That was an amazing episode!

Yeah, the last episode was pretty nice!

Yeah, she's pretty useless. However, what could they do to her to make her more interesting? I find her dialogue boring and out of context mostly, and the chemistry between her and Oliver is somewhat lacking (we're all rooting for Oli and Felicity to hook up, right?). Giving her a more believable dialogue would help quite a lot, I think. I mean, the way she spoke to Sebastian and Oli in Ep12 was just.. what? And the inquiries she made were also quite off, so it hurt when noone really questioned her and her motives. Why was she also able to stay in Sebastian's office without anyone seeing her out?

Just to be sure:

Why weigh yourself? Use the mirror and stop thinking about pounds. --- My hip flexor hurts. Before Christmas, I had to stop for a week before going on vacation so in total I had three weeks rest. I didn't have problems when I returned but I could feel that I can't go as deep in my squats at the moment - so I don't. Yesterdya I had quite a lot of kettlebell swings and toes-2-bar and today my hip flexor has started aching a bit again. I believe I've overused it which sucks. So I decided to avoid KB swings for the next month or so and avoid doing anything that is too straining on the hips to see if this works. Also, I've found some strengthening exercises on the net that I'll do.

I just started book 2 (or well, 1/3 in now) so I believe I have to choose when the time comes - finish book 3.5 and then watch or watch and then finish the book while waiting between episodes. I don't really know what to do, I doubt that I could get past book 3.5 before season 4 starts.

I got mine at the age of six because I was basically blind - I rested my forehead on the paper when drawing because I could then see what I drew. This means that the glasses are HUGE, like… 1 cm thick in the middle and they make my eyes huge. I do not in any way look good with glasses. So at the age of 17 I turned to contacts. This was a great decision! I feel that I can do much more without worry, doing sports is easier, and I don't feel that I look (as) stupid anymore - I hated how people looked at me because my eyes were enormous, and I still hate that when I for some reason have to wear glasses in public. One minor thing about the contacts, though, is that in the evenings it gets harder to see because I get tired and thus my eyes get more dry, clouding my contacts. Furthermore, you always have to be prepared when you need to sleep. You need to have your stuff with you so you can't just crash at a friend's place if you hadn't anticipated it.

I wouldn't want to play this with the GamePad as I'd be afraid it'd break when I lose an important battle.

I see your point. But I can't see why it doesn't make sense to just count the total weight you are lifting. Then you could also just write "30 kg x 4 reps" in your training journal - surely that doesn't make any difference? Also, there are different sizes for bars - some are 10 kg, some are 15, while the standard bar is 20 kg. Furthermore, in the official competitions the bar is always counted.

Good work! Looks like a solid weight loss and muscle gain! I've been in South India for two weeks and took a break from training the week before that so I went to the gym today to do some nice and easy weight lifting - about 70 % of 1-2 RM in back squats, shoulder press, and deadlift. I did 6 sets of 8 reps in each of the three. That totally blew me away, I even got OMS (DOMS without delay…) in my inner thighs! But I decided that since I've gone down in most 1RM from April to now, I want to build it up again and will be doing heavy weights at least two times a week along with 3-4 times of crossfit to maintain my cardio. I went down to about 100 kg back squats, down from 127 kg, because I refined my technique - I've apparently been having a bit stripper arse when going up and to fix that I had to lower the weight. With deadlift, 130 kg is now my 1RM (140-ish in April) and my clean has gone down from 87.5 to 72 again. However, arms and shoulders are getting better so that's good. --- You always count the bar. I've never met anyone in fitness who'd not count the weight on the bar - you're lifting it as well as pratty said.

One month of waiting? Aw man!

Time-limited achievements shouldn't exist. What if the rumours about the Nordic countries getting the console in Q3 '14 are true, then they can't have them?
-
Aww. Now you've made me want to stay home from training to watch this!
-
That is what is believed, yes. See Retro_Link's video above.

I think that looks very promising, however, I'm also a bit sceptical about there being three villains.

I've never used it so I don't know. How does it look when the user stands upright? Like this, I presume: Then my worry is that the bar is not resting against your body so it might be unstable and wobbly, if you get what I mean. Of course that might be corrected by a good and stable core. Well, I'm still sceptical. The good thing, though, is that you don't get hairless on your shins with that thing. Edit: Read about it. Seems that the trap bare puts less stress on your back and allows you to lift more, although it's more like a squat. I stand corrected. Now I wish I had one to try out.
-
Safest way to deadlift? Using that thing? To me, it seems that the bar is dangling too far away from the body where you haven't got the slightest control over it so while it might be alright for light weights, it's far better to just go for the barbell and do it the proper way to begin with.

Now I'm done with the game. 0 deaths and 21,508 rupees, all hearts, all bottles. Still had two empty slots in the item menu, though. Very good game but the lack of difficulty pulls it down. -

Okay, I've been trying to figure this out for an hour or so but have failed: How do you get to the sanctuary / graveyard in Lorule?? I've done every dungeon bar Lorule Castle and got every item. I bet it's via the rift just above the graveyard in Hyrule but how do you get to it? -
Might try that workout one day, Animal. Even though I hate rowing more than 1000 m at a time. --- I just realised that I might be exercising a bit too much at the moment. With the missus out traveling the world, I don't have much else than exercising and gaming to do in the evenings after work so I do that which means that I'm on my 6th day straight since my last rest day and before that I had five days with no breaks. Furthermore, I bike to work every day five days a week which is 2*8 km which I do in about 17 minutes each way - enough to get my pulse up and working. Adding this together means that I'm currently exercising about 1.2 hours a day, rather intensive cardio and weights. I weighed myself last Saturday, 69 kg, which is about 2 kg above my 'normal' weight. Either I've gained a bit of muscle or I'm eating too much. I'm leaning towards the first altough there has been quite a lot of cake over the last two months. Other than that, weights are going alright. I've gone quite a bit down in backsquats as I'm refining my technique; previously, I could easily take 105-110 kg 4-6 times but I did it with a mix of high bar and low bar techniques which wasn't so good. Now I'm focusing on being more upright in my upper body which means that I can lift less but at least the techinique is proper now. I'm up to 98 kg for 5 reps. Deadlift is still around the 115-120 kg mark for 5 reps so that's alright.
