This is an overwhelmingly anti-shoe response when it comes to indoors. Maybe it's just different in your places, but here it's pretty much the norm for people to wear shoes in their homes. I go to plenty of my friends' houses and the majority of them wear shoes inside, and that doesn't mean their houses are dirty.

Last year I didn't give a damn about my diet. Now I've become more health-conscious and cut down on all soda (I used to drink about 2-6 cans a day) and I watch what I eat. I also decided to cut down on the meat, and even though I do a fraction of the excercise I did last year, I lost about 10 pounds without meaning to. I'm pretty lean, but have started doing push-ups and sit-ups and since I have hardly any fat, my muscles are really starting show quite nicely. w0000t!!!

Well, I wear shoes a lot in my house. Unless I actually need to take them off, I don't bother. Then again, if I don't have them on, I don't bother putting them on unless I need to. For this, most of the time I am wearing shoes/trainers. I get pretty pissed off when I go to someone's house and my friend's mom barks at me telling me to go out and take off my shoes. Lack of respect in my opinion.

I can see this turning into a gear thread..... I have a Takamine, but it's classical. Great for me and I don't have any complaints. It sounds great and crisp and it has taken a few beatings quite well. I'm sure we have plenty of guitarists here who'll be willing to help you out.
