  1. I'm not entirely sure about this, but there's been stories about how a course doesn't show up in the random selection until one person (That isn't the creator) plays it. Which is a problem if you have no friends. Luckily, putting it on N-Europe will get me to eventually play it (During the weekend). It's a very weird problem.

  3. All three (and the fourth game) are ones I haven't played through. Seeing as I'm a Ninty gamer whose first experience with DQ was IX, that's probably not too surprising. Might have to look into that fan translation of the SNES versions... There were SNES versions, right?
  4. Yeah, with you on that. I haven't gotten an amiibo since receiving the 8-Bit Link from @Dcubed as a Christmas present. (He totally didn't end up getting two and just gift one to me) B-K is definitely gonna be my 7th, they're going right next to Shulk in my "British accent" section.

  6. Nope, it'll be a while before we get news of the DLC characters. They're probably gonna show up once all the base game characters that weren't in Smash 4 are done.

  8. There is some good advice there and it's a great thing to reference if you're unsure of what theme to use. But I don't think these should be hard rules. Sometimes, I choose a theme that would fit the aesthetic of whatever stupid idea I've based a level around. Cannon Boos would look stupid in a Sky level, despite the level I made for that being a more athletic kind of affair, so I went with Ghost House. Kinda highlights the absurdity of the idea as well.
  9. I haven't had an opportunity to watch the above video yet due to my limited internet access during the weekdays. I will at some point, don't get me wrong. I'm probably gonna be more appallled when I do. But this is why I pulled all those dramatic theatrics when Pokémon GO was revealed, I couldn't care less what format it was on, but I just knew there'd be microstransactions. I still think it's been a negative influencer on Nintendo and especially The Pokémon Company when it comes to Mobile Gaming. The upcoming "Pokémon Masters" is going in hard on the Gacha element, and it makes me sad that a few will spend thousands to get Cynthia (Guarantee she'll be super rare to get, and once I'm proven right, I'm gonna call it out) Now I'm not claiming the games those two have made are as egregious as some other examples. Not one bit, but it's still a dangerous combination of Nintendo's child-friendly franchises and Microstransactions. It's a shame too, because I can guarantee there are some quality titles on mobiles (I really enjoyed Puzzles & Dragons when it ditched microstransactions for the 3DS version), but I'm never gonna find them, because the kind of game I think would be worth my time and deserves success would never be successful on the mobile market.

  14. Yep, here I am, one day late, like clockwork!
  15. I'm watching the Octopath Traveller run. Holy crap, it's hilarious how unlucky the runner is here. A 3% Steal chance is needed for this route. So for a laugh, the runner attempted a different 3% steal chance for an item that wasn't needed. Got it first go. As for the actual needed item. It took 55 attempts. This final boss is killing the run though. Absolute horrid luck going on.
  16. I just found out that you can change the character you play as if you go to the settings. Blue Toad all the way for me now.
  17. These are pretty good, the only thing I would suggest is that you consider using context sensitive power ups in future levels. You know, a power up that changes depending on whether you have a Super Mushroom or not. If you take something like a Fire Flower or a Super Leaf and then drag a Super Mushroom over it, you'll get a context sensitive item instead.

  19. Just played through it. Think I did it the way you intended people to do it. There's always one guy who'll get past something in a way you don't foresee. But that just makes it more fun.
  20. Holy rhythm based gameplay! Batm... I mean, @Jonnas. Kudos on beating Aria Mode! Legit impressive! I guess I should point out that I completed the Story Mode in Mario Maker 2 yesterday. All levels done. The last one was kinda funny, but nothing too difficult. I'm also trucking through Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, well, more like struggling. Game's still really hard. About three quarters through the main plotline and I'm almost at that moment. Those who've played it will know what I'm on about. I've also finally started playing Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers. Man, the budget upgrade really shows. Still sports awesome character designs (well, expect the Amiimals, which look so out of place). Shout out to Mayor Panthado, who looks completely trustworthy. I'd vote for him.

  23. My level from the WiiU, "CAUTION: Cannon Boos!" is too good to leave behind. So good, Nintendo nicked the titled concept and used it in one of the Story Mode levels.
  24. Credits all rolled now. Haven't done every level yet. But it was lots of fun. Definitely got some inspiration for some levels to create.
  25. You're not the first person to say something like that and it really confuses me. After all, Mario Maker 1 had Nintendo designed levels built in.
