Just look at the launch, what did they have? NintendoLand and another NSMB. No wonder they're in trouble. Then there's other examples like Pikmin 3 coming out 6 months late.

I take it they won't be talking about 3rd party support at least on Wii U otherwise it would be < 1 minute long. I'd like a new 2D Metroid, preferably for Wii U. Why not for both? As much as I love Majora's Mask, I think a sequel would be better. I don't replay games. Once they're done, they're done. The exception being Super Metroid. I don't want it dominated by DKCR:TF or junk like Wii Sports U. I'd love a cool, flash new character reveal Smash Bros. of Captain Falcon that ends with a Falcon punch at the screen only to reveal the new F-Zero game in production. F-Zero GX HD'd plus 16 new courses, remixed music, 32 player online, voicechat, camera integration for in game face, use photos and gamepad to customise and create your own racers. I'd like to see a new IP created. Maybe see what Miyamoto has been working on for so long. Second gamepad integration. It's lame that only 1 person gets to use the new controller for the Wii U which is another reason that they should be embracing online more. Once and for all get the VC sorted. I await with 0% expectation. I really do hope games aren't rushed to try and remedy the mess Wii U is in.

I will say 32GB's of a hard drive is extremely paltry and depending on your game buying choices you may already have a HDD. Many here have bought one. If you have the 8GB model, it's a given. I don't want a 3rd party HDD constantly on and another plug in the wall. Nintendo skimped badly here, like many other areas(e.g. brutal gamepad battery) and depending on your choice that's another €100 at least for something respectable. Want to use it for something else? Tough $h!t, Nintendo won't let you. Nice! Now the PS4 could suffer the same fate if their games are proportionally bigger.

Yes you can partly 3rd party publishers. COD, Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed and countless others you didn't mention were gimped. Don't pretend otherwise. They've nearly all been gimped. FIFA 13? Same story. Rayman Legends sold best on Wii U despite their shananigans.

I think this game might possibly be cancelled and this announcement is preparing us for that fate. Sales will be even worse now on the Wii U version. Who's going to wait for this if they've other platforms? They haven't said how long a delay it would be. We haven't seen a single clip/screenshot of the Wii U version. It's been handed out to Bucharest, how competent are they? Aliens: Colonial Marines anybody? And that could possibly be the last we see of Ubisoft this generation except for the obligatory Just Dance.

Sony TVs are a rip-off compared to other brands and don't match the spec of Samsung and LG. Good riddance I say. They've not been up there since old school CRT Triniton TVs. They need to cut the fat.
