  1. Just came here to post that news. This is very serious. Heads are going to roll I feel this time. I like Iwata, let Reggie take the blame, I can't stand him anymore. Another loss, it won't be accepted this time especially after the speeches made last time. Shareholders are going to demand action. It's been mistake after mistake and the book has to stop somewhere.
  2. Devastated to hear the news this evening. Didn't realise he had cancer. They were meant to record an episode of Only Fools and Horses in March, first one in 10 years. If they go ahead with it, it just won't be the same without him. 69 years isn't bad but definitely could and should have been more. R.I.P Trigger.
  3. Wii U sold somewhere between 460K and 643K for December. I wouldn't say it's by no means a disaster but it's not Earth shattering either. Might get a more concrete number as the day goes on. Aquamarine, on NeoGAF says that Wii U December sales are about 481,000. FE: Awakening is the first title in the series to cross the million mark. More LTD: Sonic Lost World - 82k Wonderful 101 - 49k Pikmin 3 - 210k Game & Wario - 36k Monster Hunter 3 U - 93k LEGO City Undercover - 242k Rayman Legends WiiU - 88k 360 - 42k PS3 - 30k Ubisoft must be regretting that 6 month wait. It beat the PS3 and 360 versions combined. Had Ubisoft released the game as an exclusive and back when it was originally intended I'd wager that number would be higher than 88k. Resident Evil Revelations 360 - 55k PS3 - 53k WiiU - 13k Not good but I'd put some of this down to Wii U owners being 3DS owners and already having the game. 4. This mornings picture looks like Mario's trying to sneak by the lunatic asylum. Donkey Kong's shrugging his shoulders and saying "I don't know why I'm here, I must be bananas"! King Dedede is saying "I must have been cracked when I was younger"! Finally, Bowser has multiple split personalities "I'm a turtle, I'm a bull, I'm the Holiday Armadillo"!
  5. Happy Birthday! When you blow out them candles you'd best cross your fingers and toes and wish with all your might that United get that last Europa League spot. Still won't happen though mind you, so on second thoughts you'd best ask for something realistic like Loch Ness monster, lotto, immortality, etc. Have a good one!
  6. As has been mentioned Kororinpa is now owned by Konami so eh, good luck with that. Nintendo or somebody else could make an equivalent or better. There's no trademark on marbles as far as I'm aware. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. It is a perfect genre for the gamepad. Even a sub game with morphball Samus could be great. Another game that would be great would be Knightmare. Think about it, spellcasting, use the mic, write on screen. Your helmet wearing character can see what's directly below them and when you pick objects they can be seen on the gamepad. Well that game or something like that. Games like Monkey Island, Another Code: R and was it called Hotel Dusk now more than ever would be perfect on Wii U. Battalion Wars and Command & Conquer. There's loads of possibilities but nothing's happening. What the point of the gamepad if you don't even try? I think I said it long ago, it's like hiring Da Vinci to draw stick figures. Expensive and a complete waste of his skills. The gamepad is a blank canvas and the only limits is the developers imagination. Grow a pair Nintendo and 3rd parties and make it happen. That especially goes to Nintendo and their conservative ways of late. If you don't bother why should anybody else? Lead the way as you've done so many times over the years. Microsoft and Sony are like the perennial copycats, they've copied the hardware again but it's like they're waiting for Nintendo to show them what to do with it. If Nintendo strike gold like last generation they'll be on it like a shot.
  7. Might as well make the most of the thread.
  8. Please do. Why have a Ferrari if you're going to do this? What a waste in both instances.
  9. I started Links Crossbow Training on Monday night at around 9 and an hour later, yes 1 hour later I had completed it. I replayed it a few times to try and get Platinum medals. It's an enjoyable game but it could have been so much more. Blowing up pots, crates, pumpkins, armour, etc. was fairly pointless. If, however, it had been more like the Resident Evil Chronicles games with unlocking artwork, more weapons, music samples, files and information on previous Zelda games it would have been more rewarding. I would have been annoyed with the length and depth of this game, calling it a demo is even a stretch but luckily I only paid the princely sum of €1.50. So I can't complain too much. A fleshed out sequel for Wii U with online multiplayer and leaderboards would be very welcome. I think using the gamepads gyro to aim would be a good feature too like NintendoLand.
  10. What is todays image? I don't recognise her and I don't see any explanation. Some assist trophy no doubt. Royalty of some kind?
  11. The fishing in Twilight Princess is great fun and that was only a mini-game. I'd love for Nintendo to release a fully fledged fishing game. I've loved all the fishing mini games in Zelda starting with Links Awakening. I've never played Sega Bass fishing. I've always imagined it's very Americanised with just lure fishing and very limited species if not just the Bass. It definitely helps that I go fishing for real, mostly coarse fishing.
  12. That w@nkb@g Penaldo won the Ballon D'or award. Scum. I'm only sorry Messi was injured for so long and before that playing through injury. It was a sham to have the voting extended this year and just so happened to include the WC play-offs.
  13. I seen the goal on MOTD2. Hart made more effort in his protests than he did to save it. It was a terrific strike and he wouldn't have saved it, Gouffran or no Gouffran.
  14. Music? What music? Couldn't hear it and was forgettable. The harp was awful. Swing left, swing right. Rubbish, did they borrow that from Wii Music? Collecting a piece of tumble weed for the 1,000th time and being told like it's the first. Conversations were slow and couldn't be skipped. A giant purse as a reward for healing that underground freak in Skyloft. Thanks. Not a fan of the stamina meter either. So much wrong with this game. I honestly feel like Nintendo didn't try, they probably thought it's released so late and requires motion plus that they couldn't be arsed. Choose Xenoblade next week please and I'll sing its praises tile the cows come home.
  15. Oh God you've opened the gates of hell. Why this game? You'll get as much hate as love I feel. I don't like this game. 6/10 for me, easily the worst Zelda. When I've more time I'll tell you why. I have said it before. Empy sky, controls were fine though I constantly had to recentre them. Awful minigames. Hate Fi, the most annoying sidekick. Some bosses were great. Bowling the bombs were great as was the Buddha boss. Squid was good but fighting that giant black dildo, what 3 times? Yawn. Final boss while great looking was too easy. Just 3 worlds and disjointed didn't help either. I cannot understand how people are blind to its failures.
  16. Eh because I just said so. Nah because he didn't block Hartes view.
  17. Gouffran, yes he was offside but wasn't interfering with play. Newcastle missed some great chances in the second half.
  18. Still 5 of the injury time left. I think they're worth a draw. Newcastle's goal should've counted in the 1st half. Nasri's injury looks awful. Walcott part 2. Edit: 2-0. It's over. Still Newcastle deserved a draw. Tiote getting Man Of The Match says it so. Commentators agree.
  19. Racist? How so? I always thought Nintendo liked midgets.
  20. What's that ad on TV with the pug dog talking about a dog wig dispensing vending machine in Japan? I love Sony and Microsoft. Lies. I hate them both with a passion. Anybody can tell lies just like Michael Pachter. He's scum. He has vested interest in his lies. He owns Sony shares. Spill enough dribble from your mouth and you'll eventually get something right.
  21. I doubt Pachter owns any Nintendo console and that guy never shuts up. He spouts more rubbish than all forums combined.
  22. Filling in the survey for every game is a pain in the hole. I'm tempted now to just click anything to fly through them. I've 1,000s of points have gone to waste. Should have just kept them instead of letting them expire. I've never got anything better than a 1,000 Nintendo points card.
  23. I've 2 Wii Sports codes. Anybody want to do a swap? I imagine everyone has this game
  24. I must use up my codes before they expire. I bet a lot already are expired. It's too long between good products on the stars catalogue and I bet these cradles are gone already and won't be coming back. I must have at least 6,000 - 8,000 but like I said I'm praying they're not expired
  25. Looking at NES Remix, emulation doesn't look that hard. They've just literally ripped code from games doing as little as mirroring levels. There was a Mario level that played instead of left to right, it plays right to left. Just mirrored. Even the HUD with score and writing is backwards. Others have swapped out sprites. They had no problems here. I feel games games like this are easy cash grabs. Like was said if someone in their bedroom in the 90's could make an emulator, I'm fairly confident in this day and age someone from Nintendo's 7,000 strong workforce can perfect it. I wouldn't and don't believe a word from Nintendo. They lie all the time. Only the other day they were lying about why online multiplayer wasn't included in SM3DW. http://gonintendo.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=130489 A comment ver batem from the conversation and most comments were disbelieving of Nintendo. This place is like heaven compared to other websites and forums. Places like gonintendo forbid certain discussions because of the war that breaks out. Sites like ign, gamespot, neogaf and mynintendonews are full of trolls and no just like here people are far from happy with what Nintendo are doing. You think this is bad, you should try visiting other sites. At least we're civil to each other on this site and get along for the most part. Things are bad and people don't even talk about the half of it. Just in the last day or 2 we're hearing of more games we won't be getting. Aliens and the next Castlevania are 2 that immediately spring to mind.
