Final Fantasy VII. End of disc one. No idea what I'm on about? Play it.. you'll never play a more enthralling story. I really have to play Zelda, Killer 7, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid and most importantly Gears of War. I wish my PS2 hadn't broken.. so many great games i've missed.

I think it is saturated. The GameCube did the job well.. I don't think it is needed.

My GameStation has about 20 games, and they all suck. I guess they've sold their Cube stock.. my independant retailer is still selling about 3 games for £40 (I laughed and walked out)

Not worth selling, give it away (to a charity, friend, family or hospital) with games and controllers. Or keep it just to have a second Cube in another room for retro's sake. We have a GameCube set up in a car at the moment.. it's hilarious. You play on my mates .mp4 player, plug the system in on the ash tray. Such the crash waiting to happen. Smash Bros. whilst bombing around is funny though.

Seems reasonable to me, Mac OS requires a 1ghz G4 now I think, and 512mb is recommended. I won't be adopting until 2010 probably.. lets say it comes out spring 2007, it probably wont fly on the systems available at a reasonable price (Dell etc..) give it 2 years for hardware prices to become reasonable for something just a tad above the recommended requirements. Minimum will be shit though.. you all know how bad XP is on minimum. 15gb seems highly unreasonable though.. could be another bloated system? I don't know.. maybe I'll come back to Microsoft, I really like the idea of having Linux, Open Office and free standards. Providing they are as reliable as their corporate alternative.

Don't even think this one had a point, Pokemon stadium was godlly if you got the GameBoy cable and uploaded your pokemon. My friend George played that hardcore and got this beasty Machamp which was unstoppable.. can't remember all his techno mumbo jumbo but he had to train 6 of them to level 100 to get it right because it was hard to get it to get this trick or soemthing.

I'll let you know what I think because I'm a total virgin to the Metroid thing not playing any of the 2D games (and no intention to do so either) Perhaps I'll have a different viewpoint on them.. from what I've seen of Prime I can't see how there is anything anyone would ever hate about that game. It could easily be a contender for my top 5 games.

Who would buy it? Sega have been out the spotlight for over 5 years. It's not financially viable.

I just paid £15 for second hand Mario Sunshine and it's on Amazon for £17 new, oh well.. it's still relatively crisp- doubt i'll resell it for more than a tenner.

Was good fun on the Mega Drive, I remember renting it but never getting too far. I liked the style and I think a resurection is in need. Dunno how well he will perform in 3D though.. so many platformers should've just stayed 2D.

The Mario demo actually expressed a simple calibration program each time the demo was started. You extend your arm to a point where it is comfortable, aim it directly at the centre of the screen and then providing you don't move from where you are playing it should be fine. If the controller and system both know the 'resting position' any deviation from this centre point can be tracked throughout the play session. For multiplay you'll all do the same.. but surround the TV in a oval kind of shape.

What do you expect? You really can't give your 360 speed.. douse it and water and keep an eye on it while it comes down.

Well the Wii remote is gonna be small for us, Miyamoto has small hands and it looks snug in his hand. I'm happy that it's small.. less stretching for the thumb. Also there is confirmation that they are working on the DS/Wii connectivity. With the popularity of the DS around the world, but especially in Japan it makes sense- the hardware is set and will definitely function with the Wii however they need to decide on intuitive, fluid and worthwhile DS Wii functionality. "These are the decisions that we haven't made yet" but you can be it will be microphone and touch screen beneficial.. lets say drawing some patterns, designing your characetuer. It has to be substantial enough to warrant the DS purchase for a Wii owner.. and substantial enough for the Wii purchase from a DS owners point of view. They have their heads screwed on and I think it's rad- the Wii controller is not all singing all dancing- it can't emulate processes that require a solid surface. I don't know how they're gonna make trauma center work on Wii without a solid surface to rest on. It's gonna be fiddley

It is probably the interview from which the 'Miyamoto ejects a game from Wii' footage came from.. I'm a few minutes into it, and I'm not feeling anything amazingly new. But when Miyamoto speaks he's usually worth listening to and I know many of you enjoy it.
