I knew there'd be people that didn't or wouldn't like it. It's a bit sadistic and can require a lot of patience. I won't lie, I've used Youtube a couple of times when I was stumped but I like these kind of games. It could do with some tutorials at the start but once you get into it it's very satisfying.

General Gaming Sales/Charts Discussion
Wii replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in General Gaming Discussion
This weeks UK sales chart is out. http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&ct=110015 Still no sign of Captain Toad. It's not even on the Wii U specific chart. Are they hoarding the sales information until it's official release date at which point it'll be its 3rd week technically on sale and is that even possible or allowed? I'll have the respective chart images up shortly. Smash Bros. Wii U is clinging on in there. Also, how does MK8 make it into the all formats chart but not the individual chart? -
Yes, it was probably a bit extreme. I am annoyed though. Buying all these games to qualify for a €5 Premium Network activation code, coming up 14 points short and here's the €5 off on this game alone. Just a bit frustrating. I was holding off on buying Metroid Fusion to make up the difference until this weeks deals were announced when it was Shovel Knight I should have been waiting to see if it was reduced before buying. I still haven't started it either. Been playing chess and Toki Tori 2. That game is deceitful. It looks like a kids game, however, it's anything but. Some of the puzzles are real mind benders. I think it's a terrific game and only €3. It's one of my GOTY regardless of the fact it's so cheap and didn't come out this year. If you haven't bought Toki Toki 2, do so. You won't regret it. Ingenious puzzles, beautiful graphics and some lovely music.

This week’s Nintendo downloads are as follows: Wii U Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (from January 2nd) – €39.99/£34.99 Wii U VC Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones (GBA) – €6.99/£6.29 F-Zero GP Legend (GBA) – €6.99/£6.29 Wii U Special Offers New Super Mario Bros. U & New Super Luigi U – €59.99/£49.99 (Ends January 8)* *New Super Luigi U is a free download if you buy New Super Mario Bros. U off the eShop until January 8th Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate – €29.99/£24.99 (Ends January 8) Shovel Knight – €9.99/£8.66 (Ends January 8th) Sickened about the price reduction for Shovel Knight after only buying it last week. That's the last time I help out an indie developer by buying their game at full price. Also that New Super Mario Bros. U & New Super Luigi U at €59.99 isn't a good deal. It's freely available in CEX for €32.

F*cking disgusted. Shovel Knight is reduced this week and after me only buying last week. Shovel Knight – €9.99/£8.66 (Ends January 8th) It's normally €15 and the price drop is for both the Wii U and 3DS. That's the last time I help out an indie developer by buying their game at full price.

http://mynintendonews.com/2014/12/27/wii-u-has-apparently-sold-8-million-units-worldwide-since-launch-in-2012/ I reached the milestone as of December 13, 2014, where it sold 220,529 units for the week. -
I'm not buying Duck Hunt. It looks so boring and easy now. I've bought nearly everything I want from the eShop. There's only a couple of GBA games there but I wanted to wait for a sale on them. I've to spend €2 more to get €5. Metroid Fusion it'll have to be. Not a bad thing to be forced into buying.

I'm 14 points shy of a voucher. Aarrgghhh!!!

Are people enjoying Duck Hunt as much as they did back in the day? It seems really easy now. Even with the cursor off. Video Tour - Duck Hunt (Wii U eShop)

You're right. It should just be Club Nintendo members.

Got this e-mail from Nintendo this morning. If any of you win I'd like one of the prizes please as a thanks for the heads up. And no, as tempting as it is I wouldn't choose the Luigi hat. :p You have until New Years Eve to enter. Win the Stars of 2014 - Limited Edition Consoles, Mario Kart 8 and more! https://store.nintendo.co.uk/ninint/competition.account?comp=win2014&utm_source=ENNIN-WinTheStars&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ENNIN-WinTheStars&affil=thgemail Reading the terms: Competitions are only open to residents of the UK. FFS Nintendo, Irish residents better be eligible for this. I'm sick of being excluded from everything. And if we're not why the hell would you send me the e-mail?

I seen the 24 hours notice. I think I'll need at least another couple of purchases to get the €5 discount. Not getting many points for these games on sale.
-
Is anyone else finding that their recent Nintendo Premium Network points aren't showing up when they login? I bought 3 games yesterday and the day before on the eShop but there's no sign of them on my page. https://p.nintendo.net/index.html

There's a string of words I never thought I'd see together. :p

Have you seen the comparison clips of their use here? http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/axyj/amiibo/index.html I think it's a lot better than some of their implementation in other games so far. And as I said using them gives you a good advantage over non owners. We still don't know what they do in Captain Toad. As for the 28 levels, yes I agree but they'll argue that it's a "budget" game.

Xenoblade Chronicles X - full version of the E3 2013 trailer music http://xenobladex.jp/ Awesome piece of music. Another example of why this is my most anticipated game of next year.

There is. You get a Toad stamp.
-
Well good luck to you, I hope you find more joy than others did. It's the worst reviewed Wii U retail game on Metacritic at 32%. Could always be worse.
