  1. OK, might use hammer this time. *EDIT* Damn, that confusion thingy is well annoying. Was the first time I ever fought that thing.
  2. Yep, just joined.
  3. Insanity! Absolute insanity! BTW, send any potential highlight moments to Dcubed, as he's editing the vid this week.
  4. Wow, the intro movie on this is stunning! Taken on the first monster a few times now, first as the prowler, which didn't go well at all. Yeah, I'm guessing the fact that you have unlimited stamina, and can immediately revive when playing as a cat had to be balanced by making their attacks weaker. I then jumped into the same hunt with a regular hunter (using my MH weapon of choice, the hammer) and completely destroyed the thing! Gave it another go as the cat afterwards though, and definitely did better than the first time. I'm sure it'll still be a lot of fun to play as the prowler, especially online and in more of a support role. Hopefully there will be some stupidly overpowered gear/weapons available for it too. I'll be up for some hunts after MK tonight, if you don't mind hunting alongside a useless cat.
  5. So long as this game eases up on the really random puzzle aspects (including the boss fights ) that were in Sticker Star, I'll be happy. Then again I don't have such affinity with the earlier games in the series as most people do, so I'm very much cool with Paper Mario becoming less RPG and more of an action game. Hopefully the humour is up to scratch in Colour Splash. It made me chuckle a few times already on the Treehouse stream though, so it's looking good.
  6. Didn't get much of a chance to play this yet, but will be getting stuck into it today. I'm definitely back on the MH hype train though. Getting to hunt as a cat is just far too awesome to pass up.
  7. So what's going on, digital only release in the US? Trailer:
  8. This was completely off the radar for me, but Treehouse Live has done it again. Looks amazing. Trailer:
  9. The codes going out for us too, or is it just America?

  11. Man, stop being such a downer and take your Joy!
  12. Yeah, they focused on many different things in the various segments though, and it just got better and better as the stream went on. Treehouse live really is a great format for E3. :awesome:
  13. "Luckily" (with my amazing sieve memory) I won't have this problem.
  14. Only watching the trailer or just reading about the game isn't going to impress you (the trailer isn't actually very good at all ) the Treehouse gameplay, however, did an amazing job of showcasing the game, and demonstrating why it's so damn good. Hat's off to you for not watching though, really wish I had that willpower.
  15. ... Love it. Welcome to the dark side.
  16. Well, that's the impression I get. You're right though, if it changes too much then it may as well be another franchise.Anyway, it's difficult to tell from such a small demo, perhaps the final product will have more of a Resi vibe to it.
  17. Hehehe! It seemed very odd initially, but I have to admit, it really grew on me during the stream. I actually love it now and hope it'll be final.
  18. A bit more to it than that. Stolen from Neogaf:
  19. I ain't got time to read when they're showing awesome new Zelda footage!
  20. Yeah, it's good they're not really revealing any story elements at all, and just focused on the stuff you'll be doing in the overworld. With my memory I'll definitely have forgotten most of it by the time the game comes out. Spot-on about that Monster Hunter vibe too. *EDIT* One thing I am slightly annoyed about is that I now need to buy the TP remaster/amiibo. Or perhaps you can just use the Wolf Link amiibo in Breath of the Wild without any TP data saved on it?
  21. Had a go on the demo earlier. It didn't feel like a Resi game to me at all, but I guess that's a good thing at this point, and what most people want. It played well though, looks pretty good and has a great atmosphere. It'll obviously be an amazing experience in VR. :awesome:
  22. Yep, by a country mile too. :awesome:
  23. I've only just managed to tear myself away from the treehouse stream, needless to say my mind has been well and truly blown. Not been this excited for a Nintendo game in a long time, and it feels really great to have this kind of anticipation for one of their titles again. Up until now I really did think they were crazy to attend E3 with basically 1 game, but the last few hours have clearly shown why they had the confidence to do just that, Zelda Breath of the Wild is absolutely incredible! It appears to be the perfect blend of elements from every other Zelda game, combined with a multitude of interesting new ideas and gameplay mechanics, all brought together with the most beautiful presentation. It genuinely is like the artwork from the NES original come to life! Based on what I've seen tonight I honestly believe this will be one of the greatest games Nintendo ever produce, and almost certainly the best in the Zelda series. The wait for this game is going to be brutal.
  24. Great news!
