Prepare to wet your pants! If it's true of course. Rumour is that first up in the Direct is a new Metroid game for the 3DS. Developed by Intelligent Systems, 2D in a 2.5D style. Release date is early 2015. Salt, people. Have your salt ready just in case.

I say the poster is real and it falls in line with the much touted rumoured release date.

On the Argos website it says that the game was released on 7 March 2014. I have wondered how come there's been a sudden influx of this game. Has anybody bought it from there lately and could they check the back of the box for the year? How come they chose this game? Would they not reprint more popular or hard to come by cheaply games?

Thinking more about tomorrows Nintendo Direct, I think it could be good. The last 2 at the start of the year have been fairly good, last years more so. They'll want to start the year off with a bang. They have a lot of things to show and discuss.

Did you find any music at all in your 100+ hours of sieving through this bile? I heard Yoshi became violently ill and had to be rushed to hospital after coming into contact with Wii Music. That's why it's not in the "game". :p You shouldn't have mentioned me.

I'm not buying a ticket for the hype train though. I think we know what'll be shown. If there's some surprises in there that would be nice.

Famitsu have reviewed Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and given it 8/8/9/9. 34/40 or 85%. I'm betting the games length lost it some points.

Galaxy 2 is definitely better. Mario and story are 2 words I would not associate together. Seriously how is this allowed? Everyone else has their opinion but you single me out? In terms of impact, absolutely. It'd probably be number 1, no it would be nailed on. But as 1 of the 10 best Wii games? I don't think so. It feels like a demo, it is a demo.

Added to the above reasons is 8 million Wii U's versus >45 million 3DS's. I too would like to see it on the Wii U instead.

Metroid Prime Trilogy should replace Metroid Prime 3. Silent Hill and Skyward Sword should be chopped and replaced with Monster Hunter 3 and maybe Rayman Origins.
