Yes I can see how you'd think you know more about a game than a magazine that has already played it to completion. :p I don't buy claims of anti-Nintendo bias either, I've always found EDGE to be very fair when it comes to reviews. Have they ever given Zelda a lower score than 9? Miyamoto drew their 100th issue cover as well. If they gave it a 6, then that's what they think it deserves. Not because they have some kind of agenda.

Episode 1 sucks. Episode 2/3 onward is brilliant. Also- Does Black Lagoon get any better or does it stay this dull? I'm up to episode seven or something and I'm pretty bored to be honest.

I used to buy N64/NGC all the time. I stopped around about the time they changed to NGamer. I'm not sure why. I buy EDGE and Games TM monthly and occasionally EGM.

Holy shit, just been watching some videos of people playing using the wheel. I take back anything I ever said about this game. It actually looks really, really fun. Smash Bros. and Mario Kart within a month of each other is pretty damn cool.

Yeah, that sounds good. In fact, that would be excellent. I'm afraid that this might just be a quick, lazy job in order to keep us happy whilst waiting for Smash Bros. (Well, all four people who haven't imported it!) but Mario Kart at it's worst is still a lot of fun. How is Play.com for delivering on release date anyone?

It doesn't need a big overhall, but it could certainly do with quite a few tweaks. The whole first place gets crap weapons, last place gets awesome ones is bullshit and has been for years, for example. Edit- Holy hell! This is out on friday? I assumed it was still in a very, very early state. Why does it look like a PS2 launch game?

Uh, probably not. It's a bit simpler and the mini games are excellent but probably not £35 better... Excellent game if you don't have VT3 though. :p

Oh yeah, Gamecube games. :p 10. Resident Evil 4 I don't think I have anything that hasn't been said better by it's millions of raving fans. 9. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door A funny pick up and play game. Not the deepest RPG ever made, but it isn't trying to be. I was smiling constantly throughout. Shame about Super Paper Mario. :p 8. Resident Evil: Code Veronica Yes, it's a Dreamcast port. But it's definitely the most engrossing and enjoyable game in the Resi series. Some genuine scary moments too. 7. Zelda: Wind Waker Second best Zelda after Majora's Mask. WW did what a lot of Zelda's couldn't. Make me give a crap about the characters and the land I'm supposed to be saving. Link had so much character despite never saying a word, it's amazing. One of the most beautiful games I've ever played. 6. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Better than the original, I don't care what anyone says. 5. Pikmin 2 Better than the original in every single way. It's the only RTS I don't find horribly monotonous and boring. Just plain fun. 4. Ikaruga One of the best SHUMP's ever made. Almost up there with the best of CAVE. Addictive, awe inspiring and a little bit difficult. 3. Killer 7 Interesting and utterly weird comment on the relationship between East and West. It made me think about the plot for ages and read an entire book about it. If a game stays in your mind years after release, it's good. 2. Skies of Arcadia Yes, another Dreamcast port. But what a game! I've never loved a cast of characters like I have the Blue Rogues. The battle system is old hat and random battles occur far too often (Although thankfully not half as much as the DC version) but when you genuinely care for the characters and the world they live in, it doesn't matter. 1. Metroid Prime Absolutely perfectly designed in every way. Easily one of the greatest adventure games ever made. The sense of isolation on this bizzare alien world has yet to be topped. Honorable mentions: Super Monkey Ball, Smash Bros. Melee, Timesplitters 2, Fire Emblem, Viewtiful Joe and Eternal Darkness are all excellent.

I don't suppose anyone else is playing Sega Superstars Tennis? The online is dead already,which is a shame because it's a really good tennis game. Having Beat and Gum in it hasn't affected my judgment at all. No.

Majora's Mask is probably the best Zelda game imo. It was a hell of a lot more interesting than the usual 'find three items, plot point then find find 5/6 more items' that Zelda has been doing for an eternity now. Termina also had a lot more character than Hyrule. Because, well, it had more characters. They weren't just generic NPC's that only had one thing to say, a lot of them had interesting and engrossing back stories. Then again, what do I know? I thought Wind Waker was better than OOT and TP was the second worst Zelda after Zelda 2. :p

Is Dark Sector any good? Been thinking about picking it up.

Transmorphers- Not as bad as I'd hoped (Who doesn't love to watch a bad movie every once in a while?). It has very little to do with Transformers other than the title really. It's more like a really, really cheap Starship Troopers. If it had a little more money it might have made a half way decent B movie, but as it is- 4/10 Only slightly worse than Transformers.

Class doesn't even begin to describe it. Probably my favourite show. Up there with Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Battlestar Galactica at the very least.

I'm tempted too. I heard it was absolutely shit. But still, it's Battlestar Galactica...

Azumanga Daioh and Ichigo Mashimaro are my most favouritest anime's ever.
