Wii Music and Wii Health pack are not multiplayer. I don't see the benefit of a pack in controller.

It's published by Prima games, who do distribute guides in the UK. So there is every possibility of it coming out here. But it's nothing to do with Nintendo.. and it has NO collector's value. Just because they say it's collectible and has a nice cover (which I expect for $20) does not mean it is going to be exclusive or worth anything. Nintendo will no doubt have an official one out.

Ultima Online was much better and rewarding socially and game-ly I've just discovered HD versions of the 1up show, I really enjoy the show.. i'm working through the last few weeks of episodes right now. Gah can I be arsed to play Zelda: Ocarina of Time before Twilight Princess? Part of me thinks it will lessen the experience as I've never played a 3D Zelda before besides Wind Waker.

It's just a shame that a free poster can sell a newspaper or a magazine. You should see the 'I want free shit' thread over at ONM. I used to buy magazines and comics for free sweets or freebies when I was a kid.. but I never bought a bad magazine just because it had something i wanted. OPM was the best mag, always a quality demo disc. Hopefully with the Wii being on DVD we can get some proper Nintendo demo discs in the ecosystem because downloading isn't suitable for the Wii IMHO.

I'm not saying Wii points cards ont appear in the catalogue. But a direct translation from Stars - points is highly unlikely in my eyes because it would take a lot of effort and logistics to interface the two systems safely. It's like saying, well they could.. but seeing as it takes them several months to post out a star catalogue item at times my theory is. They just won't be arsed. I genuinely see it just being ditched soon in favour of free wallpapers and screensavers for all.

Gran Turismo was the second game to take the word simulator seriously, the first being Flight Simulator. I preferred the PSone versions where you could get second hand cars and check their price to the specs.. it really was a driving simulator. I don't think it's right to compare any racer to Gran Turismo except Forza and maybe Toca. They are as you say in a league of their own. Gran Turismo was the first to properly use analog sticks, rumble, a kick ass soundtrack, photorealistic graphics (for the time) and physics to the max. Each car was personally tested for about 6 hours to ensure the right handling and rumble feedback was given.. the right sounds. It was perfection more than a game.

Yeah, Iwata originally said that their content will definitely not be free. But he's given the go ahead for promotions akin to the Nintendo Stars catalogue. Don't expect a free song like iTunes. Also what pisses me off is that we were told we would be able to sample content before buying- has that materialised? No.
