This doesn't surprise me, after all Diddy Kong is a top-tier character (along with R.O.B and any other character that can materialise items ). The banana peels, obviously. Anyway, having finally summoned the remaining few spirits that I needed and collected the LABO ones, I now have the complete collection of 1336! Was stuck at 1335 for a while which was annoying, before realising I was missing Dracula. Seems that particular Spirit can only be obtained via WoL, so once you enhance it to Soma Cruz the only way to get Dracula back in your collection is to re-obtain it from WoL. Still working on getting them all to Lv.99, but have run out of snacks. So Doc Louis is going to have to help out a bit with that. Having spent time looking through the spirit list recently though, I'm really surprised that they're not also usable as profile icons for your Smash Tag. Seems so strange to have a limited selection of images for that purpose when the game already has thousands of varied icons that would be perfect for it.

Yep, here's video evidence:

@Glen-i @BowserBasher I won’t be able to make it this week now (and potentially next week too, will let you know) so I’m out.

The new game from Shin’en seems interesting, kinda looks like mini BotW Shrine puzzles, which I can definitely dig. Some lovely visual elements too, as is always the case with Shin’en. Will be keeping a close eye on that one.

You’re clearly not familiar with any of my “formidable” Pokémon teams. No evolved/ugly Pokémon allowed! I loved the special message for his friends and family too.

So I tuned into this after seeing you lot chatting about it, didn’t really get what was going on in the battle but glad I stuck around for that interview, absolutely hilarious!

Yay! And it only took me 48 attempts.

Nice. Shame Twitter videos always look like complete turd though, absolutely atrocious compression! -
Man, it's about time!

Super Mario Maker 2 - Level Share/Feedback thread

I did like it. Well, apart from the brutal cruelty towards poor Yoshi. I've kind of lost my Mario Making mojo at the moment unfortunately... Have several levels on the go, but just can't seem to focus on, or finish any of them. Probably best to take a bit of a break from the creation process and play other people's stuff instead. Hopefully the multiplayer with friends update will arrive soon too. -
Really enjoying the online tourney mode in this. Yet to win a tourney (probably never will ) but it's a lot of fun taking part. The only thing that's not so great is how you can't spectate live and have to wait for replays to become available, but even so it's been a fantastic addition to the game. Anyone else getting into tourneys, or managed to win any?

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, that was very interesting indeed! I wasn't familiar with Tant-R before now, but having seen it in that video (and some others on YouTube) there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that it heavily inspired WarioWare. Hell, some of the games are pretty much a direct copy! I'd love to play that at some point. Would be great if it made it to Switch as part of the Sega Ages series.

Yeah, cheers for the games last night. I was absolutely cracking up during one of the earlier fights against @Glen-i (he was Zelda and I was Dr. Mario) where I managed to fluke 2 fully charged Home-Run Bat hits (one of which was completely blind) from the secret area of my custom Pikmin stage! 150 HP to KO in an instant. *EDIT* That moment: -

Any interest in some more “hardcore menu action”, at say 8pm? -

But yeah, if you are reading this @Sprout, you should join us more often for Smash Bros. Someone has to keep Glen-i awake. -

Cheers for the games everyone! Hero seems to completely break many of my custom stages. It's apparently impossible to escape the F-Zero logo, and why the hell does he spawn inside the Monado!? Oh well, it all adds to the fun. -

Those of you that have played my latest level (Wrath of the Wigglers) how did you find it difficulty-wise? I'm noticing that the clear times on it are pretty lengthy, so I'm wondering if it's perhaps too tough? -
Yep. There's going to be a lot of that going on now anyway, what with Hero's down B. On the subject of silly Smash Bros., any post-MK8 shenanigans planned for tonight? *EDIT* Never mind, just seen the other thread.

Nope. I hide a Baby Face in every one of my levels though. Not much of a theme/story/mechanic I know, but hey, technically it ties multiple levels together.

Cheers. Yeah, I managed to get all the ones I was missing yesterday! Any sign of the Link’s Awakening ones that you needed? If not I guess they’ll show up when Banjo arrives.
