As far as finishes go, you can't really top that last one! Thanks for the games!

Oh my god, Ivysaur's run animation on that stage is nothing short of amazing if you tap the stick repeatedly!
-
Give me a moment, @BowserBasher, gonna get to a room that's closer to the router.
-
Room's open now.

@viceview51 are you there?

Last time, I caved and checked the designs for Incineroar, Decidueye and Primarina in the run up to Sun/Moon and I quickly regretted it while playing the game because I knew I robbed myself of the mystery of what the starters might evolve into. Not making that mistake again.

Thanks to @Ugh first aid, we're both getting all 3 at the start. Like we've done in every game. For me though, Scorbunny is going straight in the PC while Sobble and Grookey are coming with me on my Galar adventure. Sobble's never leaving because it's the second chameleon Pokémon, while Grookey will probably be the first to be boxed if I find more than 6 new Pokémon where I think "I need that on my team" It's gonna be interesting to see if what Grookey evolves into can beat Simisage in the "How Much I Like This Grass Monkey Design" competition. Drednaw and Obstagoon are 2 of the officially revealed Pokémon I plan on getting as well, so I'm already equalling the amount of Pokémon I finished Sun/Moon with. I did not like a lot of the Pokémon Sun/Moon introduced... That's one thing X/Y did better.

Oh, by the way, fair warning. If some of you does decide to Smash until midnight (Very likely, because I'm pulling an all-nighter), I'll be closing the room around 15 minutes before hand. Y'all not stopping me from playing Pokémon! Also, there's a patch (Fixes a bug that rarely happens with BUSTA WOLF!). So you'll need to download that before you play online.

Tonight's Smash session will start at 9:15pm. It'll be stock this time.

Demon's Crest is probably the best Capcom game on the SNES.

I think I know the puzzle @Ronnie and @MindFreak are on about, it's one of the more devious puzzles, but once @Dcubed solved it, we thought it was really clever. Just enough hints there to not be impossible to figure out.

In before "half the Pokémon in Smash aren't even in Sword/Shield"
-
You're absolutely right, but don't downplay the amount of Pokémon cut as "a few" I'd be astonished if over half of them got in.

In other words, I was right all along about the Pokémon models? I mean, it was really blatant from the start. The 3DS models were designed in such a way that they would look fine on a HD console. Back on the 3DS, a lot of fans were under the assumption that the models were this high quality precisely to make the eventual jump to HD smoother. It's why the frame rate in battles on the 3DS was prone to tanking. So when Game Freak gave the excuse that redoing all the models and animations was the reason for cutting Pokémon, I didn't believe them one bit. I could tell straight away that they were using the 3DS models for older Pokémon.
-
I mean, you can't do that anyway, but I get your point.
-
Well, now I'm praying that the one-time TM's can be reobtained as much as you like. I shouldn't have to though, it was a problem solved by Black/White!

Directly with other people, kinda like the rubbish way of trading Let's GO had. You'd have to organise it with someone in real life before hand and both go online at the same time and enter some code at roughly the same time as someone else. That kind of direct trading is fine as an option, but the GTS was by far the most popular way of trading, thanks to how easy it was. It's still gets tons of use in all the 3DS games, yes, even X/Y. It's a massive hit to anyone who plans on playing competitively. Pokémon is a game of strategy and cutting Pokémon means cutting any strategies that came with it. For example, in Sun/Moon, I found some moderate success with a doubles team that utilised Electric Terrain thanks to Tapu Koko. It managed to make Raichu and Hawlucha really dangerous and I could use Alolan Marowak to counter anyone who tries to use that against me. Remove Tapu Koko and half of my team becomes useless. Of course, the meta changes every generation, but it would have been nice for something to fall back on, if any of the new Pokémon don't gel with my style of battling. The fuck? Please tell me you're mistaken!

Are you using the face buttons for the Poltergust features? Because if you are, stop doing that and use the L and R buttons instead. Should make it easier to multitask. Why the game doesn't point this out is beyond me. L is the plunger, R is the torch and both of them get you the dark light.

Well, for what it's worth, I'll be handling the review for N-Europe. We didn't get a review code though, so, you know, give me a week after it's released. I'll likely be in the minority of reviewers who actually delves really deep into the mechanics of the series. While I certainly wouldn't miss the feature, (mainly because I trust the legitimacy of a stranger's Pokémon about as far as I can throw it) if that's the case, that only vindicates that I was kinda right about Let's Go bleeding into the main series in a negative way.

This is the main reason why I think they need to stop releasing a Pokémon title every year.

So, Terry Bogard was added to Smash with a smorgasbord of songs from a decent variety of SNK titles. Quite a large number of remixes made for Smash as well. But this particular remix is the shining gem of the bunch for me. That's some good 80's anime style flair there. And the sax solo is top notch. From what I've seen, the Psycho Soldier theme is the first video game music to feature vocals. So there's some proper history for you.

The feature only just got added, I wouldn't be surprised if bigger online games like Smash and Mario Kart got it patched in.
