Sweet. I'd go for that as well, £60 a day for doing naff all. Sign me up. Anyway. Had an email from the Tax office after the previous email i had, (linkage here for the post in general). Turns out they have other jobs available for immediate starts, and they asked me to email back to confirm if i would like to be considered/offered one of these jobs. A years contract guaranteed, which would be sweet.

Yes, i was playing the same game as you were. I felt that Nuts and Bolts was nowhere near the quality that Rare were at with the Banjo series. The humour was there, but honestly you cannot judge a game just on that can we. Gameplay no, world no. Rare released that teaser trailer before showing N+B months after, and it showed that Rare could have made it better. But, as i mentioned before, N+B felt like a game which had the Banjo characters and stuff bolted on, like Star Fox Adventures. It seemed a similar situation between Ninty and Microsoft, Ninty thought Dinosaur Planet wasn't going to sell well so told Rare to bolt Star Fox to it. Microsoft thought what-ever the original idea for Nuts and Bolts was wasn't going to work, so got the Banjo characters tied to it. Instead of letting Rare make the game we all wanted. Even though Rare said they had the original Banjo team making Nuts and Bolts, i don't think they did somehow. I agree with darkjak and Zechs, sorry Dyson. Rare were definetly showing huge signs of failure. Why would they give promotional codes for Kazooie with pre-orders for Nuts and Bolts?. Wern't they 100% sure that N+B was going to sell well enough. If Rare managed to make some decent games (minus Viva Pinata and Kameo) on the Xbox, i would imagine that Microsoft would have put a different developer onto make Kinect Sports. Definetly shows to me that Microsoft wasted that money spent on Rare. They bought Rare to make AAA titles, but now they are making party/minigame compilations. Doesn't compute the price spent. If Nintendo bought Rare back from Microsoft, and they made great games as they did on the N64 once again, i'm sure there would be a lawsuit between Microsoft, Rare and Nintendo. Probably with M/S winning by convincing the court that Ninty sold Rare to M/S with instructions to make crappy games until Ninty bought them back at a discount price. I'd laugh if that occured

I took most of that explanation from The Times, but changed quite a few words to make it sound more like something i wrote. Sorry it's a bit complicated.

On May 5th 2011, the United Kingdom will go to the polls to vote on the referendum for an alternative vote. If it passes, it will change the way we vote in the UK forever. As you know the UK has a coalition government running the country at the moment, due to no party winning a clear number of votes. To save us all going back to the polls, or Labour taking over again, the Conservatives (who won most votes, but not a majority to take parliament) formed a joint government with the Liberal Democrats and together they run the country. Part of the deal to get the Lib-Dems to join the Conservatives, was for the Lib-Dems referendum (if they won government) to go through. Their referendum is for an Alternative Vote system. Which, in their eyes would prevent a joint government from occuring again. I'll explain this as best as i can now. Present Voting System At the moment, we go to the polls and pick 1 candidate by marking the box next to their name with an X. It gets put into a ballot box, and gets counted. The candidate with the most votes wins. Alternative Voting System The "proposed" system, which will take over the present one if voted "Yes" on will change the way we vote forever. Basically, we would go to the polls as usual. But instead of voting with an X to just 1 candidate, we vote with numbers. With me so far, ok.... It works like a ranking system instead, we would place a "1" next to the candidate who you would like to win. But now, we have a choice to make. We can either leave the "1" in the box and post as usual, or we can mark numbers down next to other candidates aka "2", "3" etc. In the case that we can't decide on just 1 candidate, we could vote for anything upto 4 candidates or more on the same ballot sheet(s). When it comes to counting votes, they are all counted up to get an overall number. Then, they are counted by numbers. Aka, the candidate with the number 1 would go into 1 pile, the candidate with the number 2 would go into another pile. If the candidate who has the number 1 written next to their name gets more than 50% of the vote, they win that vote. Still with me, right gets more interesting now. If after all the votes are counted, and the candidate with the number 1 doesn't have 50% of the votes, then the candidate with the lowest votes would be elimintated. Their votes would be distributed amongst the remaining candidates. Aka, if the candidate with number 1 is voted on a sheet of the candidate who was eliminated, then if the candidate who is number 1 is rated on that sheet as number 2, they would win that vote. Other candidates would have the votes, if they were voted number 2 on the eliminated candidates sheet. If no-one has reached 50% yet, the process begins again, this time candidate with number 1 would get votes marked as number "3", same goes for the other candidates. And it will continue until one candidate has 50% of the vote. So in the end, a candidate could win even if they don't have 50% of the votes to themselves, because eliminated candidates votes could go to them, even if they were not the initial choice for that voter. You would in-fact vote for a candidate to win, and not particulary want them to win. Bit of a complicated system, which makes even more work for the vote counters. I've read both the "Yes" and "No" campaigns, which are found on the corresponding word. In my eyes, there is nothing wrong with the current system. It is simple, which is what is needed with the voters. By making things more complicated, it will deter voters in my opinion. Plus, as i mentioned above. It would prevent a joint government. I believe it won't, because a candidate would get clear votes to win. But, the party would need a majority of candidates to win voters in order to win government still. This part doesn't change. What do you peeps think about this?.

I'm actually very surprised that TNA still employ Jeff Hardy, that was the second time he was sent home due to not being in a fit state. Concerning that match vs Sting, TNA could have and should have prevented Jeff from coming out for the match, but they decided to send him out anyway. That is what annoys the fans with Jeff at the moment. His court-case still gets continuances each and everytime as well. And, i believe TNA have lost quite a number of fans since that disaster of a main event. They spent more time coming out for the match than actually wrestling. And i've tried countless times to "get" TNA, but time and time again it doesn't work. Yes, the action itself is better in places, but everything else sucks. That includes the storylines, the commentators and everything.

They could temporally change Cena to heel like they did with HBK before his match with Hogan. Turned HBK back to a babyface the night afterwards. Worked then, could work again. Not that it matters, Cena gets boo'd anyway.

To be fair, even though they were hyping Rock, Miz and Cena more throughout the nght, i thought the Triple H-Taker promo was done 10x better. I honestly didn't expect HBK to come out either, just goes to show that these two guys (Triple H and Taker) know how to do things right. However, the Rock, Miz and Cena promo. Meh really. I was expecting Rock to take it to Cena, but i guess WWE are saving that for Mania. I know they are giving Miz credibility, but that was a bit too much to be fair. And they buggered up with A-Ri, wasn't he fired/no longer allowed to be with Miz?. Unless i missed something, which i probably did. It was as i guessed with Cena and Rock. Cena gets booed, Rock gets cheered. Should have heard the boo's coming when Cena hit the AA, and the cheers with the Peoples Elbow hitting Miz. It's setting up for either Rock to hit both Miz and Cena with Rock Bottoms at Mania, or for Rock to either cost Cena the title/attack him after the match. I believe WWE know it makes sense to have Cena Rock bottomed at Mania, it will be more electrifying. Sorry, i should have modded Cena's name with "Homeless Power Ranger", classic!!. And Esequiel, i hope they don't do another one of them hand-over matches. I would love Rock to beat Cena and show he still has it, even though he ain't wrestled in years. Would be a sell-out, and would keep long-time fans happy.

This practically sums up Apples marketing/products in my opinion. Apple is too pricey for what it can do i think. I know, you can rant at that statement if you like. Apple bring out a new version of the current product, then leave the old model out at a similar price. Surely, if you are bringing out a new I-Pad you would discontinue making/distributing the older model. Ditto, i don't like Apple's stuff. It could be a "British" version, with socks and sandels as you said. For thos who have an I-Pad2, a solution to what to do with the I-Pad

Yeah, them as well.

What is the world coming to. Yes, now it is official that Rez is grammatically correct. I for one, well i don't like that these "words (if they can be classed as words) are in the dictionary. If i see a C.V with any of these words in, i will burn it. And, i'll join Ramar if "lyk" gets in. Can't stand that word either.

Don't we all, why waste another hour with lights off. If thats the case, move to mobiles/portable devices. Charged up before Earth hour, makes no difference.

Forgot to set tactics, got punished for not doing so. Definetly will be learning my lesson in the last couple of games, see if i can remain in the middle league.

And, more importantly. How can a bowl of cereal prepare you for a party??. Watched that news report, and i must find that parody they shown.

GTA : Amsterdam anyone?

I think the Zelda-Verse part of this has been done

That sucks dude, sorry to hear. I mean, why organise it so well at the start of the day then allow it to crumble at the end. Give out wrist-bands, then tell you that you are first to have SFIV signed. Na, i agree with other people. GAME have far better organisation skills for launch events, and this calamity just goes to show why HMV are cutting jobs and closing stores. They are completly useless at most things, except recommending crappy music and charge 3x the amount as their online store for the same item.

Like Dazz, i can't stand talking to people who speak "Chav". If you are trying to talk to me like that, i will ignore you. Or mention that i don't understand you in a way that you wouldn't understand, in English.

Other times i wash my hands include After using the toilet at home Before dinner After washing the dishes After putting the dishes in the dishwasher Before handling food Before handling raw meats After gardening After the housework I think thats about it.

I learn something new everyday. Considering i payed $25 for the DVD (box-set, can only get over the US) then they plonked £8 on top of that. So, ended up paying £20 (about $33). It's a bit of a jip that Customs check random packages, but i suppose they need to do that in the case it is a bomb. And a jip they slap a charge onto it for you to pay. Wonder if anyone snatched the item from Mr Postie and refused to pay the fee?. I'd put a guess on it being that Fed-Ex have a responsibility to make sure the package gets to you un-opened and un-tampered with. If it means skipping customs, so be it for them.
-
But, surprisingly better than "Friday"
-
With an item like that, you'd be very lucky if Customs don't actually open it up. If they do, that is when Mr Postman asks for money. To give you an idea of the cost, it was £8 when i ordered a DVD from the US.
