Same here. My updated list of favourite MK games (since playing Arcade GP 2) from the retro board: What makes you say that? I actually think it took the series a step back by messing with the mechanics too much, removing the jump was a big mistake.
-
Yeah I know, hence the "" Me thinks they have plenty of ace cards left, let's just hope we get to see some of them at this years E3 ey?
-
Good enough for me! From the screens it looks like it'll just be based around discovering and collecting data on all the various sea life to fill up a chart (a la Animal Crossing), although it does seem to hint towards some kind of virtual pet aspect too on those screens with the floating hand. Either way it's likely to be one of the most relaxing games ever.

OK Bard, time for a chill pill mate.

As long as you've beaten the game at least once yeah. Nah, weapons and items only get carried over to a new game for the same difficulty level. It would ruin pro mode really if you got to keep all your stuff from easy or normal.
-
I've started pro mode now, with special costume 2. It's a shame Leon reverts to the standard costume in the cut scenes though. Also picked up the Chicago Typewriter on Separate Ways, love that gun. Actually I noticed something on the credits for SW that I didn't spot the first time round...

Love both franchises, but I definitely prefer Mario Kart to Smash Bros. So yeah I'd be very happy if we do get MK this year. Hopefully Nintendo have made it more like the original / DS and less like Double Dash. Guess we'll know in a few days! They should really hurry up and get the SNES version on the VC too.
-
Yeah I finished it earlier today, final time was 03:11:57. The last chapter was longer than I expected, pretty tough at times too. I was surprised when...

Oh man I need this game. Looks absolutely stunning. Here's hoping for info of a western release at E3.

Finished this a couple of days ago, been playing all the extra stuff since. Separate Ways is really cool, not much to it though which is a shame, I'm up to the last chapter and only around 01:30 on the clock. Still it's great to see how it all ties in with the main story and seeing Leon running about while you're playing as Ada is pretty funny, but not as funny as...

Yeah it's the same for me: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=489273&postcount=939 Capcom skimped out on true widescreen unfortunately. I love that bit! :awesome: I'm up to the part where you escape down the waste disposal, got two bastard Iron Maiden Regenerators down there and no infrared scope, gonna be fun. Seriously loving the controls, there's just no going back to analog once you get used to Wii Remote aiming. One part that really made that stand out (apart from the shooting range) was in the garden maze, had four of those crazy wolf things in front of me all randomly jumping in quick succession and I was able to flick the cursor between them as they attacked and hit every time with the pistol, The speed and precision is amazing, there's just no way I'd have been able to do that with the traditional control scheme. Here's hoping we see more third person games with a similar set-up in the future.

I don't think it has anything to do with the settings, my TV is set to 16:9 and I never change it.Check out these shots for comparison: The settings remained the same throughout, both normal TV and the Wii menu display in full 16:9, but RE4 has a visible border around the image. It's still an improvement on the GCN version anyway so I'm not too bothered. Forgot to mention earlier, but I've also noticed that the load times are much quicker now, Capcom have removed the "loading..." screen too.

Just got up to El Gigante, I'm actually really enjoying playing this again. Controls are really simple, had the turning / aiming thing down after a few minutes, (although I've managed to get in a muddle a couple of times when I was surrounded ) I like how the knife now kind of auto-aims to boxes and stuff, very handy. You can still manually aim it by the way. Using the Wii Remote in the action scenes is also really cool, reckon people that are completely new to the game will definitely get an extra kick out of it. The game looks great in 480p, but here comes the bad news... The 16:9 isn't quite as "true" as they've been making it out to be. Yep, I was pretty disappointed to discover that it doesn't fill the entire screen (there's about an inch either side, like Excite Truck) still it's better than the 16:9 within a 4:3 frame of the GCN game as you don't have to use the TV's zoom feature which means it looks a lot sharper. Playing on Normal mode right now but it seems to be a little bit harder than I remember on the GCN version, or maybe it's just I'm out of practice. Anyway, can't wait to unlock Separate Ways! :awesome:

Mine has just arrived from good old Gameplay.

I was starting to think the same thing! Nice to hear from another fan though, and yeah I had 'CJ in the USA' too.
-
Re-named the thread. I'm seriously looking forward to this game. And yeah, here's hoping it does well in Europe.

Sweet Zelda Medley! The soundtrack for this game is pretty much guaranteed to be a huge seller.

Strike! Royal Mail Censor Resident Evil 4

Hopefully Gameplay will be on the ball and dispatch on Wednesday. I'm actually pretty excited for RE4 now, something I thought would've been impossible a while back. Think it's mainly because I've been losing interest in Mario Strikers. -
Never saw those screen shots. Anyway, here's hoping we see something on this at E3!
-
Absolutely, they make really high quality stuff. I got my black Hori digital pad from Play-Asia (also out of stock now) it's an awesome pad. Reckon the Classic controller is still better for SNES VC games though purely because of the button layout.
-
Yeah that would indeed be great. I did read sometime ago that there was a new Space Channel 5 game in development, (or at least being planned) but it was unknown for which system. They'd be crazy not to make it for Wii though.
-
It is pretty cluttered but I seem to remember early shots of Killer 7 being the same, so maybe they'll tone them down a bit.Liking the retro style to them though, like the heart in the top left. Same here, they really should have included minutes too. *EDIT* The site is up now. Doesn't seem to be much to it though.

These be my most wanted games for Wiimakes (sorry). Click on some of the titles for YouTube goodness. Just too perfect for the Wii control scheme, reckon it would play like a dream using the Wii Remote to point and shoot. Unfortunately I’ve only ever played it (and the sequel) briefly on friend’s consoles, so I’d even be happy with just a port of the Dreamcast / PS2 version. I absolutely love the soundtrack for this game. Was hoping we would have this already after the light plane demo at E3, last I heard it had become part of Wii Motor Sports or something like that. Anyway, this is easily the most likely to become a reality from my list, and I can’t wait. 3/ Giftpia. Don’t know all that much about this game except that it’s from the same developer as Chibi-Robo, and that it’s apparently like Animal Crossing so that’s good enough for me already. I keep going on about it but with good reason I assure you. One of the most humorous franchises ever, and I think it has a lot of potential as a Wii game. Using the Wii Remote as Goemon’s pipe or controlling Impact’s punches with the Nunchuck and Remote would be awesome. 5/ Mario Artist. If I ever manage to get my hands on a DD, this would be my first purchase for it. I remember seeing it on Gamesmaster years ago and thinking it looked fantastic, like Mario Paint but on steroids! Again this would be perfect for Wii Remote controls (see doodling in the Photo Channel for proof) and Wi-Fi Connection could be implemented to share work in an online gallery. Classic C64 platform game that I used to absolutely adore, think it’d be pretty funny if this one made a comeback. Could even make it first person and use the Wii Remote (like in WarioWare) to aim and shoot the peanuts! Check the vid for this one to hear some amazing sid chip music! 7/ Snare. Another game I had for the C64. Don’t remember that much about it, apart from it was kind of like a cross between a puzzle game and a shoot-em’-up. But I recall it being incredibly difficult and very addictive. Really fun take on crazy golf with Kirby as the ball. Was extremely rewarding getting a hole in one on this game as you had to plan all the angles / spin / power before hand but could still affect movement after the shot making for some crazy paths to the hole.

Wow, simultaneous gambling and violence. The BBFC are gonna love this one!

Wow, Paper Mario date at last! Was expecting / hoping we'd get it in August. Oh well, at least it's this year ey!?
