesday instead if it's better for people. Or we can do both days if people are up for it.

I want this game so badly, but I don't have a PS3. Also, completely unrelated, I know that guy in the IGN video from university. Small world.

Hahaha. Reminds me of South Park:

I knew what a vagina was when I was really young, but I thought it was just where girls pee out of.

Well I think they should at least trial it. If games don't end up finishing until half 5, then they should consider reducing the total play time to 80 minutes or something similar. (Of course this is all just a pipe dream.)

We wouldn't just be playing grifball! My intention was that we would rotate gametypes and playlists. After all, variety is the spice of life. It would obviously be a group decision over what we end up playing. Besides if there's more than 4 of us we can't do grifball anyway because it's 4 per side. Also, don't knock it before you try it! Grifball is very fun and easy to get into. I suggested it because obviously not everyone is going to be at the same skill level and this would perhaps level the playing field.

Alrighty then, how does this Monday at 8 sound? Everyone just add my gamertag and join me in the lobby around then. The dude I was shooting shot the sticky projectile thing with his DMR. It exploded right in my face, and since I fired the sticky launcher it counted as a suicide. Grifball is basically neutral bomb on a small empty map where everyone has hammers and no shields.

Genuinely more interesting in these 'gameplay alterations'. I expect that they'll give you the option to equip items using the touch screen like in the E3 demo. I would love to be able to annotate sea charts and maps using the stylus like you could do in Phantom Hourglass.

I bloody love football, but this recent ballboy incident epitomises everything I hate about the game nowadays. There is one incredibly simple way to completely eradicate illegal timewasting: stopping the clock when the play is not active (like in basketball). There would be no need for stoppage time: once the clock hits 45 minutes the play stops. It would stop goalkeepers from taking ages over goalkicks and that prick of a ballboy would have had no reason to fall on top of the ball in order to delay restarting the play.

The Grifball playlist is arriving next week and promises to be a lot of fun. Had a good ol' chat with Rummy last week and we discussed how it would be nice to see a group of us having a Halo session. I'm thinking if we arrange a time next week where we can all be on at the same time, we could get a team going. It would be nice to get 4 of us, but the more the merrier and if we get 6 we could probably do some custom games. What say you? @bob @Ramar @ReZourceman @Jimbob @ipaul @jayseven

What a shitty day! This evening I was driving down to Warwick University for an alumni/networking event where I would be representing my company. I wasn't paying enough attention and I clipped the curb coming off the dual carriageway. Result: What was worse was my car didn't seem to have a lug wrench, so I had to call in roadside assistance. I must have faffed around in the freezing cold for over an hour. Needless to say, I didn't make it the event.

Pokemon Wii U (Wanted / Why isn't it happening?)
Zell replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That's one thing that always gets me. It's always Grass/Fire/Water. Why not have a Pokemon game where the starters are Dark/Psychic/Fighting or Ground/Electric/Flying? Also, does there have to be 8 gym leaders followed by an elite 4 and champion? Does there have to be gym leaders at all? I would love to see a more story driven experience, it would make a change from the tried and tested "10 year old seeks to become world's best trainer while single-handedly bring down an evil terrorist organisation". -
I didn't get a chance to set tactics, so I ended up playing my default lineup (aka my best 11 players with no youths). Sorry about that.
