I said it in the other thread and I'll say it here. I'm expecting no more than 15 minutes of Mario Tennis and some details on other games we know about. Personally, I hope we get a European release date for the new Dillon game.

The fact that they specifically mention Mario Tennis Aces means that you shouldn't get your hopes up too much. Like, one surprise, tops. No-one's gonna listen to me though.

Sorry, I thought I clicked on the thread where we talk about the Switch so far. I swear, whenever a podcast gets mentioned, you guys always get distracted with talking about the people hosting it. It's kinda funny.

You know, there's nothing wrong with lowering the difficulty until you get the hang of it. Bayonetta 1 on Easy, Bayonetta 2 on Normal. That's how I did it, and once I did that, I managed to play through Hard on both games with not much difficulty. Oh, and if you haven't yet, buy Bat Within, best thing in the game.

That game's too good for the Switch.

Initially, after BOTW leaving me disappointed, I immediately went back to gaming mostly on the 3DS. (Mario Kart aside) And even now, the Switch doesn't feel any more special than any other Ninty console, it just hasn't got that game that makes me go "OK, that was worth getting the Switch for." Xenoblade 2 was good, despite it's flaws and I've spent well over 250 hours on Fire Emblem Warriors, but even that has some downsides. It says a lot that the game I'm most anticipating is probably going to be a WiiU port. Switch is a slick piece of kit, but every time I see that UI, my inner child dies a little. My Ninty console should be one of the brightest, most garish gadgets I own, but it's outdone by my Android Phone, and all I did was put Kecleon wallpaper on the home screen. I expect better.

Your save data gets overwritten the moment you save. The affinity charts get carried over but Merc Quests and Normal Quests don't. So I'm not sure if Ursula's fans will get reset, depends on whether it's tied to the Merc Quests or the Key Items you get from them, you might wanna start a New Game+, just to see if the stamps get carried over. If not, you can always not save and back up to your completed file.

The whole "Change old character's moves" is an interesting one. Some characters, I can totally understand. I'm actually OK with the idea of taking Ganondorf's moves, giving it to a new F-Zero character like Black Bull and having Ganondorf get a new moveset. But what if some people like Mario's moves as is? I happen to like Smash 4 Mario. I'm pretty good with him. "Then have Dr. Mario take over" It's not a bad suggestion, but make Dr. Mario play like Mario and you upset the people who prefer the heavier playstyle of Doc. (Me) I agree with you. I think more modern moves should be used for newcomers. Rosalina, for example, represents the Mario Galaxy games very well. Here's a great idea, leave Link alone (Except maybe a BOTW costume) and make a moveset revolving around the Sheikah Slate for one of the Champions instead. Everybody wins! Well except the nitpicky people who would no doubt cry, "But they can't use the slate". Charizard can swim, Smash don't care about your stupid inaccuracy points.

I would not want to be the guy who has to come up with a moveset for that character. Anyone who wants No Unlockable Characters is a lazy sod though. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to a temporary "unlock everything" code for competitive tournament use. I am a bit confused by "Modernise stages" I get character moves, but hasn't Smash been "modernising stages" perfectly fine? There was a Yoshi's Woolly World stage in WiiU and that particular game wasn't even out yet.

Someone likes their Water types, huh? I'm more of a Ground man, myself. I do like Machamp, it's so ridiculous, I can't help but raise a smile. It's one of the few Pokémon I think Pokken actually made look good. (Probably because it didn't have fur and already had pecs, Looking at you, Charizard) It was even funnier when The Pokémon Company tried to suggest that those Speedos were actually part of it's skin. No-one believed them.

Yeah, that's what I'm gonna focus on when I do my New Game+ run next week. I want to use Wulfric, but Rex functions as my healer and it's going to waste. EDIT: Actually, while we're talking about Rare Blades, now that the game's been out for a while, what are everyone's favourites?

Isn't this system usually to make money though in app games? There's no microtransactions in this so it seems weird to have such a system. Yes, but Japan eat it up, so I can see why they implemented it. I'm just super thankful they didn't decide to microtransaction the hell out of it. Personally, I find it more annoying that you can't swap Blades between Drivers easily.

That's a possibility, given the severe backlash to the app. I hope they do, but it's possible that they flat out drop anything to do with voice chat altogether. Impossible to tell with Ninty.
