Having a proper look through Windows 8 (yeah, i upgraded for £15 (thanks to the T+C's)). It's pretty quick, and i managed to get it to boot to desktop (thanks to a former N-E member in Jordan). My only gripe is that MS don't like the Aero glass and have removed the coding for that. Which is slightly annoying. I got the license code for it, and i have the disks for Windows 7 in my wardrobe in the need i feel a change back. It's heading that way i believe.

Blockbusters, meh. I'm more bothered abuot HMV. The highstreet needs more independant stores selling entertainment products. But as i said on Twitter earlier, if this is Mr Camerons idea of regeneration then i'd love to see recession.

@The Peeps. I can do the draw either Friday Saturday or Sunday nights/afternoons. Whichever is best for most people, at the moment i got nothing planned for the weekend. I was thinking Friday or Sunday evening around 7 or 8pm myself, but i'm happy if you want it earlier. I was thinking Friday as to allow people time to get the invites out for the matches.

Indeed, i was spotted by a HMV staff member doing this. They simply just said to me, and to be fair they were right. "If it's cheaper there, buy it there".

True, i tended to go into HMV and use the Amazon scanner to get the item for a lot cheaper than was offered in-store. For example, Game of Thrones on Blu-ray was £12 cheaper on Amazon than the £40 in HMV

Indeed, it is a sad day indeed. As much as i dislike HMV for it's service, there are only a few places left that sell DVD's, CD's and stuff. Thats IF HMV actually close, who knows they may not close. But didn't a Comet director join HMV well before Comet closed, maybe he did the same damage. HMV is a dying breed, and it's been said that online media for music has truly taken over. Places like Amazon have the balls of the market now.
