  1. Do you have to be a bit of an anime fan to really love Persona though? I mean there's a great story driven RPG in there but there's no doubt it's wrapped up with a moe, slice-of-life highschool anime bow.
  2. Did you watch it in 3D? They also had an intro especially for that, filmed by Matt Smith and David Tennant.
  3. Yeah you have to make multiple accounts, but you can't install games from multiple accounts to the same system, you'd need more than one memory card.
  4. It's still funny though. Serious enough a gamer to queue days early outside for a console in winter, not serious enough to pre-order online the moment they open.

    It's more than a rumour, it's been announced http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/technology/playstation-4-sony-release-ultimate-2851950
  6. I think I've been pretty level-headed.... It only looks negative in comparison to some of the overly optimistic outlook everyone else has. I play devil's advocate against completely baseless hopes like "Knack looks amazing!" or "We'll be able to stream our PS3 game at launch using Gaikai" My opinion of the PS4 since it was announced has basically been "I'm definitely getting one, as soon as it has a few games to make it worth it".
  7. Is anyone else finding problems with KitKat? My Nexus 7 (2013 model) is now generally much slower... Chrome crashes a lot. There's a bug where when I change the volume, you don't see the volume indicator change live (but it's changed next time it comes up) Also the white icons look shit and the "OK Google" function doesn't work without setting your language to English US. The date format is also a mess on my homepage clock widget (no spaces sometimes). Exactly what use is Android 4.4 so far? Honestly, I'm getting pretty tired of Google and Android. I constantly find their websites are buggy, Android crashes, Chrome crashes....
  8. Not as much as you'd think, with server farms and the like. Steam does it just fine and at bargain prices. Maybe not 50GB but they have free to play games like TF2 which clock in at over 12GB.
  9. The design was meant to be very close to the original, I thought it was pretty good! Original: Although I may be saying that because I'm friendly with someone from the prosthetics company that made it :p
  10. Yep, I'm with you there. Good at first, and even the general concept of her appearing backwards through the Doctor's life was great, but the character was annoying. It wasn't the actress' fault though, it was her dialogue.

I nearly took the plunge and bought this when I noticed that it's even sub-£20 for the digital version, direct through PSN. They make it so temptingly easy. But I have so. many. games. to play.
  12. Yeah, most reactions to this game came when the Persona fans were sitting around waiting for a Persona 5 announcement, they thought this was it (along with a dance game on the Vita)... it was hard to be positive in that instance :p
  13. So I'm not allowed to make jokes here? Maybe it's because I didn't use you guys' favourite delivery method:
  14. It's worth a thought at least that whilst we as gamers laughed and cried about "TV, TV, SPORTS", there is actually a pretty insanely huge market for that. In America, if we consider every household with a games console, American Football is probably more popular amongst those households than gaming. I'm not defending what they've done, but the only people we've seen arguing a case against it is gamers. Of course they're going to take the position of "why have you given so much focus to non-gaming aspects?" In terms of retail games, frankly I think neither system has the edge at launch, but PS4 is set to shift ahead quickly in the future. Xbox's biggest letdown to me is that PS4 has stormed ahead with Indie gaming. Considering it was Xbox who was first to put a community-regulated indie game marketplace right there in the main menu, and considering that in the early years of the 360, the XBLA was a huge, huge deal, it's a shame to see that faltering a bit now.
  15. I can already do this on every console I own. It's pretty complicated, but I'm going to break it down: 1. Plug headphones into TV.
  16. Hurt was brilliant, yeah. Even if we'd known for sure that it was meant for Ecclestone, Hurt still put up a solid enough performance to fill that gap.
  17. Even that's pretty optimistic. I wouldn't be surprised if we never got it in Europe. We still don't have a release date for Shin Megami Tensei IV which came out in July in the US. And now Sega is involved, who are even worse at bringing things over to our shores.
  18. I think what you mean is that you have one year to drastically improve your Japanese ready for importing
  19. That was a harrowing 40 minutes :p Way to make us think all hope was lost. Here's the teaser if you missed it. http://persona5.jp
  20. P5 on PS3. Awesome.
  21. I've never watched an announcement stream that was so much talking and so little anything. There's a 60 second countdown! If you dont have the link get there now! http://www.twitch.tv/ishamaruisorath
  22. There's Persona Q (combines P3 and P4 characters in a chibi style, for 3DS) a dancing game for Vita and P4A2. Rumours seem to be bouncing around right now that P5 is Wii U :/ I would pick up a Wii U for P5, but dat-region lock....
  23. Oh lawd, this is why I kept my hopes firmly grounded. We'll never get Persona Q, the 3DS game. Even if you have a US 3DS, the chances are slim.
  24. Is it only me and @Cube that went to the cinema for this then? You missed out! It felt like it was made for the big screen. So much so that it feels weird you guys calling it an "episode" because to me it felt like a film. Anyway, I think it was the best bit of Doctor Who I've ever watched I love a good piece of time travel fiction and sadly, despite its premise, Doctor Who rarely qualifies, with far too many timey wimey plot holes. But not this time! The whole thing was very solid. Perhaps my only niggle was Capaldi's appearance, which didn't make much sense (if you can have one future doctor, why not have dozens? A cinema-only gag mentioned that there will be 50+ doctors by the 100th anniversary :p) It's such a shame Ecclestone didn't reprise his role here. It didn't make sense in the story for him not to be there. I even wonder if the idea originally was to have Ecclestone as the War doctor, so that this whole anniversary special centred around the three modern doctors and what they represented since the button was pressed. IMO, this isn't even debatable! It's the entire point of it. We the audience and even the doctor himself has believed it happened right up until now.
  25. Oh I've been in the club a while fantastic little system but unfortunately the 3G packed in on my last one. I shipped it back to Amazon and they gave me a full refund. With the amount the price has dropped over the last 6 months, I was able to wrangle this version with the 8 game pack and a memory card for a mere £10 difference PS, loved Gravity Rush, but P4G is the system's must-have!
