I like Backgammon... But yeah, you're free to not play the third game if someone has already won twice. It's what I've been doing.
-
Seems only fair that I show off my amazing plays too.

Next League Night: 10th September 8pm Room 1: @BowserBasher is host @Glen-i @BowserBasher @Jayesse @S.C.G @martinist @viceview51 Most of you should know what this particular setup means. The 10th of September was when the world was graced with one of America's finest sitcoms. And here at N-Europe, we like to pay it mad respect by busting out some fresh Miis and driving from ghetto to high society in; The Fresh Prince of Mario Kart I'm sure most of us know how this goes, but for the sake of formality and any newer participants, have a look at these dope Miis that @RedShell made. Because there's no way to share Miis online on the Switch, you'll have to use the above picture to recreate your chosen member of the Banks Family (Or Jazz). Don't forget to use those fine tuning options to get things just so. Seeing as there's 6 of us regulars, it should be reasonable to expect everyone to choose a different Mii to play as. So if you could let everone know who you want to play as, that'd be fly. And finally, just in case some of you make a faux pas and show up as the same Mii, rename the Mii in a way that I can easily recognise as you. So Jazz-i or Uncle Vice, for example. Sign up now!

Yeah, I'm tired now. We'll have to finish that next week. Cheers for the company, @drahkon
-
Yep, 6-5 is a very mean level!
-
Oh my daze, creepy timing!
-
Right, heading back on the online SNES, @drahkon. Come on whenever you've finished depositing food into your mouth hole.
-
Maybe they're having PTSD over Sunshine's Red Coin Leaf Boat Challenge?
-
Make it half an hour. I should get some grub as well. Oh, and don't worry, the line up game is totally rigged.
-
If you say so. In that case, I won both games tonight. Thanks for the games, @S.C.G would play some more, but I promised @drahkon we'd play SMB 3 at 7.
-
@S.C.G I don't mind calling that first Backgammon a practice match. I think you weren't clear on the rules.
-
Right, @S.C.G I've opened a room. No rush, I'm just gonna browse around the net. So don't be surprised if you join the room and I fail to notice for a minute or two.
-
@S.C.G, do you mind if I change our time to 6pm tonight?
-
7pm (UK time) good for you?
-
That heart has an annoying habit of appearing when it's no use. The physics in SMB2 are borked. In a delightfully amusing way.

Well, it's an improvement from the original version at least. PKMNMDRRT/BRT

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury (12 Feb 2021)
Glen-i replied to Ronnie's topic in Nintendo Gaming
@Dcubed don't you think @markderoos already suffers enough without you getting hopes up? -
I definitely want to play this, assuming it's a good remaster. PS4 only, right? Anyway, main reason I came here is because some nutter with too much time on their hands has made a Tony Hawk Timeline, so you can keep track of that deep THPS lore! Eric Sparrow is still one of the greatest video game villains.
-
Always there, but it gets updated whenever a new character comes around. That said, the Techniques section does suffer from Smash Menu Syndrome a bit, it's easy to miss.
-
Huh? But it's Friday tonight. I thought you were doing this on Saturday?

Game Freak have nothing to do with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon! Someone has to. It's an annoyingly common mistake. Almost as bad as people thinking Nintendo make Pokémon games. (What is it with Pokémon?) With the amount of times I've had to point that out in the past 15 years, I feel like I should be getting paid for it at this point. Anyway, it's hard to tell with Rescue Team DX whether it's using the 3DS engine. But there's no question with Origami King. (Not a bad thing, by the way, Colour Splash's engine is too good looking to use in just one game)
-
I mean, he's not wrong. Rescue Team DX converts a 2D game to a 3D engine with a gorgeous watercolour aesthetic and has over 400 Pokémon to implement. Origami King reuses the Colour Splash engine. That alone says a lot. Now, if we were to compare PMD to Colour Splash, that would be closer.

I guess that makes sense. I'm just thankful I immediately switched it off back in Brawl. But button input is the only way you can do a short hop attack. And those are really helpful for hitting people on the ground with an air attack. It also lets you glide along the ground with Peach and Daisy if you hold the stick down, then press the jump button. Have you or @BowserBasher checked out the Techniques page in the Help menu? There's some great little explanation of various techniques. They even have short clips demonstrating them. I keep forgetting Shield Cancel Up-Smash is a thing.

The stage has a cool aesthetic to it, but that particular Shine is notorious for being a massive difficulty spike that cannot be skipped (It's one of the Shines you need to finish the game). It goes to show that if you look up the That One Boss Mario page on TV Tropes. Phantamanta is one of only two Sunshine bosses that qualifies. (Eely-Mouth is the other one, thanks to the weird swimming controls)

One of the Japanese adverts for this perfectly encapsulates Mario Sunshine. Yep, 100% accurate.
