  1. I'm not holding hopes on it being any good, but hey. I could be proved wrong again.
  2. Must be his NYR then. As for meeting new peeps, well i recommend clubs. Even greeting people in the street can spur a convo up with them. I should know, it works for me (sometimes).
  3. When you ever?
  4. Sounds like a plan really. I may see if the sign-ups look promising now, if not February to give more peeps a chance to join.
  5. At the moment Un-employed because of how screwed up this country is. Hours are awesome, but filling them is a different issue all-together. Dream Job You won't believe me, but i have already been in my dream job. Which happened to be at Fairfields (or Mabey Bridge as it is known now) as a Programmer. I know, it didn't sound like much but it was awesome. Great staff, hours were brilliant (8am-4pm Monday to Friday, with over-time available) and it had awesome promotion prospects. I could have been set for life in the same company, honestly. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. I was only there for 2 years before being made redundant due to what is known in the trade as a "cock-up" by management. Black-spotted the company, there was no work coming in and people were being released slowly. I have tried countless times to get myself back into the company somehow, but alas i have failed on every attempt. What am I going to do to get there? As i said, i've done my dream job. So i should really call the above What Next? Keep looking for work, perhaps one day i could get back into the company that i loved working for.
  6. It makes me laugh, these 8,400 people probably have nothing else better to do than watch TV and find anything they dislike and complain. I say this to those who do this, get a friggin life.
  7. Awesome sigs there. And congrats to the big N(E) for making 13 years of awesomeness............... well, awesome really.
  8. "Ummm, i don't want to dissapoint you here. It's about your date buddy. Thats no lady, thats Rokhed!!" Damn it!!!!.
  9. Happy Birthday to N-Europe. Hope for many, many more excellent memories and visits.
  10. I'm thinking about firing up another round, if thats ok with everyone.
  11. Some pretty good entries. Well done to all who entered, but there can only be one winner. And that honour goes to The Peeps for this entry Take it away Peepy!!
  12. I've not taken a dump at a mates house in a long time, so i wouldn't know the exact quantity of bog roll to use. I just use what i use, it is there to be used. I just make sure i leave some for the next person. Enough to not make them change the roll, but enough to make sure i don't either. But what is more important, is the air freshner. Don't use too much, and don't use too little. You don't want them knowing that the turd stank, or you just took a turd do ya.
  13. Earlier this year, i had to wait 9 weeks to get paid from work. Yes, you have read that correctly. I just started as well and knew i had missed on the last pay-date, so i knew i'd wait about 4 weeks. But i was told by my boss that i'd have to wait 9 weeks due to the program i was on. There was no way i could last that long with no money, as i had enough money worked out for 3, possibly 4 weeks. I asked to see the person who was running the program and said that 9 weeks isn't good enough to wait to get paid. I hadn't even recieved the starting forms or any paperwork, which is part of the story. I couldn't believe their responses to my questions, it was like they didn't give 2 shites about me. Even tried fobbing me off about that they had to wait that long to get paid, which is a pack of lies. They also said something about i was lying about my financial status just to get money, which i wasn't. So at the end of 4 weeks, i ran out of money and couldn't get into work. Had the company i was working for calling me asking where i am, so i told the truth and said i got no money and can't get into work. Think i took 3 days off before any paper-work showed up. Even was given a months travel-pass so i can get into work, and a written warning for failing to show up to work (thats from the people on the program who gave me the warning). That was written off because it wasn't my fault i couldn't get in. All sorted within a week, after i wrote a lenghty letter stating my displeasure about the system and gave it to the J/C (who sent me on the program), NCC and the boss of the company. Couldn't believe they couldn't be bothered with sorting out my contract, bank details or even my security clearance.
  14. Birthday wishes my friend, have a great one.
  15. Manhunt has quite a number of gamers. But, it could be because no-one can be bothered to find other rooms and play other modes.
  16. HSBC gave me a debit card, where the only place online i could shop was Game. Amazon didn't take my orders, neither did Play. Then Game stopped taking my card, so i spent 1/2 in the bank asking for a better debit card. Which i got. Now i got one of them Visa Debit cards, the new one. Accepted everywhere (sometimes not Game though) I always look on the Game website before looking else-where, a habit i have got myself into really. Another bad point with HMV (they've changed the policy since), is they didn't issue refunds on any item. I recall my parents got me the Rocky box-set for Christmas a few years back, but i already had the set. So took it back to the store they got it from reciept in hand. And they told me in quite rudely that they don't do refunds but they will exchange it for the item i had in my hands (a CD at the time, costing £7. Boxset at the time cost £30). I learned from growing up to treat those as you'd expect to get treated, so i went rude on them. I stopped saying please and basically demanded a refund. Lucky for me, the rest of the queue wanted to return items and got in an arguement with the staff as well. All got refunds as well.
  17. Happy Birthday Jay, enjoy it. Have a crack!!!
  18. Of course. Special is good.

  19. Congrats Rez on the jobbage!!. Imagine if he worked at L'Orieal. In my news Airplane! arrived today.
  20. It is the future. Bargains to be found galore.
  21. Because they always sound miserable and don't want to be there. I suppose HMV has 1 good point.
  22. If the HMV in Newport closed, it will finally kill the high-street shopping. Put the final nail in the coffin, and heading to the cemetary to join the late Woolworths. Seriously, Newport is a waste of time going to. There is only 1 DVD/CD place and that is HMV (WH Smiths does DVDs and CD's, but is crap). HMV is crap. You can't find anything you want because it is never where it says it will be, it is way over-priced (£12 for a copy of Airplane!, when i got it online for £2.20) for what you get for your money and the stores (well, the ones i've been to) are run by emos and goths. Hopefully this will kick them up the rear end and make them more competive. HMV has killed off many other shops. Anyone remember MVC, that was the bees knees for entertainment shopping. There was a music store ages ago in town, sold quality CD's at great prices. Now it is gone. No wonder i online shop. Not only is it cheaper, it is more conveniant as well. Who would of thought i'd say that. Amazon, Play etc all the way.
  23. Still special, because you are the first this year (and first ever) i greeted.

  24. More entries required. I'll leave this open until a few more entries appear.
  25. No problem. I always greet new members (well, ones that actually post i do). Well by that, you're the first this year.
