Yeah, it affected people who began Gears 3 early and did affect those who didn't take the 2mb update at the beginning, something that i did before playing. People had issues with not getting beta stuff and unlocks from previous titles, because of early play.

Made my afternoon this phonecall did. Some unknown number, obviously an "attempt" to get access to our home network and personal details. Couldn't help myself with what i said to the guy. My words are the italics "Good Afternoon sir, i'm "Dave*" from BT. I'm calling today to inform you that there is a huge virus/infection going around and you are currently infected" "Really, i did not know that" "Yes indeed. What i need you to do is to go on the computer for me and follow my instructions" "Can i stop you there, my computer does not have a virus thank-you very much, so i don't know where you are getting your information from" "How do you know sir, our systems are alerting us that you are currently infected" "I know i am, i do have a cold and thanks for pointing that out to me" "Don't be sarastic sir, i'm being serious and we need to fix this before things get out of hand. Please go to your computer and follow my instructions now" "I am a computer technician, and i can confirm there are no viruses on the system. I'm not going to my computer, i know for a fact about that." "Well, you are not a good technician because there is a virus and it needs sorting" "Don't take that tone with me, who-ever you are. Your information is incorrect and i suggest you hang-up now" "Please sir, i am trying to help you. If thats the case, who has a Gold Hammerburst in Gears 2??. Thats next weeks unlock apparantly. The Lancer unlocked for playing Gears 3 in the first week, which is nice. Looks 100x better than the Gold skin in Gear 2. Was having a look around in the marketplace. 3600ms for unlocking all skins. Sheesh, hefty price tag and one i will be missing out. I know you can unlock skins in Gears 3, got a Crimson skin unlocked today among the Gold for the Lancer and the Infected pack.

Yeah, it did make me think why the Slims don't come with HDMI cables. Bit pointless them consoles not having one, but still. Had a spare one, which works well. The Microsoft points were something of a bonus i believe, everything else was part of the deal. Which makes for one sweet deal if you don't mind me saying. Just wishing the Epic edition would speed up in getting here, bit annoying when 1/2 my friends list consists of people playing Gears 3. Even my mates, who ordered the Limited Edition from GAME is playing it.

Well, the code arrived for Commander Dom today. Should i input it now, or await Gears 3 tomorrow.

Aye, it was alright the game. Close score as well. Even though England beat Georgia, they certainly didn't play at their best. Sloppy play, too many penalties. They need to tighten up and play better in my opinion.

It's crap really. It's your property, you should be allowed to defend it. You're not in the wrong, the intruder is. I agree, you hear of the senior citizens attacking burglars and getting "praised" for it. But, if i attacked a burglar, i would probably be in jail for it. It's one of the "law for one, law for another" situations.

"Advised" on mine as well. With Express 24 delivery as well, so who knows when it will be arriving. If they bugger up, hope some compo arrives. City Link gave compo after they buggered up some stuff i ordered, got all my postage back and Amazon refunded an item.

When i was out of work, the job centre signed me up to 3 agencies without me knowing about it. So, you could guess i was "surprised" when i recieved calls for interviews for jobs i never applied for. Turned most of them down, because of locations and the fact that i had no idea about the job or anything. No prep time, that is the worst thing to do.

I only tend to look online and in the local j/c and around town for work. I avoid agencies for the life of me now.

Had a bad time with agency work, so i refuse to deal with them no matter how desperate times get. Basically putting, they arranged an interview for me at a local company a few months back. Gave me 30 minutes notice, of which i said that was impossible for me as i had to get home prepare some clothes and shower/shave etc. So they re-arranged it for 2 hours time, which was better. Too bad really, they forgot to change it with the employer, so i showed up 1 hour 30 late for an interview.

Mine will show up when-ever the delivery guy can be asked to put it in the van. Knowing my luck, i won't get it until Tuesday. Which is when i'll be playing it online.

Making a claim for Working Tax Credits, first time i've ever claimed for the stuff. How many people can say that the Government pay for you to get to work every week. Which is what i'm using this money for, earning £15k a year and getting a potential further £50 p/w on-top of my wages.
