Wasn't this thread made a some time ago? Anyway, Gold and Silver. That's a no brainer, really.

My first router (an MSI one) had that problem. It turned out to be deffective. You never know.

I really hope they don't skip kakashi gaiden. I'm looking forward to it. Hmm... plot and violence. Evangelion? But you probably have already seen it.

Cartoon Network cartoons rules and alcohol smells like piss (makes me want to puke). 50000 UNIQUE icons? Did you take a screenshot? That's quite a feat... a strange feat.

"Wii-type Functionality Is just A Sub-element Of PS3"
Blue_Ninja0 replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Sweetheart? Is that you? Well, i hope the HD-DVD crew wins this one out. -
Ups, i haven't thought of it that way. Great idea.
-
Was that a joke? Are you sure you know what a component input is? Or am i missing something here? I think you're mistaking component for composite. Component = good Composite = bad

official rare gamecube game thread!
Blue_Ninja0 replied to taiomi's topic in General Gaming Discussion
Pokémon Box (why is Pokémon considered a spelling mistake and Pokemon is not?) Eternal Darkness - I guess it was kind of rare. -
Do it please! Mine is on the minimum:smile: But i may turn it a bit up. I have a LE26R72, btw.
-
Something like this? On a sidenote: A PCI sound card is usually way better than a USB one, in terms of sound quality. But a friend of mine has that one, and i think it's pretty good. Plus, it has virtual 7.1 surround.

8/10 Anime shizzle... always good. -
I'm almost guaranteed a Wii and Zelda from launch, so my only worry is not to be able to get some component cables and be forced to play Zelda on composite. Guess i'll have to set it up on my old CRT if that happens.
-
I have a TV very similar to that (LE26R72) and although i don't notice much difference, i think it reduces gaming lag and maybe it gives some other benefits. I say use game mode. I use it to play gamecube.
-
^ Now that looks more like a solid HDTV. But i recommend you to search on forums about gaming lag, or you can get a big disappointment. Also, check the specs of that model on the official Philips website, just to check if the ones on amazon are correct. I've seen multiple sites showing different specs for the same TV's.
-
Notice that TV is not HD ready and by these specs it looks like some weird setup: Samsung R71 specs If i were you i would wait, save a bit more and buy the 23" version instead. By those specs i don't trust that 19" one. And don't forget to check if it has gaming lag first, as they don't have Gaming Mode.

These kind of problems won't happen as much in Europe as they happen in America.

From Revolution to Wii - The Road in Pictures (56K Warning)
Blue_Ninja0 replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
When i learned they were changing the name to Wii i really hated it. But then i thought to myself that in a week i would be liking the name, so i just shut up. Same goes for the controller. -
Such ads are not going around here As expected...

If this gets released on Wii VC, i'm definitely getting it.

The european Wii launch is looking to be a MESS
Blue_Ninja0 replied to darthbane2k's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I would definitely notice the difference even if they were not side by side: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=290562&postcount=185 And that's compared to RGB without progressive scan. With component and progressive scan it gets much better. I'm going to be really pissed if i can't get some component cables when i get my Wii. Am i supposed to play Zelda looking at a big blob of colors? Wii Sports might be fine though. -
From Revolution to Wii - The Road in Pictures (56K Warning)
Blue_Ninja0 replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Those were the times... when Iwata was supposed to bombzaldropen on GDC. I had a site with the list of all the Revolution Controller fakes, but i lost it -
LOL, i know. But for the purpose of retaining picture quality maybe PNG is the best file type because it keeps 100% 1:1 quality AND compresses it the best it can whilst BMP does not compress it. It does that by using exactly the same process Winzip or Winrar do by compressing a BMP. But, for this kind of pictures, like photographs, with no padronized colors, it would take around 3MB in this case and i could not upload them on imageshack. The camera i took the pictures with only saves in jpeg, so i couldn't do anything anyway. That's the best quality i could get. Also, try this: draw a black line against a white background, then save a copy in BMP (24 bit color), another on JPEG, and another on PNG. Witch one is best regarding quality and save space? And i've gone way off topic. Sorry.

http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9573 Yes, you definitely will want the Component cables, to take advantage of progressive scan. That thread is very informative. I don't know about that TV, but i have a Samsung R7 model and i love it.
