That was indeed awesome. Actually, this episode had a lot of laughs, way more than usual.

Do you think it'll come in a gold coloured cartridge again?

After throwing the controller away in frustration in Chapter VI after dying to Grace and Glory 20+ times, I read something online: you can buy new combos and stuff... So I bought some new techniques before the next battle against Joy and a lot of enemies, and they went a lot better - I actually got an 8.8 combo score there. I'm getting stone on every chapter, though, but I've come to a point where I don't care. I'm still getting Silver or above on each battle, but I have a hard time surviving from battle to battle. Thanks for the tips, though!

I'm playing the first one for the first time at the moment. I really don't know what to think about it. On the one hand, I do appreciate the effort they put into it and the fighting itself is alright but on the other, it just feels so random. I'm hating the Awards you get after each chapter, they really make me sad! I'm doing OK in battles (not good, but getting >= Silver for the most part), however, I also die 5+ times each chapter because there are no healing items whatsoever between battles and dodging is rather hit and miss for me. And those Alfheim Challenges rooms - just... what the f...? I have no idea how to complete the ones with limited kicks and punches. I'm tempted to just give up and go straight to 2 instead. I'm currently at the beginning of Chapter 6.

21s = 7 reps, 3 times, where the first 7 reps are from bottom to halfway up, the next 7 are from halfway up to up, and the last 7 are all the way? They are painful as fuck - and thus delightful!

Yes. Especially if the intensity isn't so high, I yawn as well. It's probably because your muscles need the air. I also yawn a lot during work - not because I'm sleep deprived or bored but simply because the air isn't good quality and my muscles demand quite a lot of air (I think, this is a theory but if less people is in the room, I don't yawn as much). By intensity, I mean the interval between sets - high intensity = less interval between sets. --- On another note, I started treatment for my groin problems with a physician today. It was slightly different from what I expected. He told me to take off my clothes and bend over... Well, he examined me and found out that I had an oddity in the bone structure in the region that he would fix. He did. And then he gave me acupuncture. That surprised me, I've always thought of it as hogum but I accepted it because, why not? Now I'm quite sore in my inner thigh. Looking forward to seeing if it has helped.

I don't mind them splitting up the last movie into two. I dislike that there is a whole year between - they do film it at once so the time between could be less.

I just finished this yesterday. I really enjoyed it, the story was just far better than that in AC and even AA. The only complaint I have is that Deathstroke appeared too early in the story and was defeated too easily whereas the likes of Firefly and Copperhead had bigger roles. I find that disappointing because Deathstroke is really far more interesting as a character than the other two. I don't think I had any problems with the combat timing alterations but I might have had - I just put anything down to my own skills. Still need to do some of the side quests but I don't want to go find all the RIddler Datapacks this time around. Now I'll move on to Bayonetta 1 on WiiU. Really looking forward to that.

Got my hip checked again yesterday and had an X-ray taken. No problem with the bones at all so that's good. It seems to be a problem with the groin, something many soccer-players experience. So now I at least know what's wrong and can get the proper help from a physician. This makes me happy. The doctor said that I could be pain free in a couple of months.

I'm also on that boat. Whilst I don't think it's more fun than ordinary Smash Battles, I do wish that the time limit could be removed, and I also wish that you could choose which game type should be the final battle.
-
In Smash Run, I just got "Climb to the top" with Ganondorf. Damn that randomness! I did win, though.

^Yeah, having to do (and win!) Smash Run with all characters is going to be a chore. Had one, ONE, online match today - just to see it. I quickly abandoned ship, it took the game at least half a second from input to reaction. It threw me completely off and ended up losing. Apart from that it was fluid though, but is this considered as lag?

It was a nice episode, I think. But I'm a bit confused - probably because I don't remember the details from Season 2.

I'm worried that the reason for the lack of Direct is that there is simply not enough to show. With the 3DS version out, we know a lot about the game so they can't fill out more than at most 10 minutes with Smash Bros. and then Captain Toad is the only game coming out in the near future from Nintendo.

Damn, getting KOs on Cruel Smash and clearing Classic on 9.0 will take time. I find that the Sword-part of Master Core is the hardest because its attacks are hard to dodge. Is that just me then? Right now I'm going for clearing Classic with all characters but did finish a run with 7.5 (8.0 until Master Core who then beat me to a pulp). Also, I didn't know about Master Core before I met it. I was litterally shocked and unable to beat it because of that!

I'm not convinced. It felt a lot like button mashing and evading but maybe I'm just doing it wrong? (Also got a bronze - I think it is the worst you can get! :P )
-
Yeah. :P It's just a bit anti-climatic, that's all.
-
What a bad way to announce the date. They should have held a Direct for that. It's disappointing that we don't get it in November as previously thought, although I understand that it's essential for the game to be out before Black November in the US. That must be some of the reasoning behind.

So.. my hip problems... this is awkward but it seems that it's due to my cycling and not crossfit. Who would have thought? I'm experimenting at the moment, so now I'm going to work by bus and doing crossfit in the evening and I have next to no pain in the hip after this. Still, I'm getting it checked on Monday. I found out that I have a special health insurance so I can get up to 12 consultations a year with a physician, chiropractor, psychologist etc. (in total) for free. Then there's really no excuse for not doing it.

(And the original is about 11-15 hours to beat, see http://www.howlongtobeat.com/search.php?t=games&s=bayonetta ) Does anyone know the price for both 1 and 2 on eShop?
-
I wonder if the last part also applies to 1on1-matches...
-
In Japan? The reviews and impressions for this game are pretty favourable. I might actually pick it up along with Bayonetta 1. Haven't tried it so don't know if I'd like it. The videos make it look a bit boring and like a button masher.
-
I think they are alright. They show off what the game is and what it does in a humorous way. I really like the "TORNADO!"-outburst and the DK-impression on the bus.

Had a 1RM test in Push press and bench press yesterday. Stupidly enough, I could take the same weight in the two! 70 kg so now I can confidently say that I can move my own bodyweight everywhere. Also did 1RM weighted pull-ups and added 24 kg to my own bodyweight.
