Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You have to understand that @BowserBasher got a Wacky Watch on the first turn, (I nicked it about halfway through the game). followed immediately by CPU Luigi getting a star from a hidden block. And then nothing of note happened for 15 turns. And then all hell broke loose! Yes, we did 3 battle games in one turn. Yes, BowserBasher got 3 stars in one turn. And I wasn't having that. So my fury of a million suns made us play an extra 5 turns, and... It made all the difference! S.C.G there, almost jinxing Luigi into second place. He never realised how right he was! Anyway, here's another moment. Anyway, good game! Despicable behaviour throughout, but good game! @darksnowman, we noticed you trying to get on the Switch App voice chat, but my phone doesn't play nice with that, literally can't hear anything on it. We normally use the N-E Voice Chat Room on Discord for when we play together. I'm sure I'd be able to invite you on to that for any future sessions. -

Yeah, no. Normal at least. You don't wanna be the person lumped with an Easy CPU in 2 V 2 games. -

Cool, hopefully @S.C.G can make it then. -

@darksnowman and @S.C.G. Would you be up for some N64 stuff at 8pm tonight with @BowserBasher and I? I'm thinking, start with a friendly Mario Party 3 game and then other games afterwards if Mario Party doesn't end up making us hate each other. -
Someone at Nintendo really liked the "Lylat language" thing. Because they did it again for Star Fox Command. There was a neat feature where you could speak into the DS microphone and the game would garble your voice up to make it "Lylat" and then apply it to characters. They also did the "Lylat" thing in a trailer for Starlink, that game that had Fox as a cameo. He answers a distress call from a character from Starlink in Lylat in a trailer. BTW, @Cube. You were wondering why they bothered re-recording for the 3DS version? It's very likely to be because that game actually has other voices for different languages, such as German. So I imagine they just wanted all the languages to get the same treatment. They did get most of the original voices back for the English dub though.

Appreciate the title change for that one. Made me chuckle. Star Fox 64 is a game that doesn't really gel with me. (Star Fox Adventures is the best Star Fox game, don't @ me) But that's more a case of me not being a huge fan of the genre. I can still appreciate it though. Half of the dialogue lives rent free in my head. Actually, the voice acting in general is really impressive for the time. 90's voice acting was very much a "Any voice acting is better then no voice acting" period of time, but Star Fox 64 is still among the best we've seen from a Ninty game. It used to be the best, but then Kid Icarus: Uprising came along and took that honour.

Mate, the majority of those people are currently championing a game that has stolen assets from hard working artists, they don't care one jot about the bottom line workers if it means they don't have to feel bad about whatever they're playing. They claim they do, but that mask proper slipped once the victim was "That company who made that bad game I don't like".

It's out now! Just casually updated my game on the fly. Switch version is all up to date now. 20% off the Among Us DLC for 1 week!

Player's Choice tonight at 8pm.

OK, yeah. Fair. Still, Korea don't care.
-
Not sure if XBox Korea are looking to capitalise on the similarities, or if they're looking to goad TPC...
-
There's not even a goal. Just a skill tree to fill out. You just do whatever. That's early access for you.
-
The copium I'm seeing on the ResetEra thread is both hilarious and sad. "It's clearly talking about that Pokémon mod" "It's just them telling fans to chill out" Let me tell you, this is not normal behaviour from TPC, they're definitely looking into it. Even Serebii was caught off guard by the statement! And they wouldn't make that statement if they didn't think there was a possibility that foul play is afoot. Whether they'll determine what's there to be worth pursuing is anyone's guess, though. I did laugh at that one poster who said "Like A Dragon's totally screwed now!" Excellent joke!

That is most certainly good flakey. Oreos are not that.
-
Oreos do suck, don't they? So flakey...
-
No, Pokémon Company winning a lawsuit wouldn't benefit freelance artists. It sucks, but that's not the problem I have. I'm more concerned on what happens if nothing is done. If a precedent is set that you can get away with stealing assets, then why waste money on hiring artists? Just do what Palworld did and get 1 person to tweak existing models. It's a lesser of two evils situation, and I'd rather have the outcome that doesn't speed up the process of cutting hard working people out of the game development process. Especially when Pocket Pair's CEO is very much publicly gung-ho about using AI for precisely that purpose. (That doesn't mean that Palworld has used AI tech like that, mind. That can't be proven at the moment)
-
Oh, well that sucks. I never realised you could actually get the other DLC spirits without owning the DLC though. That's kinda strange.
-
Or the spirits tied to the games said DLC comes from. That said, I don't think the game actually has them on the checklist if you haven't got the DLC, mind.

Power Pros, 13 Sentinels, and Hades, are the games featuring, and will be available from 26th of January, in case you can't tell from the image And here I was expecting something like FE Engage or Mario Wonder! This is a pleasant surprise! Nice to see Hades get a much deserved nod. Zagreus would make an excellent Assist Trophy for next Smash.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (25th January 2024)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Here's hoping that Capcom release a 3D version for PC then, huh? -
It would not surprise me one bit if this happened at the slightest hint of a lawsuit coming their way. In fact, I bet they're trying to make replacement Pals as we speak. They've already got the money from customers, who cares about the potential fallout?

Speaking as someone who never uses emoticons. Don't get rid of the N-E ones. The standard ones are boring.
