  1. Man, I am loving this game! It's pure arcade racing goodness. Dat feeling when you earn a Trackmaster medal in one hit: :awesome: And the hilarity when pretty much everyone (myself included ) fucks up on the first obstacle in an online game: Shame there doesn't seem to be many N-E peeps with the game though, is it really just Cookyman, S.C.G. and myself that are playing this?
  2. The IN! list: ■ = always IN! The Mole Kounan punio75 Brian58 BowserBasher Bullet Will RedShell Wii nekunando Glen-i S.C.G Dcubed Oh BTW, I've not forgotten about the highlight vid, just taking a bit longer this time due to there being twice the footage.
  3. Sorry for the delay folks, but here's the next theme!
  4. I'll take that ASA code off you, if it's still up for grabs.
  5. Hahaha! Oh man, that was classic!:laughing: Dcubed, that idea for the final was absolutely phenomenal. Thanks for another fantastic tourney guys! : peace:
  6. seems to be working now
  7. Stream isn't working for me
  8. Looking forward to some Craaaaazy Smash! BTW, @Dcubed, are you going to be archiving the livestream separately from the highlights this time too? Would love to watch all of the "professionalism" again. Seriously though, great job with this. Such a shame more peeps aren't into it. To everyone not taking part... What's wrong with you?
  9. @BowserBasher, just checked again and the 4 you posted have now appeared in MKTV. So yeah, there's just a delay. Please add the rest whenever you can. : peace:
  10. I can see your Miiverse posts, but nothing is showing up in MKTV, still just got WelshGamer's one. Perhaps there's a bit of a delay? Will check again tomorrow and let you know.
  11. Had a quick go on the 3DS version earlier, really cute game. And yeah, that title screen is rad. Are both Wii U and 3DS versions identical in terms of content?
  12. You've got a point, so I might take a look at the weekend. Cheers for letting us know where to find it anyway. : peace:
  13. Cool. Just remember not to play anymore MK8 before then, or you'll lose the MKTV data from tonight's races.
  14. Will check it out, cheers.
  15. Thanks for waiting. Not sure what was up there. As for highlights for Group 2, we'd need the MKTV data really. Isn't there a way to upload/send it though? Pretty sure there's a Friends section in MKTV specifically for that. *EDIT* Just checked it, and yeah there's a replay in there from WelshGamer. So @BowserBasher, if you could get a replay from each race uploaded in there (there are 6 folders so plenty of room) I could see about incorporating some action from G2 into the highlight vid.
  16. Crap! Something is up with my connection.
  17. I think the digital price is still £30, although I imagine it'll drop pretty soon. In fact, this has got potential PS+ game all over it I reckon, but I'd rather get into it now than wait for either of those outcomes anyway. And I will be later on today, as my copy has already arrived! Hehehe. Yeah, I remember getting seriously addicted to one of the PC versions of Trackmania. Just 1 more go turns into 100 (or more ) very easily.
  18. Nope. I actually thought it was accessed by the other tombstones that I checked out yesterday, but they took me to the chalice dungeons instead. I know there are a few more near those ones though, so I'm guessing it's accessed by them, right? Anyway, I might have a bit of a break now before checking that stuff out. Just got Trackmania Turbo too, and I'm looking forward to playing that.
  19. Hehehe! It was, yeah.Oh man. Cheers for that. Will definitely try to make more use of the other stances now. Yeah, I've already made this mistake. Ran all the way back to the shrine once, thinking "I'll be safe here" LOL... no. BTW, does this demo become unplayable after the 5th of May, or is that just the deadline for unlocking the DLC?
  20. I finally made it to a boss looking enemy last night, but it destroyed me within seconds! The more I play this though, the more I like it. Yeah, it's absolutely brutal, especially if you get surrounded, but that just makes it all the more satisfying when you play well. I really like how it handles stealth too, being sneaky doesn't feel forced or clunky like it often does in many games, and instead flows very smoothly with the rest of the gameplay. Managed to pick up a bow as well, which further enhances that aspect of the game. Still not exactly sure what I'm doing when it comes to stances though, I pretty much just keep it set to the high stance at all times and go for powerful attacks, then back off a bit and repeat. Finishing an enemy off with that spinning sword attack is so satisfying! Another cool thing I noticed is that if you fight an enemy near an edge, they can actually lose their balance and fall off! They do a one footed balancing animation beforehand, which is hilarious.
  21. Think so, yeah. I believe you then move on to a different set of races (for older horses), and after that it can be used for breeding. Don't reckon leveling up will be wasted though, as those stats must come into play when creating new horses.
  22. I'm still really disappointed that they don't appear to be doing any more DLC for MK8. Another set of tracks and even more characters would've been great. You'd think they would've been all over the idea too, seeing as how successful the first batch was.
  23. I believe it can also depend on the running style of your horse, some are suited for long distance, others do better on shorter tracks. How well you do at the start of a race is very important too, not just getting a card with a lot of orbs on it, but the speed in which you get it will make a big difference to the amount of energy you earn early on. If you take too long and end up outside all of the comfort zones you're pretty much screwed for that race. Then there's following the optimal racing line on turns to avoid stamina loss, that's something I often forget to pay attention to, and that seems like it can mess you up pretty badly as well. I actually don't mind that the gameplay isn't as simplistic as the presentation of the game would suggest. Yes there's quite a lot to take in, but over time I'm sure it will all become second nature and the game will be a lot more fun and rewarding for it. Anyway, I reached the end of my 2nd playthrough of the demo the other day. Managed to nab another trophy in the process, bringing the total up to 3. Almost got a 4th but really screwed up on the start of that race, so it wasn't to be. Will be keeping this save data for transfer to the full game.
  24. Credits rolled on this last night, although I took the easy option in the end...
  25. So it appears the copies that are out there already were actually stolen, rather than sent out early by Amazon or anywhere else. Man, spoilers are going to be all over the place soon. Those that are trying to stay clear of that kind of stuff might want to unplug for a couple of weeks.
